SmarterWay Super Fat Burner Plus Review First Look:

Last night consisted of a little anniversary dinner and a couple of bottles of wine in a small yet brilliant French restaurant in the city that I live.

This clearly isn’t the standard behavior of someone who is looking to cut down on fat, however, is my standard behavior and I do, and I am looking to cut down my fat levels.

So what do I do and what can you do to help if you are looking to do the same and you have the same desire to eat out and drink wine?

I try to get as much exercise under my belt each week as is plausible, clearly I am not a sponsored athlete, I do not have the luxury of spending hours in the gym and get paid for it.

I also have many commitments throughout the week which limits my chances to train. I guess, I am like 95% of ordinary people juggling life.

So, I try to get the most from my limited time.

I love to cycle to work, its a 14 mile round trip and I go as fast as possible.

Forslean (Coleus forskohlii) – Forskolin is a chemical found in the roots of the plant Plectranthus barbatus.

This plant has been used since ancient times to treat heart disorders such as high blood pressure and chest pain (angina), as well as respiratory disorders such as asthma, it can also assist with reducing fat mass in obese people.

However, no reliable scientific information that shows Coleus forskohlii extracts taken by mouth are effective.

Caffeine – This can assist with endurance, tested athletes saw an edge from caffeine in scientific studies. In some trials, the stimulant boosted athletes’ speed. In others, it helped them last longer before they spent all their energy.

Dose:

Up to 6 capsules per day to be taken as two three times daily.

This is good as we prefer at least 4 pills spread out across the course of the day to ensure our body has a constant supply of ingredients to process.

The daily dose of 4620mg is a solid amount.

In fact, this dose is good when you consider the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

Effects & Benefits:

Caffeine is included in Instant Knockout which is reassuring to see because it is an effective fat burning ingredient.

This is certainly the same for Green Tea too which is a popular and proven fat burning ingredient.

Garcinia may, only may offer some benefit to people who are considered stage 1 obese. Stage 1 is the least worse stage of the 3.

Potassium is an odd addition and more commonly found in pre workout supplements due to its positive effects on muscle function.

I often cramp up playing rugby if I do not have enough potassium so ensure I have a banana beforehand or have a pre workout supplement which includes it such as 4 GAUGE.

Negatives:

The problem here is that while Caffeine and Green Tea are conclusively proven ingredients known to stimulate extra calorie expenditure Garcinia is far from conclusive nor beneficial for everyone.

Then we have Potassium which is a great addition but not exactly necessary in this situation. I would much rather have a proven fat burning ingredient such as B12.

We also have the inclusion of Coleus Forskholli which is not proven to increase metabolism or have any fat burning benefits.

It certainly does not offer the fat burning performance we want nor is available in other fat burning supplements such as Instant Knockout.

SmarterWay Super Fat Burner Plus Review Conclusion:

There’s nothing really positive nor notable about the performance of this supplement apart from just a couple of ingredients.

The daily dose is high, however, that doesn’t matter when there’s a real lack of effective ingredients.

Garcinia does not offer the proven studies required to show that it is effective at increasing calorie expenditure.

Coleus doesn’t offer any benefits at all really and while it is good to have Potassium it isn’t going to help us strip fat.

The daily dose is high but it is missing other key ingredients that would really help with burning more calories such as:

  • B12
  • B6
  • Zinc
  • Magnesium
  • Glucomannan
  • Chromium
  • Green Coffee
  • Cayenne

Therefore, some other products such as those in our top 3 fat burners are more far more attractive propositions.
