When I was in the gym last night I found it very difficult to perform the bench press as I normally would do.

Yohimbe – Related to Yohimbine, Yohimbe is a powerful stimulant and used to increase fat loss as well as assist with erectile dysfunction. Can cause a host of other problems though, this is in our supplements to avoid list.

Supplementation with yohimbine combined with resistance training does not significantly alter the body mass, muscle mass, or performance indicators.

Panex Ginseng – This form of Ginseng is the most highly researched. There’s lots of evidence which suggest cognitive function, mood and immunity is increased.

There is evidence for better erections and an increase in testosterone production for infertile men.

Fenugreek – Fenugreek is a proven ingredient as found in our benchmark testosterone boosting product; Testofuel.

Zinc – An aphrodisiac and Testosterone Booster.

Zinc is also very important for the functioning of the enzyme, hormone, and immune systems.In very high doses, zinc can act as an aromatase inhibitor and reduce estrogen levels.

It is also a potent antioxidant and can provide benefits for prostate issues.

Tribulus – Once again, the old tribulus raises its ugly head.

The problem is that because this has been touted about for so long as a bit of a miracle plant extract used by the mysterious Eastern Bloc Olympic Athletes during the Cold War people have started to believe the hype and it is an easily recognizable ingredient the ill informed will have heard about down the gym.

The issue is that it has not been scientifically proven to raise testosterone levels in any shape or form.

In fact, in studies using elite professional Australian rugby players as participants Tribulus did not produce the large gains in strength or lean muscle mass that many manufacturers claim can be experienced.

Avoid like a medieval plague if you are looking for muscular gainz.

Maca Root – This Peruvian strain of ginseng is great for lifting libido and mood, however, when it comes to raising testosterone levels it has no effect at all.

No significant influences on testosterone in any tested demographic I’m afraid.

Horny Goat Weed – Epimedium, the suspected active component of horny goat weed, appears to act as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, similar to some drugs used for erectile dysfunction.

It does not, however, stimulate testosterone production.

Longjack (Eurycoma Longifolia, TongKat Ali) – Is a pro-fertility agent and aphrodisiac that appears to have a large body of evidence supporting this role and some evidence suggesting it may be an anti-estrogen and pro-erectile agent.

Although there’s some research to suggest it may increase testosterone levels in animals and humans it is pretty lackluster which doesn’t bode too well.

DIM (Diindolylmethane) – Diindolylmethane appears to promote a healthy balance of testosterone in the body and is found in vegetables such as broccoli.

Cruciferous vegetables which contain high levels of DIM such as broccoli are eaten by many professional athletes such as rugby league players for their benefits.

Dose:

The label instructs us to have up to three capsules per day.

It is recommended that we have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best testosterone booster on the market.

When you have more doses throughout the day it ensures your body always has nutrients to work with.

Additionally, if your body receives an overload of ingredients at once, it will not utilize anything it doesn’t require at the time which can lead to waste.

Each daily serving equates to 1821.5mg which is fairly mediocre when compared to the best.

Effects & Benefits:

There are only three ingredients included which are beneficial to increasing testosterone production.

Both of which are found in what is considered the best testosterone booster on the market.

These proven ingredients are:

  • Zinc
  • Fenugreek
  • Ginseng

There’s also DIM.

DIM does not directly increase testosterone levels, however, it is able to help regulate estrogen production which is the female sex hormone.

Too much estrogen creates a hormone imbalance and your testosterone levels will drop.

Negatives:

Based on the scientific studies available, only four ingredients from a total of nine are proven to have a beneficial effect on testosterone levels.

The remaining ingredients are not proven to have any benefit whatsoever.

Plus there is the controversial Yohimbe present; not only is Yohimbe proven not to alter body mass even when combined with training, it can throw up a whole host of serious potential health issues.

It is worth mentioning that testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel include nine, proven and effective testosterone stimulating ingredients.

In addition to this, the dose does not even reach 2000mg which is about 1000mg short of what the best testosterone boosters offer.

My KIMI Master T Alpha Boost Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion:

This looks better than it performs. The clean, crisp white packaging belies an undercurrent of failure.

A testosterone booster with only three proven testosterone boosting ingredients is not worth bothering with.

When compared to effective testosterone boosters, this is lacking in real, proven and beneficial ingredients.

That is not a good result when you consider testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel which I use offers the additional following, proven ingredients that are known to stimulate testosterone:

  • D-Aspartic Acid
  • B6
  • K2
  • Magnesium
  • Oyster
  • D3

With these key ingredients missing, this supplement is not quite as effective nor does it compare quite as well to the best testosterone boosters on the market.
