X-TONE Fitness Thermoburn Fat Burner Review // New To The Scene
My X-TONE Fitness Thermoburn Fat Burner
First Look
Themogenic fat burners are proving popular. How will Thermoburn perform?
I found this unknown brand of supplements in the bargain end of the grocery store.
They were piled high and all of the supplements ranging from Raspberry Ketones (do not bother!), protein powder’s and Creatine among others.
They also seem to produce gym kit such as towels, kettlebells, gym mats etc.
They all look the same and take on white packaging which is rather sleek coupled with contemporary fonts.
Overall, apart from the similar look which could cause confusion and mistakenly purchasing the wrong supplement it does look fresh and reliable.
There’s no weird or ridiculous graphics and it isn’t gender specific either which seems to be increasing in popularity of late.
Nope, on the face of it, this natural fat cutter supplement looks to be of good value and a quick glimpse of the ingredients, seem to offer some benefit.
I keep getting questions asked about this too, so I have added a video.
TL:DR – Video
About X-Tone
There’s not much to read about X-Tone online.
All I can say is that it appears to offer a no-nonsense approach to supplements and fitness equipment.
No big brands, very little marketing but cost effective.
Thermoburn Claims
Very much in keeping with X-Tone’s low key market position there is nothing on the bottle making spurious or outlandish claims.
Basically, take the product and find out what happens.
That is quite an exciting proposition.
However, if it is going to keep me awake all night I would rather know so I can time the doses better.
Ingredients: The Science
Luckily there is no proprietary blend present because that would have explained the cheap price.
However, by the few bottles I could find on the shelf I am confident this may be quite a popular product, so I am keen to see if the science backs up the popularity, because in many cases, the results are lacking…
– Magnesium
Magnesium is more commonly found in testosterone boosters.
However, if a persons diet is high in magnesium it puts them at a lower risk of type 2 diabetes.
This seems to be due to magnesium able to metabolise glucose effectively.
Type 2 diabetes is associated with obesity. [1]
– Green Tea
Green tea has been proven by scientific research that it has a positive effect on fat loss by increasing thermogenesis.
The catechins in green tea combined with anti-oxidants and caffeine help increase endurance and plus alleviate muscle soreness after exercising. [2]
– Chromium
Chromium seems to have weight loss affects according to the associated studies.
So much so that it is often included in the most reliable fat burners.
There’s evidence to show that people who suffer from diabetes are deficient in chromium. [3]
– Vitamin B6
B6 has shown to reduce fat mass in a study of 49 women.
It is important to understand that B6 is a water soluble vitamin and must be topped up daily. [4]
– Tyrosine
Tyrosine can help alleviate fatigue.
Overall it is able to improve mental performance when under stressful, it may be able to reduce fat levels but only when combined with further ingredients such as cayenne, green tea, calcium and caffeine. [5]
– Caffeine
Caffeine has proven effects on increasing metabolism, rate to exhaustion and muscle recovery.
This can increase gym or exercise frequency meaning you’re exercising more and burning more calories. [6]
– L-carnitine
Carnitine is critical for producing energy. Generally sourced from meat and dairy products, most of us probably get enough of carnitine from foods.
At best it may be able to help fight against cognitive ageing.
Studies for many years have not proven that it can increase athletic performance. [7]
– Zinc
A lack of zinc correlates with obesity.
Zinc contributes to fighting inflammation, insulin resistance and stress. [8]
– Paullinia Cupana (AKA Guarana)
Paullinia is extremely sensitive to the amounts dosed.
So too much, will not have the same cognitive benefits as 75mg.
When combined with other ingredients it may help with weight loss, however, it has yet to be established whether guarana has the actual fat burning effect or not. [9]
– Zingiber Officinale (Ginger)
In studies whereby ginger has been tested to to see how well it effects fat mass it has demosntrated that it can reduce body weight without negative effects. [10]
How to take Thermoburn
Take 2 pills per day.
This amounts to a total of 925.15mg per day which is about a third of what you would find in the best fat burner supplements.
It is also better to spread the pills out over the course of the day rather than take them in one sitting, in that way you maintain a high level of the thermogenic ingredients working to increase your metabolism.
If you get too much of certain ingredients, that what the body doesn’t need at the time will be wasted and you will not feel the benefit.
