FITMISS Z-SLIM PM Fat Burner Review

FITMISS Z-SLIM PM Fat Burner Review

FITMISS Z-SLIM PM Fat Burner Review First Look:

I never really agree with gender specific supplements and can really only see that it is a marketing tactic used by manufacturers to expand their product range and cast the net wider to capture more customers.

This, is no exception.

It has the pink accents and is even called FITMISS, now this would hardly get the attention of the biggest bro looking for a fat burner supplement, and in some cases this could be a mistake, it could be an excellent product yet people may miss out on it purely because of the color scheme and branding name.

Weight loss aside, I am hungover today. I have felt dreadful all day after a few bottles of wine with food last night.

My head has been everywhere then I had to go to my local Army Reserves center to have a quick chat and assess me. That thankfully went well albeit I had the beer sweats.

I don’t normally do mid week drinking so this has completely disorientated me. Why is it only a Wednesday?! A Thursday I can normally deal with it, but a Wednesday takes the piss.

Either way the extra calories will not help, so I will head off to do some deadlifts soon to sort myself out just before bed.

I hope this fat burner has the remote ability to help me out.

Chromium –  Research suggests that chromium might improve weight loss in some people who are overweight or obese.

Copper – Studies by Berkeley find that copper in your diet can break down fat cells.

Magnesium –  Magnesium deficiencies are common in developed countries. A deficiency increases blood pressure, reduces glucose tolerance and causes neural excitation.

Supplementation of magnesium is not very effective at reducing fat mass.

Vitamin B6 – Using it in its most natural form, pyridoxine, B6 is an essential nutrient to raising the body’s metabolism and aiding the fat burning process.

Zinc – A study in 2013 showed that people suffering from obesity had low levels of Zinc. Also, if you are deficient in Zinc it means you cannot absorb the nutrients from your food in the intestine.

Valerian – Some research — though not all — suggests that valerian may help people with insomnia. In fact some of the research remains contradictory. Overall it is used as an alternative to prescriptive medicine.

Rasberry Ketone – Whilst touted as a miracle weight loss supplement and sometimes for lean muscle mass it is important to keep in mind that there is no reliable scientific evidence that it improves weight loss when taken by people.

Melatonin – This is produced by your pineal gland and helps control your natural sleeping pattern. More melatonin is produced in the early evening and is maintained at a high level throughout the night.

Melissa Officinalis (Lemon Balm) – This may, but it is not entirely conclusive support feelings of calmness and relaxation.

5-HTP – This chemical increases the synthesis of serotonin which helps against insomnia, binge eating and helps with your mood and well being. Anyone who is or used to go clubbing to house music will know a thing or two about serotonin!

Dose:

The advice is to take 2 capsules daily which provides an utterly dismal and beyond forgiveness 728.52mg.

This is much less than proven and effective fat burners offer.

Effects & Benefits:

Copper, Zinc, B6 and Chromium can help with fat loss which is great.

Then we have Valerian, Melatonin, 5-HTP and Lemon that can help with sleep and feelings of relaxation and calmness which will aid more sleep for recovery.

Negatives:

This provides a really low dose overall.

Less than 750mg is barely anything and much less than what we would want to expect.

Then Magnesium doesn’t aid weight loss and neither does Raspberry Ketones.

This supplement is also missing many, proven ingredients often found in the best fat burners such as:

  • B12
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Caffeine
  • Green Tea
  • Green Coffee

These ingredients would have helped massively because they are all proven to actually stimulate fat burn by raising the metabolism which increases calorie burn.

FITMISS Z-SLIM PM Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

This is a fairly annoying supplement to deal with.

This is because it does include some great ingredients that will either help with weight loss and help with sleep and recovery.

However, it also omits a lot of proven ingredients to stimulate fat burn and it is ridiculously low dosed which means that realistically the good ingredients will barely have an effect.

The low dose really lets this down as does the marketing strategy.

As a result, this doesn’t sit highly on our podium of the best fat burners which you can read about here.
