First Look:

Blackstone have a real affinity with the hardcore underground look. I feel I should be wearing a snap-back and have ear lobe plugs (although big holes in my ear lobes would not be useful playing rugby).

I do feel this may work in favor with the older, slightly crusty looking lifters who were subject to this illegal look when supplements were not quite as widespread as they are now and many relied on mates bringing in all sorts of ‘products’ from the Eastern Bloc or Mexico.

Or the impressionable youth who think they are living dangerously and therefore cool.

I personally think it detracts away from the actual product itself.

Ingredients:

Until now there’s only one animal study about the function of 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin. This is an old Russian research. It is shown that 6-ketoderivatives of natural sapogenins display the anabolic activity and do not manifest any androgenic properties. The compound 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin produces an accelerated gain of weight in rats, and also an increase in the weight of the liver, heart, kidneys.

It seems that in tests protein synthesis was increased by 200% which is key to muscle repair and recovery, it was shown to balance cortisol levels too when on a calorie restricted diet..

However, I can find no credible studies or journals on the subject. And this is the problem.

Dose:

2 pills per day.

In terms of pill dosage, if this had any thing in them, I would much prefer 4 pills to be spread out across the day to ensure that the body suffers less spikes and troughs of the ingredients. This directs us to pop both at once, that means after about 1 hour you will have 23 hours of nothing and your body longing for more of the ingredients.

Effects:

We are struggling here.

Why? Well, realistically if this was to provide the gainz as we are led to believe it would not be legal.

We are told the effects are similar to Anavar but without the toxicity, I have used Anavar and I didn’t notice any gainz.

The studies are so few and far between that I cannot actually find anything of any substance online, at all. Nothing at least from sources I deem trustworthy or of a educational/medical/scholarly/scientific level.

And, let’s be honest with ourselves, if it was as good as it is supposed to be there would be studies widespread. It would be ALL over the internet and in magazines.

Not just some old Russian animal studies, and let’s face facts, the Russian’s are hardly noted for their honesty and transparency, especially when it comes to performance enhancing drugs and testing regimes.

Negatives:

There’s just nothing credible relating to this compound or plant steroid available. I do not want to accept or use anecdotal sources because these are not valid.

People may talk until they are blue in the face of its effectiveness but if there are no scientific studies or test that have been carried out recently and on humans I cannot wholeheartedly say this is effective.

If they effects are just like Anavar I would not bother with it anyway as Anavar is crap.

$64.99 is pretty steep for a untested or fully researched product.

Conclusion:

It is not as if this ingredient is newly discovered, bonded or developed. This has been around since the 1960’s yet there’s minimal information except hearsay to be found.

That strikes me as being odd. Logically thinking if it really is the supplement we have all been looking for by providing mild steroid effects with no side effects and being safe for all genders you would have thought we would all know about it by now.

For fuck sake they have had 55 years to study its effects in greater detail. Pharma companies would be all over this and so would governments either wanting to ban it or tax it to death, but alas, it is barely heard of or found.

Yet, we are led to believe all of the above.

It doesn’t make any sense. People love to believe, they love to have faith and hope and it is why people do silly and illogical things, it is a case or letting your heart rule your head,

It is this illogical thought process which lets us buy any other car which isn’t a Toyota.
