My Bodybuilding.com CLA Fat Burner Review First Look:
Ahhhh, Tuesday. A lot has happened today at work which could prove to be interesting for the future of this website.
I have also eaten two donuts today as well, plus a Kit Kat and a few sandwiches with lots of coffee.
I have also cycled to and from work today in the pissing down rain
That was a bit depressing but I feel better for it. I also took a new route home as well which means a busier road and a much longer slog of a hill.
It was okay today due to the lack of wind in the air, however, come a blustery day that will be a sapper of body and mind.
After writing this, I will hit the deadlifts in my basement gym. I do not feel particularly enthused at the moment but I have a pre workout at the ready that I will try and test to see if it can perform as well as 4GAUGE.
Part of the reason I want to do deadlifts tonight is to increase my metabolic rate, I want to ensure that I will burn off more calories than I have consumed today…because there are many.
So, a weightlifting regime with a cardio will help maximize fat loss.
I also take a fat burner to increase the calorie expenditure even more so.
This CLA is ranked highly on a popular muscle building site, because it is manufactured by them, therefore, it will be interesting to see how this will work especially when compared to Instant Knockout which I use on a regular basis with great results when combined with an exercise and food regime.
Conjugated Linolenic Acid (CLA) – Initial reports and studies have showed that CLA helped a bunch of women who did no exercise lose 9% body fat.
However, further studies are showing very mixed, if not medicore results that aren’t really setting the world alight, in fact the side effects are having their presence felt moreso outweighing any real benefits.
Any benefits that were found meant that the composition had to be greater than 80%.
Up to 3 pills per day.
This would equate up to a strong 3000mg daily.
This dose is good considering the best fat burners tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.
However, some CLA supplements offer over 6000mg!
It is recommended that we have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best fat burner on the market.
This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.
Effects & Benefits:
CLA has had a very distinctive and amazing result at reducing fat mass in women who did not exercise and just supplemented CLA, however, the results have been hard to replicate.
The composition of CLA should also be 80%, thankfully this is exactly the composition of CLA in this supplement.
CLA is seen as a bit of a wonder ingredient from its initial research results, yet, as already mentioned those initial results seem difficult to replicate.
This means it is not quite as conclusive as initially thought.
On the whole, this fat burner is lacking further ingredients that are proven to stimulate fat burn.
Fat burner’s such as Instant Knockout contain 10 proven and effective ingredients, whereas this only includes one single ingredient, and in tests it has not proven to offer completely conclusive results.
My Bodybuilding.com CLA Fat Burner Review Conclusion:
CLA may offer some great fat reducing results, but these results seem to be very few and far between.
Plus, this doesn’t offer quite as much CLA as some of the other products out there.
Some other CLA supplement also offer additional ingredients too to increase the potential effectiveness. This doesn’t though.
However, more so, it lacks a number of additional proven ingredients that are found in other proven fat burners.
With the omission of the following, it doesn’t seem too positive:
- Cayenne Pepper
- Green Coffee Extract
Therefore, if you buy this fat burner you will end up supplementing it with additional supplements that contain the above for much more effective and proven results.
