Applied Nutraceuticals Free Test Testosterone Booster Review
Applied Nutraceuticals Free Test Testosterone Booster First Look:
This testosterone booster from Applied Nutraceuticals doesn’t take the approach of another testosterone booster from the same company know as Free Test XRT.
XRT has a clean, white and a pharma image, whereas this looks like something the teenage mutant ninja turtles would take. Let’s face it, the mutant turtles have been taking something over the years because when I was younger they didn’t have delts like that!

Ingredients:
Forslean (Coleus forskohlii) – Forskolin is a chemical found in the roots of the plant Plectranthus barbatus. This plant has been used since ancient times to treat heart disorders such as high blood pressure and chest pain (angina), as well as respiratory disorders such as asthma, it can also assist with reducing fat mass in obese people.
However, no reliable scientific information that shows Coleus forskohlii extracts taken by mouth are effective.

Quercetin (Apple extract, 3, 4, 5, 7-pentahydroxylflavone) – Has anti-oxidant, anti-artherogenic, and anti-carcinogenic properties. Quercetin is also neuroactive, with some of the same abilities as Caffeine but less potent. It increases the bio-availability of resveratrol. Doses of up to 25mg per kg of body weight is advised.

Zinc – Needed for many reactions in the brain and a key component for releasing the luteinzing hormone (LH). LH is primarily responsible for the production of testosterone and growth hormone. The fact that it’s in here is great. Zinc is found in everyone of our Top 3 T-Boosters
Selenium – No conclusive proof even when supplemented with Zinc that selenium increases testosterone levels.
L-carnitine – Acetyl-L-carnitine helps the body produce energy. It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement, and many other body processes.
It is a very popular supplement and widely proven to be active drugs for the therapy of symptoms associated with male aging. Any fat loss tends to be associated with the extra energy provided by this compound which in turn increases exercise.

L-Cysteine – Great for people with liver, heart and kidney problems but no evidence for boosting testosterone.

Magnesium – Research into magnesium supplementation also increased testosterone production in men.

7-Keto DHEA – This is nonhormonal, and it appears to be a fat loss agent as it may increase the metabolic rate.
However, while studies in humans do look to be positive they are not entirely conclusive.
As far as it is currently known, doses of 400mg are probably optimal.

BioPerine (Piper nigrum) – The extract of piperine, called BioPerine® in the patented form, has been clinically tested in the United States.
BioPerine® significantly enhances the bioavailability of various supplement nutrients through increased absorption.

Reservatrol – In tests resveratrol improved inflammatory and atherogenic status in subjects at risk for cardiovascular disease, as well as in patients with established coronary heart disease, however, its bioavailability is relatively low because it is rapidly metabolized and eliminated. Clinical trials in healthy people are limited.

– Our best & worst testosterone booster ingredients –
Dose:
We’re instructed to take 4 tablets daily!
We prefer at least 4 spread across the day to evenly spread the nutrients out and prevent massive peaks and troughs. 4 tablets are the doses of our benchmark products.
A daily serving works out at a solid 2800mg.
Effects:
This is a testosterone booster, right? It is advertised and called such.
So why the hell do we only have 2 testosterone boosting ingredients present?!
It beggars belief!
It actually seems there are more potential fat burner ingredients included such as 7 Keto DHEA, L-Carnitine and Coleus Forskohlii.
Negatives:
The price at $69.99 is fairly steep for what is a proprietary blend…
Plus, we only have 2 testosterone boosting ingredients in the shape of Zinc and Magnesium. The other ingredients seem like they are there to mimic the effects of higher testosterone levels.
Here’s an idea…why not just include ingredients that are scientifically recognized to stimulate more testosterone production? That way mimicking ingredients would not be required.
As it is, it is not so much a testosterone booster just a collection of different ingredients.
Applied Nutraceuticals Free Test Testosterone Booster Conclusion:
The proprietary blend really lets this testosterone booster down – I particularly do not trust anything which consists of a proprietary blend.
Yet, that is only part of the problem.
The fact that just 2, yes 2, ingredients are effective for stimulating natural testosterone production makes you wonder whether there was any actual research carried out before producing this hashed together and largely ineffective blend of ingredients.
One thing for sure is that the teenage mutant ninja turtles did not get jacked using this supplement.
Take a look at what works to maximize your workouts at a reasonable price conveniently and safely.
