My Potent Organics Pure Garcinia Cambogia Extract Fat Burner Review

My Potent Organics Pure Garcinia Cambogia Extract Fat Burner Review First Look:

Tonight is our Christmas party at work. Not one with clients but with all of our co-workers.

As we are based a couple of hours from the location, we will fill up on booze before we get there and in continued tradition I will probably be asleep in bed by 11pm before waking up with a steaming hangover for the train journey back to work in the morning.

I will be feeding myself with fried chicken before I go as well to ensure that I have a belly full of greasy food to ensure I have a meager amount of additional staying power.

However, that staying power may allow me to stay awake an extra 3o minutes before my thirties and desire to get some sleep kicks in.

All of this booze plus fried chicken is not going to be doing me any wonders for my waist line and as I woke up during the night to let my cat out and brush my teeth I did notice that my stomach muscles have vanished!

So far I have been quite well behaved and have managed to stick to a fairly strict regime of heavy weightlifting, cycling to work and back which consists of a 14 mile round trip plus trying to eat clean (weekends not included) as well as incorporate the correct supplements such as Instant Knockout which is a fat burner that includes proven ingredients for fat reduction.

It does seem this long continued tradition of eating and drinking more around the holiday season is taking its toll though.

However, with much ado regarding Garcinia Cambogia I thought I should see what the fuss is about.

Ingredients

Calcium – Results show that training results in increased testosterone levels in athletes and that the increase is greater if accompanied by calcium supplementation.

However, calcium supplements are also known to increase artery plaque which in the long term can cause cardiovascular problems.

Read more about that, here.

Chromium –  Research suggests that chromium might improve weight loss in some people who are overweight or obese.

Potassium – An electrolyte that helps your nerves function and muscles contract.

Garcinia Cambogia – Supposedly helps people lose weight, however, trials have been unsubstantiated or at least unimpressive.

Any tests run where there has been a glimmer of hope have been in stage 1 obese people.

Dose:

2 capsules per day to be taken daily.

We prefer at least 4 pills spread out across the course of the day to ensure our body has a constant supply of ingredients to process.

The daily dose of 770.14mg is a fairly low amount overall.

In fact, this dose is no good when you consider the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

Effects & Benefits:

Potassium is an electrolyte, this can help with muscle contraction, so good if you are doing physical exercise to keep in shape.

The bottles sports drinks you see athletes drinking on TV contain electrolytes.

Garcinia may, only may offer some benefit to people who are considered stage 1 obese which is the lowest stage and the beginnings of obesity.

Calcium can help increase testosterone levels, and it is important to understand that both men and women produce natural testosterone and it is part of healthy bodily function.

Plus more testosterone does also reduce fat and the distribution of fat around the waistline.

Chromium can help towards reducing fat and is found in Instant Knockout which is the #1 rated fat burner.

Negatives:

Calcium is great to have, however, continued and long term supplementation can cause artery plaque which then leads to cardiovascular problems as the diameter of the arteries decreases in size – this is the exact opposite of what you want to happen.

Garcinia looks like it may help people within the early stages of obesity but that does rule out those who are in the later stages of obesity or aren’t actually obese but just wanting to reduce their fat levels to get that cut.

Garcinia is not entirely proven either to help raise the metabolism and burn more calories either.

Potassium is more useful in a pre workout supplement rather than a fat burner. It is not going to offer any direct fat burning effects.

As a fat burner, it is not going to be as effective as many of the other products on the market which offer a more complete ingredient profile such as Instant Knockout.

This actual Garcinia supplement is less than other one’s we have looked at in the past.

My Potent Organics Pure Garcinia Cambogia Extract Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

Garcinia does not offer the time proven studies required to show that it is effective at increasing calorie expenditure, and the only beneficial results appear to be for those with stage 1 obesity.

Calcium and Potassium have their benefits but Calcium supplementation needs to be done so with caution to avoid a build up of artery plaque which could lead to coronary heart disease and other cardiovascular illness.

Potassium does not have any direct influence over fat loss, although can assist with your workout performance.

The daily dose is not great but it is also missing other key ingredients that would really help with burning more calories such as:

  • B12
  • B6
  • Zinc
  • Magnesium
  • Glucomannan
  • Green Coffee
  • Caffeine
  • Cayenne
  • Green Tea

Therefore, some other products such as those in our top 3 fat burners are more far more attractive propositions which hold no artery risk and are laden with proven ingredients.
