My iFORCE Nutrition CARNILEAN Fat Burner Review First Look:

So it is a Sunday. Sat with my cat Molly discussing he benefits of white socks over orange ones…she’s such a fashionista.

I have bought her a new reflective collar so she doesn’t get killed on the streets hopping between houses for different dinners.

However, she ain’t buying it…

She is also licking her lady bits as I type so I am unsure whether to listen to a girl who acts so crass.

However, today I went for a power business breakfast meeting with my associate and friend. We felt like two massive corporate twats, it was great.

I devoured what is known as the Full English. Eggs, bacon, beans, sausage, black pudding, toast, tomatoes and mushrooms.

I wasn’t even hungover…

After that little number and talking more about cars rather than any work we headed over to a hipster coffee joint.

I have a penchant for vanilla syrup in my latte. So I asked for a skinny vanilla latte.

They didn’t do it. My friend asked for a tea. They didn’t do it.

In fact, all they managed to do with any honesty was wear those hipster stripey sailor type tops and offer a look of disdain upon my TESTOSTERONEJUNKIE.COM hoodie.

Considering this was a coffee joint it baffled me that they pretty much only served muddy water with nothing more than a scowl for garnish.

Needless to say I am a masochist and will probably return with my girlfriend in tow to get her valued opinion.

Because of this lavish over indulgence called ‘feeding myself’, I am acutely aware of the obscene amount of calories and fat that Full English contained.

Not that I am particularly worried as it is merely an occasional treat. Plus I will be cycling the 14 miles to work and back tomorrow as well as hitting the weights.

In fact, I may just smash up some chest later this afternoon, I feel that I owe it to myself.

I also like to make sure I can get the right help where needed too. I tend to use a fat burner called Instant Knockout because it contains a whole host of effective ingredients that are proven to stimulate fat burn.

This Carnitine based supplement has just been released by a popular muscle building site, therefore, it will be interesting to see how this will work especially when compared to Instant Knockout which I use on a regular basis with great results when combined with a normal exercise and food regime.

Propionyl L-Carnitine HCI – At best this may help with circulation but actual evidence for this or any of the other purported uses is pretty much non existent.

Palmitoyl-R-Carnitine – This helps with the oxidization of fatty acids. Therefore, it can help with the release of energy  from cellular stores.

Carnitine Silicate – I cannot find any reputable sources or studies outlining the benefits or improvements to taking Carnitne Silicate over usual Carntine.

Niacin (B3) –  Higher amounts of niacin can improve cholesterol levels and lower cardiovascular risks. However, the jury is out on these real benefits.

Vitamin B6 – Comprising three chemically distinct compounds pyridoxal, pyridoxamine, and pyridoxine, is involved in the regulation of mental function and mood.

Vitamin B6 is also an essential homocysteine re-methylation cofactor, and deficiency is associated with increase in blood homocysteine levels.

Homocysteine is a risk factor for cerebrovascular disease and may also have directly toxic effects on neurons of the central nervous system.

Neuropsychiatric disorders including seizures, migraine, chronic pain and depression have been linked to vitamin B6 deficiency.

Using it in its most natural form, pyridoxine, B6 is an essential nutrient to raising the body’s metabolism and aiding the fat burning process.

Green Tea – well known to have many powerful health benefits. Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat.

One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese.

Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG) is found in green tea. Epidemiological studies have indicated that pronounced cardiovascular and metabolic health benefits can be obtained by regular consumption of 5-6 or more cups of green tea per day.

Furthermore, intervention studies using similar amounts of green tea, containing 200-300 mg of EGCG, have demonstrated its usefulness for maintaining cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Some researchers think that substances in green tea known as catechins are responsible for the herb’s fat-burning effect. Green tea extract is found in many a good fat burning supplement.

Dose:

Up to 4 pills per day. These are to be split in to two doses of two pills.

This would equate up to a fairly robust 2320mg daily.

This dose is not too bad considering the best fat burners tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

We recommend that you have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best fat burner on the market.

This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.

Effects & Benefits:

Carnitine, when dosed adequately can increase insulin like growth hormone which helps toward increased muscle mass.

Otherwise is is good for bodily function and creating energy which can help you go for that 5am run. You mad bastard.

Carnitine in all forms is used or required for energy.

Green Tea or rather the EGCG found in Green Tea is good for fat burning and it is why Green Tea is often found in effective fat burners such as Instant Knockout.

B6 is also another great addition with a whole host of benefits including being a contributory factor for fat loss.

Negatives:

Carnitine is not actually a fat burning ingredient per se, it helps contribute to fat loss by giving you extra energy and can help you build more muscle but it isn’t a direct fat burning ingredient like Cayenne Pepper.

Unless of course you are an elderly person whereby it seems to have some fat loss benefits for that group of people.

Niacin is not particularly proven to offer any of the benefits often touted about.

On the whole, this fat burner is lacking further ingredients that are proven to stimulate fat burn.

Fat burner’s such as Instant Knockout contain 10 proven and effective ingredients, whereas this only includes five ingredients, one of those is not conclusive either and the other is under dosed to be optimal.

There’s only one ingredient included in this that can contribute to more fat loss.

Plus two ingredients that are able to directly facilitate fat loss, but that is it.

Carnitine can help provide more energy for you to hit the gym or the running track. It can also help you build more muscle and more muscle mass means more calories burned while resting.

EGCG is a good contributor to fat loss as is B6, having these two included is reassuring because they are both found in the most effective fat burner on the market.

However, this is where the similarity ends because it lacks a number of additional proven ingredients that are found in other proven fat burners.

Niacin isn’t really proven to offer any further benefits.

Therefore, if you buy this fat burner you will end up supplementing it with additional supplements.

This is because it omits proven ingredients such as:

  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Caffeine
  • Green Coffee Extract
  • Chromium
  • Zinc
  • B12
  • Glucomannan

So this will have some benefit, but it is much simpler to buy and use a product that contains all of the required ingredients rather than mixing different supplements.
