Increasing Testosterone Levels May Prevent A Stroke
Latest research from the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio states that increasing testosterone levels via replacement therapy for those who exhibit testosterone depletion can help to prevent a heart attack.
A heart attack happens when a portion of the heart is starved of oxygen, this is known as cardiac ischemia.
When this happens the muscle tissue of the heart starts to die, this is known as myocardial infarction.

These findings contradict the opinions that testosterone therapy may actually increase the risk of cardiovascular disease and or death as a result.
The researchers at the Cleveland Clinic utilized the wealth of information at their disposal to conduct a retrospective study from the health care database to cross examine the reasons behind mortality in patients.
The results from the cross examination of 418 men whom were at least 40 years of age and were at an average of 53.8 years old were 2.9% less likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease.
What was established is that depending on collective reasoning behind the levels of low testosterone in men and whether or no they already have established cardiovascular disease, the conclusion is that testosterone therapy can help some men who are suffering from low testosterone from cardiovascular complications.
