MusclePharm Carntine Core Fat Burner Review

MusclePharm Carnitine Core Fat Burner Review First Look:

Are all Carnitine’s equal?

There’s a lot of Carntine supplements about. This is probably due to the number of possible benefits that come with Carntine supplementation.

Carnitine itself is derived from an amino acid and can be found in meat and milk.

However, you will not receive quite the same level of Carnitine from a burger as you would from some of the supplements that are to be found online or in your local supp store.

While an increase in athletic performance has yet to be linked to Carnitine it may seem to be a contributing factor to the aging process.

So far only tested on rats, it does seem to be help not exactly reverse the signs of aging but has shown to increase mobility and cognitive function.

Carnitine has also offered some positive effects for people suffering from fatigue and lack of quality sleep due to a deficiency.

Yet, it is found in many supplements that are used for weight loss.

I am always conscious of my fat levels due to packing on a few pounds after commuting 120 miles per day in my car for a period of 4 years which exhausted me and placed more stress on me.

Therefore, apart from cycling to work most days and hitting the big heavy compound lifts to burn lots of calories and build muscle I used a fat burner called Instant Knockout which has offered some great results for me.

With the success of this, I am always intrigued to see what else is available on the market.

Considering we have already established 3 fine fat burners that are effective, but this supplement from MusclePharm may be able to offer something extra.

Carnitine – Acetyl-L-carnitine helps the body produce energy. It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement, and many other body processes.

Men who were supplemented 2g per day showed an increase of Insulin like growth hormone when combined with exercise.

Rasberry Ketone – Whilst touted as a miracle weight loss supplement and sometimes for lean muscle mass it is important to keep in mind that there is no reliable scientific evidence that it improves weight loss when taken by people.

Dose

3 tablespoons per day which equates to 3000mg daily.

This is less than than some that offer over 6000mg.

Effects & Benefits:

Carnitine will be great for providing that energy required to perform exercise and shed those pounds of unwanted fat.

In men, you will also see an increase in growth hormone and this will help you build more muscle and shed fat if it is dosed adequately, luckily if you take 2 or 3 teaspoons per day you will hit the magic 2000mg required for an increase in growth hormone.

This works well for 2 reasons.

More muscle means you will have a higher metabolic rate which will require more calories burnt while resting in order to exist and maintain your increased muscle mass.

Therefore more fuel required for maintaining means a calorie deficit is closer to becoming a reality, if it isn’t already.

More muscle looks great and makes you stronger and fitter.

Negatives:

Carntine is great to include in your daily nutritional regime.

However, while they offer some great benefits, particularly creating energy for your body to use to function correctly and help fuel you through an intense weights or cardio session they do not directly increase your metabolic rate.

This is whereby your body starts to burn more calories merely to exist.

Ingredients known as thermogenics such as Cayenne peppers or Caffeine have this effect.

Therefore, this is missing some great additions that would be required to be entirely effective.

Too much supplementation of Carnitine can make you smell a little bit fishy.

It could also make you feel sick, give you stomach cramps and potentially could contribute to cardiovascular disease.

Foods also include Carnitine, the highest doses coming from Beef and Milk. However, these foods come no way near close to the lofty 2000mg figure.

Raspberry Ketones offer no fat loss benefit at all.

MusclePharm Carnitine Core Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

Carnitine is a great and effective ingredient able to assist in your quest for fat loss.

Plus, it will provide more Carnitine than ideally would be provided by food, thus, this is much more convenient.

However, this product is missing other, key and vital ingredients that would create a much more well rounded and deep fat burner supplement.

Ingredients such as:

  • Cayenne Pepper
  • B12
  • B6
  • Zinc
  • Caffeine
  • Green Tea
  • Green Coffee
  • Chromium

This could be effectively used to supplement a healthy lifestyle, solid fitness plan and a more complete fat burner.

Having Raspberry Ketones included offers no benefit toward fat loss at all.

As it stands, it wouldn’t provide the best results when compared to other fat burners, plus it offers less than some other Carnitine supplements.
