FINAFLEX Stimul8 Pre Workout Review

First Look

I have just eaten some dinner, drank this pre workout, probably go for a pre lift shit to get rid of my nerves then head in to the coal bunker beneath my living room to hit the deadlifts and the rest.

Once finished I need to install some blinds in my bedroom because the sun keep shining through in to my eyes every morning meaning I wake up at about 5am!

Not cool when you are falling asleep at work before 4pm every day.

I could also do with cleaning my house up a bit too before the weekend as it is slowly disintegrating in to a shit tip not worthy of hosting anyone.

So, with all of this in mind I want a surge of energy to power me through the evening and hopefully I will get to bed before midnight ready for Friday morning.

I ended up with getting a lift from the office this evening so left my bike at work for the night, this means tomorrow morning I will be on public transport and that never leaves you feeling invigorated firs thing in the morning at work.

However, STIMUL8 from FINAFLEX looks okay, it comes in the usual black sachet and promises much, whether or not it can stand and deliver is another matter entirely.

Ingredients

Rauwolscine – Highly stimulatory and may also be mood-elevating.

Not enough info is known for an active oral dose but approximately 15mg in combination with other fat loss supplements. Very similar to yohimbine, it alleviates pressures the body exerts to preserve fat mass.

Caffeine – It stimulates the central nervous system (CNS), heart, muscles, and the centers that control blood pressure to give you an extra boost and hit that PB.

Caffeine Anhydrous is the purest form of caffeine so always look out for it.

This is found in 4 Gauge which is the best pre-workout.

Hordenine – Technically Hordenine can be used as a stimulant and fat burner due to its associated with tyramine and noradrenaline, but not enough evidence exists currently to support its usage as nutritional supplementation.

Beta-alanine  – Supplementation of this non essential amino acid aids the production of carnosine. That’s a compound that plays a role in muscle endurance in high-intensity exercise.

That said, studies have not exactly been positive nor entirely conclusive.

Green Tea – well known to have many powerful health benefits. Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat.

One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese.

Some researchers think that substances in green tea known as catechins are responsible for the herb’s fat-burning effect. Green tea extract is found in many a good fat burning supplement.

Phenethylamine (Eria Jarensis Extract) – Touted as the next big thing, however, there are no real supporting studies available to support this claim.

The only information about this plant extract is available on websites whereby they have an interest in making it sound great because that would lead to sales.

Cacao – Cocoa helps in weight loss by improving mitochondrial biogenesis. It increases muscle glucose uptake by inserting glucose transporter 4 in skeletal muscles membrane.

Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium) – At present, Citrus aurantium may be the best thermogenic substitute for ephedra. However, more studies are needed to establish this definitively.

Bitter orange is possibly unsafe when taken as a supplement for a medical purpose such as weight loss.

Bitter orange, particularly when taken with stimulants such as caffeine or caffeine-containing herbs, increases the risk for high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack, stroke, and other severe side effects.

There are reports that bitter orange can trigger headaches, including migraine and cluster headaches, in some people.

Bitter orange can cause sensitivity to the sun. Wear sunblock outside, especially if you are light-skinned.

Dose

The sachet I had was tropical storm.

There’s a total of 2600mg which is very, very low compared to what we have come to expect and see with other pre workout formulas.

It mixed well with water and tasted okay. It was an odd color but went down the hatch easy enough.

Effects & Benefits

Caffeine is probably the most well known ingredient found in here and its ability to give you a buzz and some energy is renowned, most used by people who work long hours or are hungover.

Beta-Alanine does nothing other than provide a tingling sensation which makes you think your veins are coursing with energy.

Rauwolscine seems to be a stimulant but there’s not a great deal of knowledge on how much is required. That doesn’t really help.

Overall, this seems to have more fat burning orientated ingredients than anything else.

Green Tea is used to increase your metabolic rate and Cacao can increase muscle glucose uptake.

How did it feel?

I only felt the Beta-Alanine if I am honest, that felt quite strong but I felt no other benefits.

A bit disappointing really.

Negatives

From using this, I felt nothing other than Beta-Alanine, I didn’t even feel the Caffeine.

This is definitely due to the low overall dose and the fact it is also a proprietary blend.

Citrus Aurantium can cause some serious health problems when combined with Caffeine, although considering I didn’t feel any more energetic I doubt there was much in the way of Caffeine included so we might be safe. I haven’t died just yet anyway.

Eria Jarensis hasn’t proven itself to work or offer any benefit regardless of it’s online plaudits.

Beta-Alanine offers nothing more than a tingling sensation which can mask the overall ineffectiveness of a product.

Hordenine again falls under the parfait of not being proven to work.

There’s also very little knowledge of what dose should be provided for oral administration of Rauwolscine.

FINAFLEX Stimul8 Pre Workout Review Conclusion

This really is too low dosed to be effective. I felt nothing more than a tingling sensation from the Beta-Alanine, and that’s the only effect it provided…a tingling sensation.

The proprietary blended dose means we have no idea how much of each individual ingredient is provided, the way it performed it would not surprise me if it mainly consisted of a bulking agent which is cheap.

Overall it didn’t give me any extra focus, power or energy that I am looking for before hitting the weights plus numerous chores around the house.
