MuscleTech Xenadrine Next Gen Fat Burner Review

MuscleTech Xenadrine Next Gen Fat Burner Review First Look:

Another day at work means lots of running around, dealing with clients looking  through profit and loss sheets plus trying to sell the little space we have remaining.

However, it does encourage you not to eat too healthily.

This is the problem many of us are in similar situations and even with the best intentions some old food habits never die and that one ‘occasional’ fast food stop turns in to a regular convenience.

Even with working out, running around and never stopping for 5 minutes with careless eating trying to stay in shape is an almost fruitless task.

Therefore, something as technical and scientific looking as this fat burner from MuscleTech’s apothecary surely cannot go wrong..?

It does look good, the quality seems to be there and it contains a whole host of ingredients that should help us attack that unwanted fat.

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) – Gives you more energy and boost your metabolism, helping you shed unwanted pounds. Ensure you are not deficient in Vitamin B12 so you can do that quick 10 miler at 5am…

Vitamin B6 – Using it in its most natural form, pyridoxine, B6 is an essential nutrient to raising the body’s metabolism and aiding the fat burning process.

Niacinamide (Vit B3) –  Higher amounts of niacin can improve cholesterol levels and lower cardiovascular risks and maybe symptoms for Alzheimer’s .

However, the benefits are not exactly substantiated.

Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) – Pantothenic acid, as with other B vitamins are able to convert your food in to energy.

They’re also able to help you body use fats and proteins effectively, notwithstanding the creation of red blood cells which carry oxygen to your muscles.

Thiamine (Vitamin B1) – Thiamine is required by our bodies to properly use carbohydrates.

Some research suggests that taking thiamine together with pantethine and pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) does not improve muscle strength or endurance in athletes.

Riboflavin (B2) – Important for body growth and red blood cell production. It also aids in the release of energy from proteins.

Conjugated Linolenic Acid (CLA) – Initial reports and studies of CLA have showed that it helped a bunch of women who did no exercise lose 9% body fat.

However, further studies are showing very mixed, if not medicore results that aren’t really setting the world alight, in fact the side effects are having their presence felt moreso outweighing any real benefits.

Any benefits that were found meant that the composition had to be greater than 80%.

Medium Chain Triglycerides – Can be used to help raise metabolism but the effect is very small, MCT essentially are fatty acids that can be used for energy and they are much easier for your body to absorb – but they ain’t a miracle worker.

Caffeine – It stimulates the central nervous system (CNS), heart, muscles, and the centers that control blood pressure to give you an extra boost and hit that PB.

Caffeine Anhydrous is the purest form of caffeine so always look out for it.

This is found in 4 Gauge which is the best pre-workout.

It is also found in Instant Knockout which is the best fat burner available at present.

Garcinia Cambogia – Supposedly helps people lose weight, however, trials have been unsubstantiated or at least unimpressive.

Any tests run where there has been a glimmer of hope have been in stage 1 obese people.

C. Canephora Robusta (Green Coffee Extract) – Evidence from research has indicated that the consumption of caffeinated coffee can lead to some reductions in long-term weight gain.

These weight loss results are likely to be due to the known thermogenic effects of the caffeine.

This is found in the best fat burners such as Instant Knockout.

Euphoria Longana (Dimocarpus Longan) – There’s not enough evidence to suggest Longan fruit as a recommended option for anything although it might be a useful functional food to ingest for cognitive purposes.

Nutmeg – Appears to be good for libido, although not as effective as viagra it is still quite effective.  However, in high doses there is a risk of hallucinations and death.

Rhodiola rosea – Can protect against cognitive deficits, neuronal injury and oxidative stress, can also be used as a potential agent in treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. This is found in our favorite Nootropic.

Dose:

The advice is to take up to 4 capsules daily which provides a fair 2477.2mg.

These are to be taken as 2 twice daily.

This amount and fairly similar to what other proven and effective fat burners offer.

However, it is also better spread the doses out evenly through the day to ensure the body gets a trickle of the ingredients rather one massive hit.

Effects & Benefits:

CLA appears to offer some promise.

Garcinia may help stage 1 obese people, but the claims have not been particularity well substantiated in tests.

B12, B6, B1 can all help with metabolism and using processing carbohydrates. B6 and B12 are often found in the best fat burners.

MCT’s can help raise the metabolism but do not wrongly assume that this will offer clenbuterol style performance.

Caffeine is a widely used and well regarded proven ingredient hat can raise the metabolism do you burn more calories. Also good for a boost of energy if you are feeling drained.

This is very much the same for Green Coffee bean too.

Nutmeg could offer some hilarious consequences and also some dangerous one and Rholdiola can potentially protect against neuro-degenerative diseases.

Negatives:

This does include a proprietary blend of some of the ingredients which conceals the exact breakdown of each included.

If we are really serious, CLA and even Garcinia offer patchy results at best.

While having B2 and B3 isn’t detrimental or not at all useful I would rather have some further proven and dedicated fat burning ingredients instead.

Logan doesn’t seem to offer any real world benefits, at least not in this scenario and while having an erection may be quite useful or funny in some circumstances the fact Nutmeg could also cause hallucinations or kill you might come as a bit of a shock.

This supplement is also missing many, proven ingredients often found in the best fat burners such as:

  • Zinc
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Green Tea

These ingredients would have helped massively because they are all proven to actually stimulate fat burn by raising the metabolism which increases calorie burn.

MuscleTech Xenadrine Next Gen Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

This odes contain some useful, proven fat burning ingredients, but it also contains some rather strange additions too.

Why they would include Nutmeg which could potentially kill you or make you hallucinate is quite odd and then there’s a number of particularly irrelevant ingredients that are not proven to stimulate fat burn.

Then there’s the mediocre daily dose plus the proprietary blend.

As a result, this sits about mid range for performance and doesn’t really threaten the best fat burners which you can read about here.

Score:

3/5
