REPP SPORTS R-PCT Testosterone Booster Review // Where Are My Balls?

REPP SPORTS R-PCT Testosterone Booster Review // Where Are My Balls?

REPP SPORTS R-PCT Testosterone Booster First Look:

I’ve not taken any steroids or prohormones for a while now. The last time was just prior to a trip away to Thailand.

Yet, when I was over there I experienced what I would consider my first proper issue of post cycle shut down.

It’s not that pleasant, not in a painful way or anything like that but you just seem to lose energy or any desire to masturbate like a terrier on heat. It lasts for about 3 weeks to a month as well.

It is a process that when you provide your body with synthetic hormones your body recognizes that it does not need to produce any, so it stops.

The thing is, sometimes you don’t really notice it until it has passed, then you’re like,”fuck, I thought I wasn’t feeling normal!”

So, if you want your normal self back after a cycle, you need something to trigger your bod into producing its own testosterone and get you back to your normal, deviant self again.

Now, this can be either in the shape of a natural testosterone booster or the commonly named PCT (Post Cycle Therapy). To be honest, they’re pretty much the same thing.

Okay, a PCT product may contain ingredients to help with liver recovery or prostate but so do normal testosterone boosters, it’s purely marketing at work.

The trick is to find an effective one. Just because it says PCT on the tin it doesn’t mean it is effective or anymore effective than a normal testosterone booster supplement.

That’s where my sorry, guinea pig ass come in.

Yet, this packaging does look kinda cool. I’m not in to aggressive looking, dangerous styled graphics and this does look like a some sort of canister of doom found in the game Doom but it is bright, a bit lairy and stands out form the crowd.

It doesn’t necessarily offer any sort of confidence it will work though.

Ingredients: The Science

Vitamin D3 – Vitamin D is a great Testosterone boosting vitamin that must be taken advantage of to trigger further production of Testosterone in your body.

However, there are two types of Vitamin D. There’s calciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) – we are only interested in cholecalciferol which is D3; this is the type our skin synthesizes from the sun and becomes a hormone which results in the increases in our testosterone.

Research by the US Library of Medicine has shown that testosterone productions are increased with Vitamin D3 supplementation.

Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) – Studies have shown that treatment with Ashwagandha root extract resulted in a higher level of testosterone and a concomitant increase in serum levels of LH among infertile men having sub-optimal testosterone levels.

It’s difficult to see if the same result would be found with guys who do not have any fertility issues. So the question is, are you infertile?

If you’ve been banging your missus (or even your mistress, we shouldn’t be even talking if you have smashed your sister) unprotected and have miraculously not had a sprog you probably are infertile…sorry to break that to you, bro.

Velvet Bean (Macuna Pruriens) – This is actually good for treating people with Parkinsons. There’s a mixed bag of results for testosterone but look mainly positive. Results have shown an increase in testosterone levels in infertile men, however, results are very limited for fertile men.

It is effective to reduce cortisol levels – high stress levels can harm testosterone production.

DIM (Diindolylmethane) – Diindolylmethane appears to promote a healthy balance of testosterone in the body and is found in vegetables such as broccoli.

Coleus forskohlii – Forskolin is a chemical found in the roots of the plant Plectranthus barbatus.

This plant has been used since ancient times to treat heart disorders such as high blood pressure and chest pain (angina), as well as respiratory disorders such as asthma, it can also assist with reducing fat mass in obese people.

However, no reliable scientific information that shows Coleus forskohlii extracts taken by mouth are effective.

5 alpha Hydroxy Laxogenin – 5-Hydroxy Laxogenin was discovered by an American scientist in 1996.

It was shown to possess an anabolic/androgenic ratio similar to one of the most efficient anabolic substances, in particular Anavar but without the side effects of liver toxicity or testing positive for steroidal therapy.

Until now there’s only one animal study about the function of 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin. This is an old Russian research.

It is shown that 6-ketoderivatives of natural sapogenins display the anabolic activity and do not manifest any androgenic properties.

The compound 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin produces an accelerated gain of weight in rats, and also an increase in the weight of the liver, heart, kidneys.

However, I can find no credible studies or journals on the subject.

BioPerine (Piper nigrum)The extract of piperine, called BioPerine®  in the patented form, has been clinically tested in the United States.

BioPerine®  significantly enhances the bioavailability of various supplement nutrients through increased absorption.

Arimistane (Androst 3,5-dien-7, 17-dione) – Theoretically may be able to increase testosterone levels. However, as no human or animal interventions have been conducted with Androsta-3,5-diene-7,17-dione we don’t actually know.

L-Cysteine – Great for people with liver, heart and kidney problems but no evidence for boosting testosterone.

Dose:

This is a low overall dose and we are directed to only take up to 2 tablets daily.

This dose of 2 tablets amounts to 1230.125mg. Which is not competitive with other products that we have tried and rated.

We think it is better to continually supply your body with the nutrients required to stimulate more testosterone production, as such 4 tablets spread throughout the day is better advised.

Pros:

There’s 6 ingredients that have benefits, however 2 of those can only offer a potential level of use. It basically depends if you are infertile or not.

If you are, you benefit from all 6, if not, just the 4.

Then 2 of the remaining 4 are not exactly testosterone stimulating anyway.

1 helps the absorption of all the ingredients and the other 1 helps people with kidney, liver and heart problems which kind of preempts the issues you may face if you are a habitual steroid user.

So we are left with 2 proven ingredients which will help with stimulating testosterone whether you are infertile or not.

Is that as clear as mud?

Basically, if you are infertile, have liver, heart and kidney problems you will benefit the most from this.

Cons:

What  is your main concern post cycle? Increasing your natural levels of testosterone.

Healthy levels of testosterone bring a lot of health benefits, not just bigger and stronger muscle. However, you do not want to lose your gainz post cycle either.

Considering that increasing natural testosterone levels post cycle is the aim of the game it is disappointing to see only 2 scientifically proven ingredients to do this.

Okay, so if you’re infertile there’s a bit more benefit, or stressed or already have organ issue.

However, if you are otherwise ‘healthy’, you’re not benefiting to the max with this.

Let us also consider that there are 3 further ingredients that are proven to offer any benefit.

Then there’s a low daily dose of ingredients.

Nightmare!

REPP SPORTS R-PCT Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion:

Let’s be blunt here. There’s just 2 ingredients that proven to offer benefits and be effective at stimulating testosterone for each man, and woman.

However, considering this is marketed as a PCT it shocks me to see that it misses so many other, proven, well regarded ingredients.

It misses D-AA which is a big hitter, along with the basics of B6, Zinc and Magnesium. Plus there’s Fenugreek and Ginseng missing.

Okay, it is good to have Bioperine and Cysteine but what good are they going to be without the other required ingredients missing?

    1. If you are infertile and have liver. heart of kidney issues this will offer you some benefit.

However, if you are just looking to increase your testosterone levels after a cycle of steroids or prohormones but do not have any of the issues I have just mentioned, there are better products to stimulate your natural testosterone production.
