ROK Pharm Adiphene Fat Burner Review // The Best Yet?

ROK Pharm Adiphene Fat Burner First Look:

So with a couple of sandwiches already eaten plus a KitKat and with a chocolate brownie on the way this fat shit needs to drop the anchor before the embarrassment of summer is upon me.

It will be less of ‘Boys of Summer’ by Don Henley and more ‘The Man of blub on the beach taking up all of the towels and blocking out the sun’, by yours truly.

Apologies in advance if you are in the same vicinity of me when on vacation.

Although in all honesty after getting a quick hour of Vitamin D I will be ensuring that I top up my potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, biotin and selenium levels buy drinking lots of beer.

However, we are here to get a step ahead and lose some fat before we disgrace ourselves in whatever godforsaken resort has the misfortune of accommodating us for 7-17 nights.

Hence why you are here looking at the review to see if Adiphene is any good.

On the surface it looks legit. Plenty of ingredients and no proprietary blend either which is a big plus.

It also looks professional and trustworthy, no gimmicks, no images of fantasy beasts with six packs, just a fat reducing ingredients in a clinical looking bottle.

Ingredients

Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) – Ginger has a great ability to reduce body weight without inhibiting pancreatic lipase level, or affecting bilirubin concentration, with positive effect on increasing peroxisomal catalase level and HDL-cholesterol.

Cacao – Cocoa helps in weight loss by improving mitochondrial biogenesis. It increases muscle glucose uptake by inserting glucose transporter 4 in skeletal muscles membrane.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24100674

Amorphophallus Konjac (Glucomannan) – There is early research that suggests taking glucomannan by mouth might improve weight loss in overweight and obese adults and children.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6096282

Chitosan – Some research suggests that combining chitosan with a calorie-restricted diet might result in a small amount of weight loss.

Paullinia Cupana (AKA Guarana) – Studies note that 75mg guarana (9mg caffeine) was able to enhance cognitive scores related to memory and reaction time with a subsequent dose-response study noting that 75mg was more effective than higher (150-300mg) and lower (37.5mg) doses.

Chromium – Chromium supplements are promoted as being helpful in building muscle and burning fat and in helping the body use carbohydrates.

However, most of the studies would probably suggest Chromium by mouth isn’t that effective.

Vitamin B6 – Comprising three chemically distinct compounds pyridoxal, pyridoxamine, and pyridoxine, is involved in the regulation of mental function and mood.

Vitamin B6 is also an essential homocysteine re-methylation cofactor, and deficiency is associated with increase in blood homocysteine levels. Homocysteine is a risk factor for cerebrovascular disease and may also have directly toxic effects on neurons of the central nervous system.

Neuropsychiatric disorders including seizures, migraine, chronic pain and depression have been linked to vitamin B6 deficiency.

Capsicum (Cayenne) – Known to boost metabolism, cayenne causes the body to produce extra heat and burn more calories for fuel. This is found in our favorite fat burner Instant Knockout.

L-carnitine – Acetyl-L-carnitine helps the body produce energy. It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement, and many other body processes.

It is a very popular supplement and widely proven to be active drugs for the therapy of symptoms associated with male aging.

Any fat loss tends to be associated with the extra energy provided by this compound which in turn increases exercise.

Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium) – At present, Citrus aurantium may be the best thermogenic substitute for ephedra.

However, more studies are needed to establish this definitively.

Bitter orange is possibly unsafe when taken as a supplement for a medical purpose such as weight loss.

Bitter orange, particularly when taken with stimulants such as caffeine or caffeine-containing herbs, increases the risk for high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack, stroke, and other severe side effects.

There are reports that bitter orange can trigger headaches, including migraine and cluster headaches, in some people.

Bitter orange can cause sensitivity to the sun. Wear sunblock outside, especially if you are light-skinned.

Panex (Korean) Ginseng – This form of Ginseng is the most highly researched.

There’s lots of evidence which suggest cognitive function, mood and immunity is increased, however, although there is evidence for better erections and an increase in testosterone production for infertile men there is also evidence contradictory evidence also.

Cinnamon – Helps diabetics avoid blood sugar spikes and it also improves glucose use in the cell itself.  It does contain a liver toxin called coumarin, which can be harmful in high doses.

Dose:

The advice is to take 1 tablet twice daily which amounts to 2242.75mg.

A dose of 4 tablets per day would be more optimal to ensure the body has a nice constant supply of the nutrients to work with.

2242.75mg isn’t the best amount but it’s not far off.

Effects & Benefits:

There are 8 effective fat burning ingredients present here which is a nice surprise.

The untold number of fat burner’s I bare witness to that have barely anything proven whatsoever is astounding.

Therefore, to see a product jam packed with proven ingredients and with all of the amounts clearly visible and transparent is a great relief.

This means we know exactly how much of each is included and not just trace amounts so often found in other products and then cut with bulking agents.

There’s also 2 ingredients that can assist with cognitive function as well.

Now, this may split people’s opinion…

There is no caffeine. Caffeine is a widely popular stimulant and thermogenic, some people are sensitive and would welcome this. Whereas some people really want it due to its benefits.

Negatives:

While there are a wealth of effective, beneficial and proven ingredients there are also a couple of rough edges to consider.

Bitter Orange is the main concern here. However, there is a glimmer of hope. The main potential issues created by Bitter Orange appear to be when it is combined with Caffeine and luckily there is a distinct absence of Caffeine in this supplement.

Cinnamon could be toxic if taken in large quantities so be sure not to drop more than the recommended amount of pills per day.

Guarana would actually be more effective if there was less included according to studies.

The results for Chromium in studies appear to be bleak when taken by mouth. So its real effectiveness in this situation is probably minimal.

ROK Pharm Adiphene Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

What are my main thoughts about this as a fat burner then?

Well, even though there are a few concerns over items such as Bitter Orange and Cinnamon I think they are quashed considering there’s no Caffeine included which appears to be the catalyst for any problems that have arisen in the past, or just overdosing.

So my mind is clear of worry regarding those.

I think a bit more of the ingredients would help further and I think having Green Tea included plus Zinc and B12 wouldn’t go amiss either.

However, on the whole this is a great and effective fat burner that I would happily use for great results.
