BPI Sports 24/7 Burn Fat Burner Review
BPI Sports 24/7 Burn Fat Burner Review First Look:
Not only have I had one, but I have had two bars of chocolate today.
For some reason, I just cannot seem to stop eating, it’s not like I have not had a decent breakfast or lunch. I was full and both meals consisted of whole, healthy foods.
Sometimes I just think that after the weekend and if you have been boozing at all your body just requires some sugar.
That said, I was only drinking on the Friday night and it is now rapidly approaching the evening on Monday.
However, too much of this lavish and decadent lifestyle can turn anyone in to a fat bastard.
That’s why I will pedal hard and fast on my bike later and hit some deadlifts.
I want to keep my fat levels in check otherwise i’ll not look good for Mexico in…ahem…7 months time.
So with all of this fear in mind and before I end up eating another chocolate bar uncontrollably lets look at this fat burner from BPI Sports in closer detail.
Let’s see if it has the minerals to be a winner like Instant Knockout which I use regularly to keep me trim and allow my abs to be visible.
Safflower Extract – Possibly effective for lowering cholesterol but there’s very little evidence to substantiate any other claims.
Avocado – Avocados (they’re a berry) are high in fat. But it’s monounsaturated fat, which is a “good” fat that helps lower bad cholesterol, as long as you eat them in moderation.
They also promote sexual desire and hair growth…
Coconut – MCT-rich coconut oil can temporarily boost your metabolism and has fewer calories than other fats.
However, you need to trade all of the unhealthier fats with coconut for any benefit, it is no good just having coconut as an addition because that’s just extra calories. So, useful for cooking, but for supplementing you diet? No!
Conjugated Linolenic Acid (CLA) – Initial reports and studies of CLA have showed that it helped a bunch of women who did no exercise lose 9% body fat.
However, further studies are showing very mixed, if not medicore results that aren’t really setting the world alight, in fact the side effects are having their presence felt moreso outweighing any real benefits.
Any benefits that were found meant that the composition had to be greater than 80%.
Green Tea – well known to have many powerful health benefits. Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat.
One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese.
Some researchers think that substances in green tea known as catechins are responsible for the herb’s fat-burning effect. Green tea extract is found in many a good fat burning supplement.
Garcinia Cambogia – Supposedly helps people lose weight, however, trials have been unsubstantiated or at least unimpressive.
Any tests run where there has been a glimmer of hope have been in stage 1 obese people.
White Leadwort (Plumbago zeylanica or Chitrak) – Has significant antioxidant abilities that may possibly explain some of the reported therapeutic effects.
Caralluma (Cactus) – Chemicals taken from the plant (extract) is used to decrease appetite for weight loss. It is also used to quench thirst and to increase endurance.
Although studies suggest that you may decrease in size when taking Caralluma for 60 days or more weight loss nor body fat percentages decrease.
3 capsules per day.
The daily dose of 1750mg is not a great amount of combined ingredients.
In fact, this dose is not brilliant when you consider that the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.
Effects & Benefits:
There is just 1 ingredient included that has concrete evidence to help with fat loss.
That is a poor number of ingredients, considering there are 8 ingredients included.
It is reassuring to see Green Tea included.
This ingredient is found in the best fat burner, Instant Knockout.
Garcinia only seems to offer any hope in people who are stage 1 obese. This means that they are in the initial stages of obesity.
However, this is not absolute concrete. It only seems to offer any sort of hope for stage 1 obese but no guaranteed.
CLA is another ingredient that we cannot nail down exactly.
It has offered some amazing, in fact truly astounding results but then it seems to have been extremely difficult to replicate this performance.
Therefore, it has almost had a stroke of luck once but only once…
Again, nothing concrete.
There is just one ingredient here that offers fat burning capacity that is tried, tested and proven.
There’s also a proprietary blend…
Using a proprietary blend means that the manufacturer can literally conceal the amount of each included ingredient.
Therefore it simply could include just trace amounts of each ingredient with lots of bulking agent to minimize costs.
Also consider that this is completely legal…
Then, of the 8 ingredients, 1 is proven to offer fat burning benefits.
The rest can either help with cholesterol levels which is good or antioxidant effects but that is not fat burning…and this is marketed as a fat burner after all…
BPI Sports 24/7 Burn Fat Burner Review Conclusion:
Shockingly there’s only 1 ingredient from the 8 that is proven to help with fat burn.
That means seven eighths of this will not really contribute to what we are buying this supplement for.
Not only that, there’s a proprietary blend which conceals the exact breakdown of ingredients. We could only be getting trace amounts of these nutrients which is terrible, or at least it would be terrible if they were all beneficial ingredients.
Therefore, some other products such as those in our top 3 fat burners are more far more attractive propositions.
