My Sheer Labs Sheer Test + Testosterone Booster Review
My Sheer Labs Sheer Test + Testosterone Booster Review First Look:
I ended up being roped in to going to the gym last night by my other half.
We shared a pre workout together so we were fired up and hit the weights.
To be fair, it wasn’t such a big deal.
My gym is in the basement and beneath my living room, and, who can complain about their girlfriend wanting to hit the weights up together..?
It ended up being a perfect evening. As soon as we finished I served up roast Mediterranean vegetables with pheasant while watching her (and mine) favorite soap operas on the TV.
Call me sad, but that’s a successful Wednesday evening.
I even managed to do some shrugs and bent over rows. The girlfriend squeezed in some deadlifts.
Top compound exercises stimulate more testosterone production which is good for both men and women.
If we lose too much testosterone as we age, which is natural, we will see some negative impacts.
What this reduction in testosterone means is:
- Loss of muscle mass
- Loss of strength
- Increased risk of osteoporosis
- A change in mood and outlook on life
- Increase of fat mass
- Reduced energy levels
- Loss of libido
There are some way to combat this, and resistance training or weightlifting is helpful, particularly if compound exercises are employed, as we did last night before dinner.
It is also useful to incorporate a testosterone booster in to your regime as well.
As such, I use TestoFuel because it contains nine proven ingredients that are able to stimulate more testosterone production.
As a result I have seen some great results that would envy a younger version of myself.
I am always keen to see what other products can offer and if they can have such great effects as well.
Grape Seed Extract (Vitis Vinifera) – Grapes, or the chemicals within them, especially oligomeric proanthocyanidin complexes (OPCs), have been touted as powerful antioxidants yet in humans there is a real lack of clear evidence that there are any real benefits.
Ginkgo – This appears to help with blood flow and circulation, however, there is no real body of evidence to support these claims.
DIM (Diindolylmethane) – Diindolylmethane appears to promote a healthy balance of testosterone in the body and is found in vegetables such as broccoli.
Cruciferous vegetables which contain high levels of DIM such as broccoli are eaten by many professional athletes such as rugby league players for their benefits.
Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) – Studies have shown that treatment with Ashwagandha root extract resulted in a higher level of testosterone and a concomitant increase in serum levels of LH among infertile men having sub-optimal testosterone levels.
It’s difficult to see if the same result would be found with guys who do not have any fertility issues. So the question is, are you infertile?
If you’ve been banging your missus (or even your mistress, we shouldn’t be even talking if you have smashed your sister) unprotected and have miraculously not had a sprog you probably are infertile…sorry to break that to you, bro.
However, you are probably in look because only 12% of men throughout the whole world are infertile, and even then, that is a generous estimate by the World Health Authority.
Tongkat Ali – Eurycoma (LongJack) is a pro-fertility agent and aphrodisiac that appears to have a large body of evidence supporting this role and some evidence suggesting it may be an anti-estrogen and pro-erectile agent.
However, there is a lack of evidence for testosterone boosting in humans, although some very limited evidence in animals.
Tribulus – Once marveled, now known to have no effect on testosterone levels, by now supplement manufacturers should really let go. Avoid like a medieval plague if you are looking for muscular gainz.
It also failed to provide any benefit hen tested on a bunch of professional Australian rugby players.
Maca Root – This Peruvian strain of ginseng is great for lifting libido and mood, however, when it comes to raising testosterone levels it has no effect at all. No significant influences on testosterone in any tested demographic I’m afraid.
Boron – Boron is great for the older lifter or those doing high weight low rep work as it helps to reduce inflammation, something that is found in PrimeMale, which I am a fan of.
Also helps raise testosterone levels.
The daily dose is 3 capsules a day which is not to bad in terms of a dosing strategy..
It is recommended that we have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best testosterone booster on the market.
This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.
A daily serving is a less than impressive 1910mg.
This is quite a bit less than what is included in the better products such as Prime Male.
Effects & Benefits:
This testosterone booster includes eight ingredients.
However, only three offer some benefit toward testosterone production.
DIM actually does more to control estrogen levels rather than increase testosterone.
Ashwagandha will only be effective if you are an infertile male. If you are an infertile male, you make up less than 12% of the global male population which is a rather exclusive club.
Boron does actually help raise testosterone levels and it also decreases inflammation.
Because too much inflammation will inhibit testosterone production.
Well, the overall daily dose is quite low compared to other, more effective and proven testosterone boosters.
Then, of the eight ingredients it seems a shame that only three should offer any benefit to testosterone levels.
One of which does not increase testosterone, just helps regulate estrogen levels so they do not get too high.
Another ingredient will only be effective at stimulating more testosterone if you are an infertile male.
Which leaves just Boron; boron is able to help increase testosterone while reduce inflammation.
It is also frustrating to see the ever present Tribulus which has been proven not to actually stimulate natural testosterone levels.
However, that is a poor result considering it costs $54.99
At best only 37% of this supplement will help.
My Sheer Labs Sheer Test + Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion:
As already mentioned I use TestoFuel which includes 9 effective and proven testosterone boosting ingredients.
TestoFuel has provided some great, noticeable results:
- Strength increases
- More energy
- Increased libido
- Better mood
- Fat reduction
- More muscle mass
It also worked as an effective post cycle therapy.
Whereas, this supplement only offers one sure proven ingredient that is able to help increase natural testosterone levels in all people.
DIM is not to be overlooked due to being able to regulate estrogen levels, too much estrogen will have a negative impact on testosterone production.
However, it does not actually increase testosterone production.
Ashwagandha will only help increase testosterone levels
