My MD Science MAX TESTOSTERONE Review First Look:

I’m travelling just under 15,000 miles tomorrow morning which is going to take about 23 hours to see my Aussie mate get married.

I am also looking forward to a bit of vitamin D.

While it is currently dry at present in my city, the fast moving clouds do not allow a great deal of sunshine to break through and dusk is setting in slowly but surely.

I take a D3 supplement daily to ensure I get the benefits but there is nothing like that warmth of the suns rays and uninterrupted blue skies, not least for someone who lives in a region of what consists mainly overcast weather combined with lots of fake tan.

This can be a bit depressing and sometimes when you are looking at social media with people constantly training outside in the nice weather it makes my cycling commute in rain and wind that little bit harder to digest.

Of course once you get home, the last thing you want to do is then head out again to go to the gym.

It can just sometimes take the pleasure out of it and make it a bit more difficult to motivate yourself.

So that’s why, it is always helpful to find a supplement that can at least maximize your efforts, especially when you occasionally break your regime or cycle.

So, to help me along I have been having trying different natural test boosters to maximize my muscular gains, but also make me feel better overall.

A natural testosterone booster helps increase and restore your natural levels of T.

These supplements are very different to anabolic steroids or prohormones, you can read a bit more about my experiences, here.

Now, we could go in to significant depth about the differences between natural testosterone boosters, however, let’s keep it short and succinct so you get the basics and then you will have a greater understanding of how each work differently.

A natural test booster comprises a number of vitamins and minerals that can increase your natural testosterone production.

For example, if you do not fuel your body with enough food to build muscle, it won’t grow adequately.

If you do not provide your body with the right nutrients to produce testosterone, it won’t produce a great deal of that either.

Every living tissue requires the nutrients to grow, repair and function.

Just like a regular gas engine car needs fuel, a spark and air to run the engine and turn the wheels; you’re body works on similar principles.

There are literally thousands of natural testosterone boosters available to buy, however, not all natural test boosters are equal.

An effective test booster must include a plethora of proven and natural ingredients for it to be beneficial.

These ingredients can be found in many foods, however, getting the amounts we need every day to maintain optimal testosterone levels can be difficult.

As much as most of us would like to be a professional athlete with the opportunity to eat raw broccoli daily and chicken breast, it is just not as likely to happen with the average 9-5 job and family life.

So, supplements offer a convenient way to get all of the nutrients that we need to ensure we can maintain an optimal natural hormone level that can offer us the benefits of a higher quality of life.

However, it is important to ensure the testosterone booster you are buying contains a plethora or proven ingredients based on studies, not just folk lore or anecdotal evidence passed down gym conversations over the past five decades.

Not all natural testosterone boosters include anti-estrogen compounds, but rather, they prefer to maximize testosterone levels and include more T boosting ingredients to provide a sledge hammer effect at re-addressing that hormone balance.

However, some of the best testosterone boosters do include ingredients that are proven to reduce estrogen levels and increase testosterone.


What’s the science behind natural T-boosters?

If we take the principles just mentioned and elaborate further, there are reputable studies for many ingredients from respected sources that prove natural testosterone levels  can be increased when these ingredients are consumed.

These ingredients are not synthetic, either…

We are talking about vitamins such as Vitamin C or Vitamin D.

Mineral such as Magnesium or Zinc are also proven to stimulate more testosterone, and, studies show that if you are lacking these nutrients, you’re testosterone levels are likely to be low.

What an effective natural testosterone booster does is take a variety of proven ingredients, put them together generally in a pill in the amounts required for the most benefit and provide it to you in a convenient package.


Ingredients: The Studies

Cnidium Monnieri – This is a herb and is said to have similar properties as Viagra for erectile dysfunction.

Once implicated in increasing testosterone, as well as luteinizing hormone and FSH, in male castrated rats over 20 days. It has not been investigated further than this.

Selenium – No conclusive proof even when supplemented with Zinc that selenium increases testosterone levels.

Horny Goat Weed – Epimedium, the suspected active component of horny goat weed, appears to act as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, similar to some drugs used for erectile dysfunction.

It does not, however, stimulate testosterone production.

Ginkgo – This appears to help with blood flow and circulation, however, there is no real body of evidence to support these claims.

