My TS Brand Labs PCT Extreme Natural Test Booster Review

My TS Brand Labs PCT Extreme Natural Test Booster Review First Look:

I found lifting the weights very hard last night.

I have a Powertec lever gym set-up in my basement at home, mainly because I had developed tendinitis on my shoulder which was preventing me use a barbell.

When I moved house, I had no room for the squat rack, bench and barbell so could only take the Powertec with me.

Since then, I have used it regularly and have stacked up some big weight with it.

I fully understand that this is not a ‘free’ weight system, so the weights moved are not exactly true.

Yet, I have still been benching just over 440lbs.

That is until fairly recently…

I have been trying lots of different natural test boosters for a while now, and they have not really offered a great deal in terms of effectiveness.

I feel as if my strength has diminished and I feel I have lost some size too.

These testosterone boosters I have been trialing recently just do not seem to have increase my test levels at all.

However, there are other reasons for increasing natural T levels…

Having a higher level of natural testosterone benefits in more way that just becoming jacked.

It has an effect on:

  • Mood
  • Energy
  • Fat levels
  • Bone composition
  • Cardiovascular health
  • Lean muscle mass
  • Libido

I would normally take TestoFuel which has seen me make some great gains in the past, not to mention sending my sex drive through the roof after I had finished my cycle of prohormones ages ago.

This is marketed as a PCT (post cycle therapy), which means it is used to stimulate natural testosterone once you have finished a cycle of steroids or prohormones.

When you finish a cycle, it takes a while for your body to comprehend what is happening and your natural T levels are low.

This should get it all back in working order quicker.

Ingredients: The Science

Indole-3-carbinol – This is a negative regulator of estrogen.

Chrysin – Laboratory research suggests that chrysin might increase testosterone, but research in humans hasn’t found any effect on testosterone levels.

The amount of chrysin that is absorbed from the intestine may be very small, which would make the effects unlikely.

Cissus Quadrangularis – Due to the ability of cissus quadrangularis to act as a glucocorticoid antagonist, it has been proposed to possess anabolic activity; no studies have yet addressed this topic.

Anecdotes of cissus seem to precede much of the science on the topic.

Longjack (Eurycoma Longifolia, TongKat Ali) – Is a pro-fertility agent and aphrodisiac that appears to have a large body of evidence supporting this role and some evidence suggesting it may be an anti-estrogen and pro-erectile agent.

Although there’s some research to suggest it may increase testosterone levels in animals and humans it is pretty lackluster which doesn’t bode too well.

Reservatrol – In tests resveratrol improved inflammatory and atherogenic status in subjects at risk for cardiovascular disease, as well as in patients with established coronary heart disease.

However, its bioavailability is relatively low because it is rapidly metabolized and eliminated.

Clinical trials in healthy people are limited.

Fenugreek Seed – It is claimed by researchers that fenugreek works to increase testosterone or androgen levels, which decrease as you age.

Carduus Mar (Milk Thistle) – A great ingredient used to flush out and protect the liver as well as help repair cells but more required for anyone doing a course or Prohormones or oral anabolic steroids.

NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) – Great for people with liver, heart and kidney problems but no evidence for boosting testosterone.

3,4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran (Ursolic Acid) – In studies of mice, ursolic acid increases skeletal muscle, brown fat and energy expenditure.

These effects are associated with increased strength and exercise capacity, and reduced obesity.

The label instructs us to have up to 2 capsules per day.

It is recommended that we have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best testosterone booster on the market.

When you have more doses throughout the day it ensures your body always has nutrients to work with.

Additionally, if your body receives an overload of ingredients at once, it will not utilize anything it doesn’t require at the time which can lead to waste.

Each daily serving equates to 1125mg which is a low amount when compared to what we find in effective testosterone boosters such as Prime Male.

Within this natural test booster there’s two ingredients that are reputable and verified to help either stimulate natural test levels or protect T from a hormone imbalance.

These two ingredients are:

  • Fenugreek
  • Indole-3-carbinol

As a result of their effectiveness, they are also included in the best T boosters such as TestoFuel or other, well regarded supplements aimed at increasing testosterone levels.

Fenugreek can work towards restoring and increasing test levels, but it is not a miracle worker on its own.

Indole will help ensure that there isn’t an imbalance between testosterone and estrogen which would promote increased fatty deposits and reduce muscle mass.

Ursolic Acid can help increase strength and physical performance if the studies in mice correlate with humans…if.

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine helps people recover with liver, kidney and heart problems and milk thistle can help with liver function too.

The daily dose is low when compared to other testosterone boosters that are highly rated and offer over half the amount extra.

To say this is supposed to help stimulate test levels after a course of steroids or prohormones, there’s only one ingredient that is able to help kick start your production.

If you have suffered toxicity from drug use, milk thistle is not going to be as effective as Liv.52 which can be bought separately for a competitive price.

Ursolic acid potentially can offer some great physical results, yet human studies look rare.

There is then a further four ingredients that are not proven to increase natural test levels or help recover from using anabolic steroids or prohormones.

This PCT supplement is made up of three proprietary blends.

This means we have no idea how much of each individual ingredient is included.

My TS Brand Labs PCT Extreme Natural Test Booster Review Conclusion:

This PCT is supposed to help your body recover after a cycle of steroids.

It has the milk thistle and N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine to aid organ recovery, but then, to help your natural T levels recover, it only really has Fenugreek that can help stimulate T production.

While Indole will help regulate and ensure estrogen levels do not get too high, just the two working together will not have much impact, and that is the problem, there are then a further four ingredients that will not benefit T levels at all.

This is poor when you consider testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel which I use offers the following, proven ingredients that are known to stimulate testosterone:

  • Vit. C
  • Zinc
  • Magnesium
  • D-Aspartic Acid
  • Vitamin D3
  • Vitamin K2
  • Ginseng
  • Oyster
  • Vitamin B6

With these key ingredients missing, this supplement is not going to offer any benefit associated with a higher level of testosterone, as a result, I cannot recommend it.

There’s a wealth of information and studies available outlining proven ingredients that are able to increase your natural testosterone production.

To also include ingredients that are not thoroughly tested on humans is also not particularly favorable.

Take a look at what works to maximize your workouts.
