Gifted Nutrition Super Lean Fat Burner Review

Gifted Nutrition Super Lean Fat Burner Review

Gifted Nutrition Super Lean Fat Burner Review First Look:

I am currently ramming tuna and rice down my mouth. This is part of my current surge in activity to lose body fat.

I am cycling to work, eating healthier and doing more weights.

The results are slowly coming through. Really coming through and people are noticing.

Sure, I have had to make a few sacrifices, namely I am hanging up my rugby boots, well not altogether, but the weekly games and commitment will have to stop I am afraid due to constant niggly injuries to my shoulders and the constant aching of my legs.

If I didn’t enjoy lifting weights so much I would carry on and watch my body slowly deteriorate before my eyes.

This is also why I have decided to apply to join the Army Reserves which has a unit nearby. I want the camaraderie. I want the challenge. Learning new skills. I want the fitness and also to become a better human being.

However, I do not want constant tendinitis flaring up.

With the extra fitness comes the fat loss and muscle growth and I am happy. However, I strive for more, to be more shredded and ripped. To emphasize the heavy lifting in the gym and the extra miles on the bicycle.

This can be assisted with a fat burner.

Only if it is an effective fat burner though, yet so many fall foul of anecdotal ingredients and poor dosing which renders them useless.

Ingredients: The Science

Glucuronolactone – A component of many energy drinks, not great news considering there’s fuck all research on it.

Caffeine – It stimulates the central nervous system (CNS), heart, muscles, and the centers that control blood pressure to give you an extra boost and hit that PB.

Caffeine Anhydrous is the purest form of caffeine so always look out for it.

This is found in 4 Gauge which is the best pre-workout.

It is also found in Instant Knockout which is the best fat burner available at present.

Nettle Root – Good for reducing inflammation and an enlarged prostate but has no effect on testosterone.

Synephrine – This increases fat oxidation rate whilst reducing carbohydrate oxidation rate during low to moderate exercise.

Yohimbe – Related to Yohimbine, Yohimbe is a powerful stimulant and used to increase fat loss as well as assist with erectile dysfunction. Can cause a host of other problems though, this is in our supplements to avoid list.

Supplementation with yohimbine combined with resistance training does not significantly alter the body mass, muscle mass, or performance indicators.

Phenylethylamine – This appears to work in a similar manner to amphetamines and could not be safe.

Can cause anxiety, rapid heart beat and make you agitated.

Caprylic Acid – This has potential application for anti-cancer, anti-aging, anti-Alzheimer’s disease, anti-Autism, anti-infection, & general circulatory improvement.

What is known is that there are a wealth of possibilities and ‘potentials’ with Caprylic Acid as a energy provider and to suppress hunger.

However, as a sustained weight loss facilitator it is still very unclear.

Picamilon (nicotinyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid, nicotinyl-GAB, pikatropin, pikamilon) – Picamilon is used as a prescription drug in Russia for a variety of neurological conditions. It is not approved as a drug in the U.S.

https://www.fda.gov/Food/DietarySupplements/ProductsIngredients/ucm472881.htm

It is used for promoting lean muscle growth, burning fat, stabilizing blood pressure, and relieving pain.

No real evidence to prove it does though.

Inositol – A small molecule structurally similar to glucose that is involved in cellular signalling. It appears to be an effective anxiolytic at higher doses, and is quite effective in treating insulin resistance.

Dose:

2 pills per day. A bottle lasts 1 month.

This equates to a hopelessly inadequate 900mg daily.

This is a very low daily dose when compared with the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

Effects & Benefits:

Caffeine and Synephrine will help oxidize fat and raise the metabolism which will burn more calories.

Inositol can help treat insulin resistance, insulin resistance can lead to diabetes.

Caprylic Acid appears to be able to treat and alleviate a number of issues but nothing for fat burn unfortunately.

Caffeine is found in many, effective fat burners due to its proven effectiveness.

Nettle doesn’t actually help with fat loss, however, it does help reduce inflammation and too much inflammation can cause chronic disease such as obesity.

Negatives:

Yohimbe, quite worryingly can cause a whole host of issues for the user.

Not least, the use of Yohimbe by people who have schizophrenia can turn them psychotic.

If that wasn’t enough there’s also the following:

  • Heart problems
  • Raise blood pressure
  • Anxiety
  • Diabetes complications
  • Increase the speed of the nervous system

Then we have dandelion which doesn’t seem to offer any particular direct fat burning benefit.

This fat burner is made up of a proprietary blend which ruins and chance of performance or confidence in the product.

Then we are hit with the low daily dose as well.

Shall we also mention the that only 2 ingredients of the 9 actually stimulate fat loss? Yes, we probably should.

Okay, Nettle helps reduce inflammation but it’s nothing as effective as burning fat than Green Tea for instance.

Picamilon isn’t proven to work, nor is Glucuronolactone and Phenylethylamine can be really dangerous.

With just a 900mg combined daily dose it is lacking the mass that other fat burners offer.

The proprietary blend means we have no idea of how much each ingredient is included. It could just be trace amounts with lots of filler and bulking agent.

This is not what we want to see and I would wholeheartedly recommend that you avoid buying any supplements that consist of a proprietary blend.

$59.99 is also quite expensive for very little.

Gifted Nutrition Super Lean Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

This has a proprietary blend, that alone is enough for me to say no to this product.

A proprietary blend means that regardless of the good content, which this has a a few effective ingredients, we cannot be entirely sure of the exact amount of each ingredient that is included.

So, of the 3 helpful ingredients, we are not sure if it we are only getting trace amounts of each in the blend.

This concealment reduces my confidence and trust in a product, why would they hide the amounts included?! Especially when so many other products are completely transparent.

It must also be brought up again that this also is a low overall daily dose, much lower than other fat burners on offer.

Then there’s thew potential pitfalls with Yohimbe and Phenylethylamine.

This is also missing key, well regarded and proven ingredients such as:

  • Zinc
  • B6
  • B12
  • Magnesium
  • Green Tea
  • Green Coffee
  • Chromium

There are far superior and safer fat burners on the market. Fat burners that actually offer  some benefit.