Avena Sativa (Oat) – This is a type of oat that has been seen to raise luteinzing hormones in the body, which are a precursor to testosterone and growth hormone.

Not a great deal of real, heavy evidence if anything at all but the hallmarks of something good are there.

A bit of a gamble. In plenty of T-Boosters that do not work.

Magnesium – Research into magnesium supplementation also increased testosterone production in men.

Longjack (Eurycoma Longifolia, TongKat Ali) – Is a pro-fertility agent and aphrodisiac that appears to have a large body of evidence supporting this role and some evidence suggesting it may be an anti-estrogen and pro-erectile agent.

Although there’s some research to suggest it may increase testosterone levels in animals and humans it is pretty lackluster which doesn’t bode too well.

L-Arginine – This is found in many pre workout supplements or products designed to make you more vascular.

L-Arginine opens up the blood vessels and arteries to assist with blood flow, nothing really to do with testosterone but may assist with any impotency issues that are not helping you attain that hot chick in the gym who is 15 years your junior.

However, you will require 5g per day alone!

Zinc – An aphrodisiac and Testosterone Booster.

Zinc is also very important for the functioning of the enzyme, hormone, and immune systems.In very high doses, zinc can act as an aromatase inhibitor and reduce estrogen levels.

It is also a potent antioxidant and can provide benefits for prostate issues.

Tribulus – Once again, the old tribulus raises its ugly head.

The problem is that because this has been touted about for so long as a bit of a miracle plant extract used by the mysterious Eastern Bloc Olympic Athletes during the Cold War people have started to believe the hype and it is an easily recognizable ingredient the ill informed will have heard about down the gym.

The issue is that it has not been scientifically proven to raise testosterone levels in any shape or form.

In fact, in studies using elite professional Australian rugby players as participants Tribulus did not produce the large gains in strength or lean muscle mass that many manufacturers claim can be experienced.

Avoid like a medieval plague if you are looking for muscular gainz.

Dose:

Two tablets daily.

We would recommend that you have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best testosterone booster on the market.

This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and less peaks or troughs.

Each daily servings consists of 1515.05mg which is about 50% of the better test boosters.


Pros:

This supplement that is supposed to offer MAXimum benefits only provides us with two ingredients known to stimulate testosterone.

That is quite disappointing…

That is not to say there are no other beneficial ingredients, but they are the only ingredients present in this supplement that can help towards stimulating more testosterone production.

This doesn’t seem particularly ‘max’ at all.

Cnidium offers interesting results, but it seems the tests and study only lasted 20 days using rats rather than human subjects. However, the preliminary results did seem positive.

It is a shame there’s no further evidence or information for it.

Arginine does help increase blood flow but it needs a large 5000mg to be effective and that is more than all of these ingredients combined.


Cons:

The overall daily dose is not particularly strong and this consists of a proprietary blend.

There are also six ingredients from a total of ten that offer no proven benefit to increasing testosterone levels or athletic performance.

In some cases we find that these test boosters include ingredients that are there to mimic the effects of an increased level of testosterone but this doesn’t even offer that.

That means 60% of this product is not effective nor beneficial in anyway.

Then, an ingredient that could of at least provided the benefits of increased blood flow is dosed too low to be effective anyway.

This would be better if it was called MIN TESTOSTERONE because there’s going to be minimal effects associated with this.


My MD Science MAX TESTOSTERONE Review Conclusion:

This is a very disappointing offering. Especially as it alludes to the fact that it offers MAXIMUM results.

The reality is that it barely offers any benefit at all!

I have mentioned before that some other test boosters just pile the product high with ingredients that mimic the effects of a higher level of natural T.

That’s naughty in itself. Yet this doesn’t even provide that.

Plus this does consist of a secretive proprietary blend which means we have no idea of the exact breakdown per included ingredient.

This is completely legal but means that we could just be taking a supplement that consists more of filler and bulking agent rather than the ingredients listed.

Then there’s only two reliable and ultimately proven ingredients able to help with stimulating more natural test while omitting some of the most effective ingredients.

This product needs the additional required ingredients that are clinically proven to increase testosterone levels such as:

  • DAA
  • K2
  • Vitamin C
  • Oyster
  • Ginseng
  • D3
  • B12
  • B6
  • Fenugreek
