BPI Sports KETO Bomb Creamer Fat Burner Review // Taste Good & Lose Weight?
My BPI Sports KETO Bomb Creamer Fat Burner
First Look:
The Keto diet is nothing new and we are always hearing about how to lose weight be consuming more fats, but as long as they are the correct fats.
Now, there’s a guy who works where I do and he is always on these fad diets. If he isn’t completely off carbs and just consuming chicken stock for breakfast he is licking strawberries for lunch.
The thing is he has lost weight. The other thing is he didn’t need to lose weight, he wasn’t ever fat, in fact he would be better off adding more weight by increasing muscle mass.
He has also mentioned how being on his high fat low anything else diet was making it hard to concentrate which could be difficult as a lathe operator…I joke…I think he works in graphic design or something.
Either way, I do not have a good impression of his high fat diet.
On another note, I reviewed the BPI Keto weight management fat burner that comes as normal pills back in January and I didn’t think much of it.
This on the other hand could be different. It’s a different proposition being a creamer rather than pills, but this could be the future, this could be the way forward…
Ingredients: The Science
Magnesium
Magnesium deficiencies are common in developed countries. A deficiency increases blood pressure, reduces glucose tolerance and causes neural excitation.
Supplementation of magnesium is not very effective at reducing fat mass.

Salt (sodium)
An essential mineral; its consumption is critical to our health. However, Americans do consume double the recommended daily intake.
Excess sodium may not raise blood pressure, but it is associated with other health issues, such as kidney damage and an increased risk of cognitive decline.

Potassium
Potassium levels change with sodium levels to keep muscles working properly throughout your body, especially your heart.

Calcium
There’s good evidence that diets high in calcium are associated with reduced rates of being overweight or obese.
Calcium stored in fat cells plays a crucial role in regulating how fat is processed and stored by the body. The more calcium there is in a fat cell, the more fat the cell will burn and the greater the weight loss.

However, a recent study has warned against calcium supplementation due to the increased risk of a heart attack.

Medium Chain Triglycerides
Can be used to help raise metabolism but the effect is very small, MCT essentially are fatty acids that can be used for energy and they are much easier for your body to absorb – but they ain’t a miracle worker.

Sunflower Oil
Consuming sunflower oil may be less effective at reducing cholesterol compared to palm oil and flaxseed oil.
Avocado
Avocados (they’re a berry) are high in fat. But it’s monounsaturated fat, which is a “good” fat that helps lower bad cholesterol, as long as you eat them in moderation.
They also promote sexual desire and hair growth…

Saffron (Crocus sativus)
Studies show that saffron, at the recommended dose, has antidepressant properties. Saffron’s side effects, like reduced snacking and an elevated mood, could be the result of increased serotonin secretion.
Saffron does not have a high margin of safety, so care should be taken during supplementation. The standard daily dose is 30mg, used for up to eight weeks. It is possible that even double the dose could result in harm to the body.

Dose:
The advice is to take 1 scoop per day for no more than 8 weeks.
1 scoop is 720mg.
Pros:
Most Westerners are deficient in Magnesium due to our diet that seems to omit leafy green vegetables, so having magnesium supplemented will do us no harm and it can help increase testosterone levels.
Potassium is great for muscle function and can help prevent cramp when playing sport, I love to eat something high in potassium before I play rugby.
MCT’s can help raise metabolism and energy..but the effects are minimal.
Avocados when eaten in moderation can lower the bad cholesterol as can Sunflower.
Saffron can help fight depression and potentially ward off your appetite…when dosed correctly.
Cons:
One main issue I have with this is the potential harm caused by Saffron. The dose is concealed by a proprietary blend of 20mg in total.
However, we do not know how much of that 20mg is Saffron so it can be hard to judge whether you are overdosing or not.
The other issue is that this does consist of a proprietary blend, again we have no idea of how much we are dosing for each ingredient.
Magnesium isn’t proven to help lose fat mass.
There’s also potential issues if you dose too much sodium or Calcium, especially if the calcium is from a supplement and not via natural food sources.
MCT’s while they can have a positive effect is extremely small, so do not expect to shed lots of weight.
Plus why not use flaxseed instead of sunflower? Flaxseed is more effective at reducing cholestrol.
At $34.99 it is an expensive way to flavor your coffee.
My BPI Sports KETO Bomb Creamer Fat Burner Review Conclusion:
We are at a bit of a stalemate here.
There’s some positives, but they almost all come with negatives, or at least the positives are not exactly groundbreaking nor massively effective in the real world.
Then there’s the issue with dosing control which realistically we do not have due to the proprietary blend and potential risks with Saffron.
Will it help lose weight?
Yes it can help, but only if your diet and training is completely in check. Do not use this thinking that it cancels out all of the bad stuff you are eating and essentially do the work that a 5 mile run would do, because it will have no effect whatsoever.
Final Thoughts?
In fact, overall, the effects will be minimal. Much better for you than regular creamer but that’s about it.
However, this is not on the same performance terms as Instant Knockout.