Therefore, if you have a massive dose of Zinc yet your body is still processing and utilizing Zinc from a meal you’ve recently had or a drink it will not process any extra that is not required.
What the body doesn’t require at the time will let it pass. Thus, a higher chance of waste and less benefits.
Pros
There’s a good bunch (5) of ingredients present here that also make an appearance in the best fat burner on the market.
These 5 ingredients will make a difference…if dosed sufficiently.
Then there are the additional ingredients such as Magnesium, Ginger, Tyrosine, Carnitine and Guarana.
All have their own benefits, especially Carnitine which is able to help the body produce energy.
Therefore, there are no ingredients here which offer nothing to the table.
So it looks positive all round.
Plus, it is very cost effective when compared to some other fat burner’s, however, at a third of the amount you would get with the best rated fat burner’s such as Instant Knockout.
That cheap cost may need to be multiplied by three, which means it doesn’t really look such good value anymore…
Some users have noted in our comments below that it hasn’t been very effective.
Cons
So while at the first breakdown of the ingredients it is all looking great, there are few problems which hold it back.
Namely the really low daily dose and the dosing strategy.
Both are not at all optimal and will not maximize the effectiveness of the good ingredients.
There also seems to be a lack of thorough research when it comes to the dosing of Guarana whereby we are provided too much!
At 300mg studies have shown it to be less effective than 75mg doses.
As much as Tyrosine can be useful, I do not think it is in the right application here, it would be far more suited to a Nootropic.
This fat burner supplement from X-Tone Fitness is also missing a couple of excellent ingredients such as B12, Cayenne powder and even Green Coffee Extract which are more commonly found in the best performing fat burner.
I have never found this product to be sold at any other outlet other than the grocery store I bought it from.
There’s no online availability either. Very difficult to purchase.
Any unwanted side effects?
Ginger may increase risk of belled and worsen some heart conditions.
Guarana may cause insomnia like symptoms and restlessness. Plus a whole host of other problems that rage from anxiety, tremors, problems if you are diabetic to dying!
My X-TONE Fitness Thermoburn Fat Burner Conclusion
Considering this is a fat burner supplement from an un-established brand it is a worthy effort.
Almost all of the right ingredients are present to help stimulate fat burn.
However, it lacks on the total amount of the ingredients for each daily dose and it also lacks a good dosing schedule, by judging from user comments this is showing by it’s ineffectiveness.
As already mentioned you would realistically need to up the dose by three to be on the same level as much better fat burners. As a result, the value from the cheap price is no longer there.
The mis-dosing of Guarana also highlights the little thorough research carried out too.
Let’s not forget the risks that comes with Guarana and potentially ginger, too.
Final Thoughts?
Overall this is not too bad, but a fair few areas of improvement required ensures this misses the mark of being the best fat burner available.

I have low thyroid function and take 50mg thyroxine daily – are these ok to take with that? I train 6 days a week -(weights and cardio) eat 5 meals a day – careful with protein carb and fats 30g/17g-30g/5g per meal. Fat burning seems very slow! Last month 3lbs of fat but less than lb this month? And was on fat burning phase of schedule? Am getting very frustrated at progress rate. Any advice greatly welcomed.
Many thanks
Fat burners are nothing but a novelty and you sound like you are taking this all very seriously – they are not sustainable in a healthy person in the long term and nothing and i mean NOTHING is going to beat tracking your food and exercise correctly and providing your body with the deficit it needs by strength training or cardio. Also remember, being in a calorie deficit is TEMPORARY and is not intended for the long run – you should provide your body with the macro and micro nutrients it needs and being in a state of constantly wanting to shrink in size is legitimately an eating disorder.
Absolutely. You cannot replace a calorie controlled diet and exercise for just a few pills and expect it to be sustainable.
I recently brought the raspberry and the thermoburn just to see what they were like never taken anything like this before and am trying to loose weight. I got to the gym 3/4 times a week and eat pretty well ahah, what would you suggest to be the best for me? If they work I’m willing to spend a bit more this time round
Hi,
Raspberry Ketones are proven not to work, so while they will not really do any harm it’s unlikely you will see any effects from them. Keep tabs of our top 3 fat burner page and the nutrition section for a bit of inspiration.
Its also worth checking out one of the latest articles regarding slow and fast exercise for fat burn.
Hope that helps.
Thankyou 🙂
