Pure Giant Testosterone Plus Testosterone Booster Review
Pure Giant Testosterone Plus Testosterone Booster Review First Look:
With a lack of real weightlifting being completed this week I need to smash the gym up hard tonight.
This week has consisted of dinner out and a few drinks plus visiting my parents, so not much gym time has happened.
While it is only a week, the nagging feeling in your mind is that we are losing all of our gainz. This isn’t really the case, but I am keen to get back on it tonight and show that iron who is boss.
I also want to maximize my efforts too, steroids are great, but there can be a real dependence, plus long term health issues not to mention the state of legality depending where you live.
Not only that, it can leave you with a limp dick once your cycle has finished. Yes, this happens, and it happened to me very recently which played on my mind for ages.
Not only a limp dick, you can also lose the strength you built up, therefore it is useful to take a natural testosterone booster once a cycle has been complete to kick start your natural production.
Steroids or not, a solid, well performing testosterone booster is a quite way to compliment your workouts, that is, based on the notion that the test booster is effective and includes a wealth of proven ingredients that have scientific studies to back up the claims.
Horny Goat Weed – Epimedium, the suspected active component of horny goat weed, appears to act as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, similar to some drugs used for erectile dysfunction.
It does not, however, stimulate testosterone production.
Chrysin – Laboratory research suggests that chrysin might increase testosterone, but research in humans hasn’t found any effect on testosterone levels.
The amount of chrysin that is absorbed from the intestine may be very small, which would make the effects unlikely.
Cissus Quadrangularis – Due to the ability of cissus quadrangularis to act as a glucocorticoid antagonist, it has been proposed to possess anabolic activity; no studies have yet addressed this topic.
Anecdotes of cissus seem to precede much of the science on the topic.
Hawthorn Berries – At best this ingredient may help with reducing inflammation and blood flow but there’s no concrete evidence to be found regarding increasing testosterone levels.
Every article relating to testosterone increases with Hawthorn berries is on a site wanting you to buy them.
Saw Palmetto – this fatty acid was long touted to help boost testosterone levels, but those claims turned out to be false.
It is effective in suppressing prostate growth though. So could help if you are taking steroids or Prohormones.
Tribulus – Once again, the old tribulus raises its ugly head.
The problem is that because this has been touted about for so long as a bit of a miracle plant extract used by the mysterious Eastern Bloc Olympic Athletes during the Cold War people have started to believe the hype and it is an easily recognizable ingredient the ill informed will have heard about down gym.
The issue is that it has not been scientifically proven to raise testosterone levels in any shape or form.
In fact, in studies using elite professional Australian rugby players as participants Tribulus did not produce the large gains in strength or lean muscle mass that many manufacturers claim can be experienced.
Avoid like a medieval plague if you are looking for muscular gainz.
Longjack (Eurycoma Longifolia, TongKat Ali) – Is a pro-fertility agent and aphrodisiac that appears to have a large body of evidence supporting this role and some evidence suggesting it may be an anti-estrogen and pro-erectile agent.
Although there’s some research to suggest it may increase testosterone levels in animals and humans it is pretty lackluster which doesn’t bode too well.
Magnesium – Research into magnesium supplementation also increased testosterone production in men.
Zinc – An aphrodisiac and Testosterone Booster.
Zinc is also very important for the functioning of the enzyme, hormone, and immune systems. In very high doses, zinc can act as an aromatase inhibitor and reduce estrogen levels.
It is also a potent antioxidant and can provide benefits for prostate issues.
We are instructed to take 3 pills, however, this is just before bedtime rather than throughout the day.
It is better to have at least 4 pills and for them to be taken over the course of the day to ensure that your body gets a trickle of the nutrients to work with.
The 3 pills only provide 1305mg per day which is not particularly adequate nor competitive.
When you consider that the best testosterone boosters offer nearly 3 times that figure this is starting to look a little low rent.
Effects & Benefits:
The effective ingredients in this test booster only amount for 22% of the combined profile.
This equates to just 2 ingredients which can help stimulate testosterone production. This, quite frankly, is a shambolic effort from Pure Giant who appear to have rolled out a pure waste of time.
Therefore, while it is a relief to see Magnesium and Zinc as are often so present in the best testosterone boosters, to just have these two ingredients present is not exactly optimal.
You may have felt my distaste at just 2 ingredients offer benefit to increase testosterone levels.
Zinc and Magnesium combined make up just 230mg of the total 1305mg. This is a really low amount percentage and a low amount full stop, especially when you consider that many ZMA products would contain 450mg of Magnesium alone and a ZMA forms the basis of a solid test booster.
Plus the overall daily dose is very low, the dosing strategy is not optimal either having all the pills just before bedtime which will give us everything and then leave us with prolonged periods of nothing.
As you may have noticed, Tribulus manages to sneak its way in to this product as well.
This always baffles me considering it has never been proven to help build muscle mass or strength, yet, it has definitely been proven not to build muscle mass and strength.
This is also $49.99 which isn’t throw away money considering it is just best to throw it in the trash.
Pure Giant Testosterone Plus Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion:
So it offers just 2 proven ingredients, yet in low doses.
Not only does it omit excellent, effective and proven ingredients often found in supplements such as TestoFuel it also lack the high dose and enough pills to make it beneficial.
Effective testosterone boosters should include:
However, while this test booster is awash with ingredients, none of the above which are proven to stimulate testosterone production are not included.
Instead of wasting your money on this, take a look at what I have found to be personally and scientifically effective instead.
