Vitamin Bounty Forskolin Max Strength Fat Burner Review

Vitamin Bounty Forskolin Max Strength Fat Burner Review First Look:

I am saving myself for tonight.

I have a rugby game to play tomorrow and I do not want to ruin my first game back on the field in 6 months by being hungover and feeling out of sort.

Hence why I have been intensely hitting the weights and cardio by cycling to and from work most days, except today of course because I did drink last night.

Hopefully with all of this extra training I will be in good shape for the game and not feel quite as destroyed after the game, or even during it when I generally feel like I am going to die.

I have noticed a fat reduction and I feel ‘better’ and less out of breath when taking on staircases at work so things are looking positive so far.

I put this down to eating better during the week, the aforementioned weight sessions and the cycling but also because I supplement with a fat burner.

I have found Instant Knockout to offer the best results and as a result use that daily.

Therefore, seeing this fat burner from Vitamin Bounty I was interested to see how it may perform and compare with what I have identified as the best.

Ingredients: The Science

Forslean (Coleus forskohlii)

Forskolin is a chemical found in the roots of the plant Plectranthus barbatus.

This plant has been used since ancient times to treat heart disorders such as high blood pressure and chest pain (angina), as well as respiratory disorders such as asthma, it can also assist with reducing fat mass in obese people.

However, no reliable scientific information that shows Coleus forskohlii extracts taken by mouth are effective.

Dose:

Up to 2 capsules per day to be taken.

This is not particularly good as we prefer at least 4 pills spread out across the course of the day to ensure our body has a constant supply of ingredients to process.

The daily dose of 500mg is a low daily amount.

In fact, this dose is terrible when you consider the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

Pros:

Ummmm…I guess there’s not a great deal to say here unless go by what the ye old ancient folklore suggests.

However, ye old ancient folklore is not to be relied upon.

Cons:

Coleus Forskolin is far from conclusive nor beneficial.

Plus the dosing strategy is not optimal and nor is the amount for received for the daily dose.

At $19.99 for a small amount of just one ingredient that is not conclusively proven to alter fat mass seems like $19.99 too much.

Then it omits a large number of ingredients that should be included in a fat burner such as:

  • B12
  • B6
  • Zinc
  • Magnesium
  • Glucomannan
  • Green Coffee
  • Cayenne
  • Green Tea
  • Caffeine
  • Chromium

It certainly does not offer the fat burning performance we want nor is available in other fat burning supplements such as Instant Knockout.

Vitamin Bounty Forskolin Max Strength Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

This offers a really low daily dose and no effective ingredient that is proven to help stimulate fat burn.

Unfortunately it also misses out on vital key ingredients that are proven to be effective in raising the metabolic rate which will then burn more calories.

So the reason behind producing a singular ingredient fat burner without a single proven fat burning ingredient is somewhat surprising.

With all of this in mind it is increasingly difficult to understand why this would be bought by anyone looking to shed fat.

Therefore, some other products such as those in our top 3 fat burners are more far more attractive propositions.
