Caffeine – This can assist with endurance, tested athletes saw an edge from caffeine in scientific studies. In some trials, the stimulant boosted athletes’ speed. In others, it helped them last longer before they spent all their energy.

It is also used for stress, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS).

Acetyl Tyrosine is a more soluble form of tyrosine.

Hordenine – Technically Hordenine can be used as a stimulant and fat burner due to its associated with tyramine and noradrenaline, but not enough evidence exists currently to support its usage as nutritional supplementation.

Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium) – At present, Citrus aurantium may be the best thermogenic substitute for ephedra. However, more studies are needed to establish this definitively.

Bitter orange is possibly unsafe when taken as a supplement for a medical purpose such as weight loss.

Bitter orange, particularly when taken with stimulants such as caffeine or caffeine-containing herbs, increases the risk for high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack, stroke, and other severe side effects.

There are reports that bitter orange can trigger headaches, including migraine and cluster headaches, in some people.

Bitter orange can cause sensitivity to the sun. Wear sunblock outside, especially if you are light-skinned.

Phenylethylamine hcl – Used for treating depression and increasing athletic performance. No evidence to substantiate these claims.

Limited supplemental usage due to being rapidly broken down into inactive components.

This is much less than other effective pre workouts that will offer in excess of 10g.

If we look at this as a pre workout, there are 6 beneficial ingredients, these include:

  • Tyrosine
  • Caffeine
  • Sodium
  • Potassium

Then if we look at it in a fat burning perspective there is just the 1 beneficial ingredient:

  • Caffeine

Calcium and Magnesium are both great for preserving and increasing testosterone levels which will help overall athletic performance and keeping fat levels in check.


This is not a large dose. Many pre workouts are in excess of 10g and can even exceed 20g.

Then it also consists of a proprietary blend which means that certain elements of the ingredient profile are concealed.

Then Citrus Aurantium is included that can both increase fat loss and athletic performance but also have some potentially nasty side effects.

Plus, there are 5 ingredients that have not proof to substantiate the claims of their effectiveness.

When you consider there are 12 different ingredients included that is a bad figure which ever way it is looked at.

This is much more of a pre workout rather than a fat burner, all the same there are several beneficial ingredients that can help improve athletic performance and 1 that can have a positive effect on fat mass.

Yet, there are 5 ingredients that have no effect whatsoever if the science is to be believed.

Therefore, overall it is not particularly an effective nor beneficial supplement.

Not when you can get a very good pre workout, here.
