My AXA Neuroscience TRAXAFEN Fat Burner Review
My AXA Neuroscience TRAXAFEN Fat Burner Review First Look:
It is a Thursday evening and that can mean only one thing…out for dinner and cocktails with the more accomplished half of myself and girlfriend.
It also means I have just eat a Kit Kat chocolate bar which was very tasty indeed.
We also caught the train in to the city for work today and it is likly we’ll grab a cab home after a few drinks and food.
I do normally cycle in to work, or at least for two days of the week which I find really enjoyable.
The cycling also helps to fight the flab.
My girlfriend sometimes goes for a run around lunchtime but I cannot really escape the office so easily so rely on other methods to try to stay is as good shape as her.
I try to eat clean-ish throughout the day as well as maintain my weightlifting regime.
I also like to use a proven and effective fat burner called Instant Knockout which continues to offer great results.
However, in the near future I may actually be in a position whereby I can potentially squeeze more cycling and more weightlifting in to my days and week
This is an exciting prospect and one I am looking forward to if all goes to plan.
The reality is though, that if I and you want to decrease our fat mass we need to burn more calories than we consume.
An effective fat burner helps us do that, and they can give us that little edge required to strip away the last percentages you may want to rid yourself of.
Caffeine (1,3,7-Trimethylpurine-2,6-dione) – It stimulates the central nervous system (CNS), heart, muscles, and the centers that control blood pressure to give you an extra boost and hit that PB.
Caffeine Anhydrous is the purest form of caffeine so always look out for it.
This is found in 4 Gauge which is the best pre-workout.
It is also found in Instant Knockout which is the best fat burner available at present.
Schizandrol/Schizandra – This herb appears to improve concentration, speed of thinking and even attention.
5-HTP (Griffonia)– This chemical increases the synthesis of serotonin which helps against insomnia, binge eating and helps with your mood and well being.
Anyone who is or used to go clubbing to house music will know a thing or two about serotonin!
Hordenine – Technically Hordenine can be used as a stimulant and fat burner due to its associated with tyramine and noradrenaline, but not enough evidence exists currently to support its usage as nutritional supplementation.
Synephrine – This increases fat oxidation rate whilst reducing carbohydrate oxidation rate during low to moderate exercise.
Yohimbe – Related to Yohimbine, Yohimbe is a powerful stimulant and used to increase fat loss as well as assist with erectile dysfunction. Can cause a host of other problems though, this is in our supplements to avoid list.
Supplementation with yohimbine combined with resistance training does not significantly alter the body mass, muscle mass, or performance indicators.
Up to 2 pills per day.
This would equate up to a weak 754mg daily.
This dose is not particularly good when considering the best fat burners tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.
It is recommended that we have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best fat burner on the market.
This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.
Effects & Benefits:
There are four ingredients included in this fat burner that can offer benefits for weight loss.
Caffeine is a stimulant that controls the central nervous system and is a thermogenic so can raise the body temperature which in turn burns more calories.
Yohimbe is a powerful stimulant, that said it does not offer any benefit to physical performance.
It is also quite a risky ingredient which can cause a number of potential health issues such as high blood pressure and even a stroke.
Synephrene helps with fat reduction and Schizandra helps with increasing focus and concentration.
5-HTP can help with increased levels of serotonin and serotonin makes you feel good, increases feelings of empathy and prevents you eating lots.
The effects of Hordenine are not entirely conclusive.
Yohimbe can prove to be a troublesome and harmful ingredient with some fairly serious possible complications caused by it.
Too much Serotonin being released can cause long term depression. There are a host of old, crusty ravers out there who have taken too many drugs such as ecstasy which increases Serotonin release with depression problems.
On the whole, this fat burner is lacking further ingredients that are proven to stimulate fat burn.
Fat burner’s such as Instant Knockout contain ten proven and effective ingredients, whereas this only includes a few less.
Let us not forget that the overall dose is quite low too.
Plus, obviously there are a few potential issues surrounding a couple of these ingredients, too.
My AXA Neuroscience TRAXAFEN Fat Burner Review Conclusion:
This is not a terrible product, but there are shortcomings…
There are five ingredients present that will have a positive effect on fat loss.
However, that is five short of the amount found in Instant Knockout.
Then, two of these ingredients could cause some health issues.
One of the ingredients listed is not proven to be effective at reducing fat mass or increasing energy to help run that extra mile or lift that extra pound of weight.
However, more so, it lacks a number of additional proven ingredients that are found in other proven fat burners.
With the omission of the following, it doesn’t seem too positive:
- Cayenne Pepper
- Green Coffee Extract
- Green Tea
Therefore, if you buy this fat burner you will end up supplementing it with additional supplements that contain the above for much more effective and proven results.
