My AST DHEA 100 Hormone Optimizer Review
My AST DHEA 100 Hormone Optimizer Review First Look:
I am doing some weights tonight at home after work.
Thursday nights are usually spent cooking dinner and having a glass of (red) wine with the girlfriend
However, said lady has a work event until late so this gives me an opportunity to ease my way back in to some deadlifts tonight and see how my thigh holds up since laying rugby and injuring myself after approximately one minute.
Therefore as ever, I like to ensure that I can get the most from my workouts, therefore I always ensure that I am performing the movements which product the most testosterone secretion such as the deadlift, bench press, shoulder press etc.
These are known as compound lifts and offer the most bang for you buck in terms of strength and muscle building results.
I also ensure that I am taking a beneficial and effective testosterone booster to stimulate the most testosterone production too.
This supplement from AST is supposed to increase insulin growth hormone factor secretion which has anabolic effects in adults.
Anabolic effects should increase muscle mass and regulate fat levels too.
What is DHEA?
Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a hormone produced by the body’s adrenal glands. The body uses DHEA to make androgens and estrogens, the male and female sex hormones.
DHEA levels peak at about age 25, then go down steadily as you get older. By the time people are 70 to 80 years old, their DHEA levels are only 10% to 20% those in young adults.
However, there is little evidence to show that DHEA has any effect on enhancing muscle strength.
Up to 2 pills per day.
This offers 200mg per day with that recommended dose.
To get the best from supplements it is usually best to spread the dose out over the course of the day to ensure that your body receives a steady trickle of the ingredients to utilize.
DHEA is strangely banned by a number of sporting organizations and bodies.
However, the research in to DHEA has not been able to prove that it has any positive effect on performance.
That means there is no real, confirmed or conclusive benefit to taking a DHEA supplement.
With no legitimate proof available from studies to show that DHEA can improve performance or to offer any other benefits from the myriad of problems including obesity and even schizophrenia it just does not seem like a product that will offer any value whatsoever.
Another issue is that many of the products available on the market that have been tested do not have the amount of DHEA in them that the label states.
My AST DHEA 100 Hormone Optimizer Review Conclusion:
This is a product with one stand alone ingredient.
Yet, this sole ingredient is not proven to offer any benefit whatsoever.
This leaves us with a product that does nothing to improve performance.
If you are looking to increase your natural levels of testosterone which is your naturally produced steroid hormone, you need to look at using a testosterone booster.
A beneficial and effective testosterone booster contains a wealth of proven natural ingredients that can increase natural testosterone production.
Ingredients such as:
- Vitamin D3
- D-Aspartic Acid
It is these ingredients, in adequate doses that will help your body grow and develop.
