AKILAWA REV BOOST Testosterone Booster Review
Will The Testosterone Booster Supplement From AKILAWA Work?
AKILAWA REV BOOST Testosterone Booster Review First Look:
It is rest day for me today but Friday (tomorrow) will be a night in with the iron.
The girlfriend is out for tapas in the evening with friends and I have decided that a night off the booze is probably ideal seeing as we polished off a couple of bottles last night over dinner in a French restaurant.
In fact, we will probably do the same this evening too over a dinner of duck.
However, enough of our evening schedules and back on to testosterone…
I am currently benching 445.5lbs on the Powertec Isolateral machine and 330lbs for shoulders let alone the 445.5lbs for deadlifts using a Hex bar.
Overall I am pretty happy with my performance and development.
My strength and size has increased as well as noticing a reduction in body fat this means I look and feel much better overall.
The only problem is that I will be playing rugby this weekend so next week will not see me lifting any weights at all as I will feel absolutely broken.
Therefore I always like to ensure that my natural testosterone levels are high to ensure I am making the most of what I am lifting, not to mention keeping my libido high.
I normally use TestoFuel because it offers the best number of proven and effective testosterone stimulating ingredients, so it will be interesting to see how this testosterone booster from Akilawa compares.
Ingredients:
Arginine-alpha-ketoglutarate (AAKG) – Tests on supplementation draw no real benefit that would not be found from resistance training itself.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21813912
Arginine alpha-ketoisocaproic acid (AKIC) – When tested on male participants this did not have any effect on athletic performance.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2042499/
Ornithine Alpha-Ketoglutarte (OKG) – There is currently one study using ornithine paired with arginine that noted improvements in lean mass and power output in weightlifters, but this is an old study that has not been replicated and its practical relevance is uncertain.
Finally, the increases in growth hormone seen with ornithine are similar to those seen with arginine.
Technically they exist, but as they are very short lived and the body seems to compensate the overall increases in whole-day growth hormone are not significant.
Since the main properties of growth hormone being concerned with (increased lean mass gain and fat loss) are more related to day-long exposure rather than short-bursts, it is unlikely that ornithine has a role here.

Glutamine-alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG) – A nutritionally semi-essential amino acid for proper growth in most cells and tissues, and plays an important role in the determination and guarding of the normal metabolic processes of the cells.

Dose:
Up to 6 pills per day – this amounts to a large 4452mg of ingredients daily which is a good amount for a testosterone booster supplement.
The best testosterone boosters tend to be in excess of 3000mg.
Benefits & Effects:
Wow. This is marketed as a testosterone booster.
Not much boosting of testosterone though I am afraid…
At best, AKG helps with the growth of cells, muscle and tissue just like amino acids do.
OKG almost looks positive but then it seems its real day to day relevance and actual benefit is not particularly useful.
Negatives:
Not one of these ingredients can stimulate any more production of natural testosterone. At all.
So, to say that this is a testosterone boosting supplement is just not true.
It is missing the key and basic ingredients that are proven to stimulate more testosterone.
In fact, I have no idea how this would be categorized but it is not relevant here.
Plus, at $62 per bottle I think someone somewhere is having a great big laugh at our expense.
AKILAWA REV BOOST Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion:
This supplement does not offer any ingredients that are proven to stimulate testosterone production.
It really is not going to offer much day-to-day benefit whatsoever.
Overall the whole product is further lacking research driven ingredients such as Vitamin D3, B12, K2, Oyster, D-Aspartic Acid, Magnesium, B6, Fenugreek, Zinc and even Panax Ginseng to name a few and these are all included in the best testosterone boosters out there.
A terrible supplement that should be avoided at all costs.
