My Vein Nutrition Veinquish Fat Burner Review
My Vein Nutrition Veinquish Fat Burner Review First Look:
I am about to cycle home. A 7 mile journey that I relish.
It is a fairly quick and flat path home alongside a river with only flies and joggers to contend with.
However, once I am about half a mile away from home I hit a steep hill and a busy road full with traffic, this is the worst part of the ride home but also the most satisfying too.
It helps reduce fat mass and builds up my calf muscles, let alone my endurance which can be good not only for cycling but other cardiovascular activity…unless of course I embarrass myself and last 2 minutes.
This is especially important today as I need to burn off some crap that I have eaten.
Without a proper lunchtime meal in me and just lots of bread with chocolate I am particularly keen to cycle hard and hit the weights once I am home.
Then it’s a quick drive to Home Depot to pick up some chairs for the girlfriends kitchen.
I normally eat a bit more healthily and considered, especially as my choice of fat burner is carefully considered.
This looks like a good quality product from an initial glance and is the first product I am come across from Vein Nutrition.
Therefore, it will be interesting to see how this will work especially when compared to Instant Knockout which I use on a regular basis with great results.
Forslean (Coleus forskohlii) – Forskolin is a chemical found in the roots of the plant Plectranthus barbatus.
This plant has been used since ancient times to treat heart disorders such as high blood pressure and chest pain (angina), as well as respiratory disorders such as asthma, it can also assist with reducing fat mass in obese people.
However, no reliable scientific information that shows Coleus forskohlii extracts taken by mouth are effective.
Seaweed (Fucoxanthin, Undaria Pinnatifida) – There’s reasons to believe there are many health related benefits by supplementing Fucoxanthin which is also known as seaweed, however, the bio-availability in humans is low.
Yet, over a period of 16 weeks 5mg per day may help fat loss.
7-Keto DHEA – This is nonhormonal, and it appears to be a fat loss agent as it may increase the metabolic rate.
However, while studies in humans do look to be positive they are not entirely conclusive.
As far as it is currently known, doses of 400mg are probably optimal.
You can read more here.
Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) – Studies have shown that treatment with Ashwagandha root extract resulted in a higher level of testosterone and a concomitant increase in serum levels of LH among infertile men having sub-optimal testosterone levels.
It’s difficult to see if the same result would be found with guys who do not have any fertility issues. So the question is, are you infertile?
If you’ve been banging your missus (or even your mistress, we shouldn’t be even talking if you have smashed your sister) unprotected and have miraculously not had a sprog you probably are infertile…sorry to break that to you, bro.
However, you are probably in look because only 12% of men throughout the whole world are infertile, and even then, that is a generous estimate by the World Health Authority.
Caralluma (Cactus) – Chemicals taken from the plant (extract) is used to decrease appetite for weight loss. It is also used to quench thirst and to increase endurance.
Although studies suggest that you may decrease in size when taking Caralluma for 60 days or more weight loss nor body fat percentages decrease.
5-HTP (Griffonia)– This chemical increases the synthesis of serotonin which helps against insomnia, binge eating and helps with your mood and well being.
Anyone who is or used to go clubbing to house music will know a thing or two about serotonin!
BioPerine (Piper nigrum) – The extract of piperine, called BioPerine® in the patented form, has been clinically tested in the United States.
BioPerine® significantly enhances the bioavailability of various supplement nutrients through increased absorption.
Up to 2 pills twice per day.
This would equate up to 2280mg daily.
This dose is not too bad considering the best fat burners tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.
Effects & Benefits:
This is a bit lackluster.
If we are looking for direct fat burning ingredients the best it can muster is Fucoxanthin, which appears to reduce fat mass over a period of 16 weeks.
7-Keto appears to be making the right noises but it is a bit inconclusive.
Apart from those two ingredients which show the most promise, this is lacking any fat burning ingredients.
Even with that in mind, Fucoxanthin and 7-Keto are hardly ground breaking or offer solid proof that they can reduce fat mass.
Ashwagandha may increase testosterone levels which in turn can reduce fat, however, for this to be effective you must be an infertile male.
This niche of people make up for just 12% of the global male population.
My Vein Nutrition Veinquish Fat Burner Review Conclusion:
So, this may offer two beneficial ingredients that may help reduce fat mass.
So at best, this fat burner offers unsubstantiated ingredients.
At worse, it offers nothing proven.
It may also help towards increasing testosterone levels if you are an infertile male…
I am really starting to wonder where the benefits are with this product, especially when it is compared to the effective fat burners on offer.
