ActivLab TribuActiv B6 Testosterone Booster Review // Will This Increase Muscle Mass?
First look:
It is all bright red and you may be mistaken for thinking that it is only a Tribulus product which it isn’t. This offers more, but how much more we shall see.
One thing to note, red means stop or danger, not sure about you, but I would probably think twice about buying something looking like this. I guess it stands out from the sea of white bottles that is the norm these days.

Ingredients:
Vitamin B6 – Vitamin B6 helps testosterone levels by stimulating androgen (a steroid hormone that acts as a precursor for testosterone) receptors in your body, making your testes produce testosterone.

Magnesium – Research into magnesium supplementation also increased testosterone production in men.

Zinc – Studies show that this has a link with healthy testosterone production.

Tribulus – My only beef is that although Tribulus is touted as a wonder plant extract that helps strength gains and it was the secret drug of choice by Easten Bloc Olympic lifters in the Cold War (I think that was anabolic steroids actually judging by the women’s beards and square jawlines!) There is no evidence of any benefits from using Tribulus.

– Testosterone boosting ingredients –
Dose:
2 pills per day. The optimal amount is 4 per day to ensure a constant trickle of ingredients. This offers a daily dose of 1161.4mg. Very vanilla.
Effects:
This has 3 effective ingredients, and Tribulus isn’t included in that 3. What we essentially have here is a ZMA product with a leach hanging on the coattails.
ZMA products are a good way to maintain a healthy testosterone level, however, by themselves they are not considered an effective way to stimulate testosterone, for that a plethora of proven ingredients working together is required for maximum results.
However, it isn’t all medals here I am afraid…
Negatives:
The main issue here is that there are full testosterone boosters on sale which offer much more to the mix. What makes this different to other ZMA’s?
Well this actually has less ingredients than a regular ZMA product, a stand alone ZMA usually has 10mg of B6, 30mg of Zinc and 450mg of Magnesium which means this is massively under-dosed, yet we are provided with 1000mg of Tribulus that does nothing to increase testosterone levels.
Products like TestoFuel contains D-aspartic Acid and B6 but has 6 other proven ingredients such as Fenugreek, Oyster Extract, Ginseng, Vitamin D3, K12, B12 etc.
My Review Conclusion:
This doesn’t look good nor is it really effective at stimulating testosterone.
They have taken the basis of a ZMA product which are useful supplements in their own right, then they have dramatically diluted its effectiveness.
To add insult to injury an extra large dose of Tribulus has been provided for no apparent reason other than to satisfy the guys who still believe it works.
Believe me when I say it doesn’t work to stimulate testosterone levels or increase strength or muscle mass.
