MHP Super CLA Fat Burner Review First Look:

Recently I have been really pleased with my progress in losing a bit of fat and building more strength which has translated in to more muscle.

I have put this down to more cycling, which is about 14 miles per day as work is 7 miles there and back, eating rice and tuna for my lunch, eggs for breakfast and using Instant Knockout fat burner which has raised my energy levels plus my metabolism.

Therefore, overall I am happy. I still manage to sneak in the odd chocolate bar and can of soda too.

I think resisting the urge to snack continuously throughout the day or have junk food at home means if I do get hungry it tend to be wholemeal toast with peanut butter or a bit of meat.

Or, if I am feeling like it, I will have a pint of fat free milk which usually makes me feel full.

That said, I do still booze it up at the weekend…

However, where many fat burners offer, or at least the good ones, thermogenic ingredients whereby they will raise your body temperature which in turn burns more calories.

This particular supplement consists of just CLA which is short for Conjugated Linoleic Acid.

This is not a thermogenic, so how can it help..?

Conjugated Linolenic Acid (CLA) – Initial reports and studies of CLA have showed that it helped a bunch of women who did no exercise lose 9% body fat.

However, further studies are showing very mixed, if not medicore results that aren’t really setting the world alight, in fact the side effects are having their presence felt moreso outweighing any real benefits.

Any benefits that were found meant that the composition had to be greater than 80%.

Dose:

We are instructed to take 3 softgels three times daily which equates to 3000mg.

That is a lot and compares well with the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

This doesn’t compare well to the 6000mg offered by iFORCE CLA.

Effects & Benefits:

CLA is a funny one.

It has offered some awe inspiring results, 9% of body fat reduction is a phenomenal figure.

Especially when you consider those participating women did not do any exercise.

However, more recently, these figures do not seem to have been repeated, or not quite to the same level.

That adds a little concern. Was the original impressive trial flawed? Were the results tampered with? Or was it just a one off great performance never to be repeated again? A freak result perhaps.

This is a bit worrying, because, let’s face it this is a supplement which contains just 1 ingredient. There’s nothing else to offer any further support or assistance.

It is all or nothing.

At least it offers the required minimum 80% composition.

Negatives:

As already mentioned, this really is a bit patchy in terms of real world results.

There’s good test results that seem quite extraordinary and then further tests haven’t really compared or come close.

So that leaves you in a bit of a quandary…

Do you buy this and hope for the best? Try it and see or do you incorporate it with another fat burner to create a stack?

The problem is, there are fat burners available such as Instant Knockout that do work, so why risk it with this?

Plus, if you were adamant to buy and use a CLA; iFORCE nutrition offers double the dose.

So, this could or could not work.

The majority of the trials using CLA have not lived up to the original test result hype which may have been a freak result.

Then, that leaves our results quite vulnerable as this only contains 1 ingredient, therefore it could be a complete waste of time.

Not a risk I bother with.

If you want a truly effective fat burner, you would be better using one of the supplements in our top 3.
