How Can We Balance Our Hormone Levels Safely And Naturally?

Testosterone Junkie Writer Info

The human body while being extremely resilient is also fragile.

Like a highly tuned performance car they need to be maintained thoroughly and properly. That means eating and drinking the right foods and avoiding unwanted stresses and toxins.

If we can do this we can keep our body running effectively and efficiently. This includes physical and mental well being, not withstanding our hormone levels.

Therefore, in order to keep our hormones balanced and working for us, especially to help build muscle and strength take a look below…

Testosterone Levels

Testosterone levels are an important hormone not only to build muscle and reduce fat levels but for mental wellness, bone health, energy levels and immunity.

It also keeps our sex life in check too, not withstanding maintaining healthy sperm levels.

It is known that testosterone levels are affected massively by our nutrition.

Nutritionally weak foods, high sugar, refined carbohydrates and alcohol can reduce our testosterone levels.

On the other side of the coin, wholesome and nutritionally dense foods such as eggs, nuts, lean meats and oysters can help stimulate our testosterone levels.

Estrogen Levels

Vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage are great estrogen regulators.

Too much estrogen can lead to gynecomastia (gyno) which produces fatty tissue around the breast area in men, erectile dysfunction, increased abdominal fat, depression, lack of energy, a reduction of muscle mass and even type 2 diabetes. Basically all of the opposite which comes with healthy testosterone levels.

Therefore it is important that estrogen levels are kept in check to avoid all of these pitfalls.

Adrenaline

High stress levels also reduce testosterone levels and the benefits which come with healthy amounts of testosterone.

Adrenaline is important in high stress situations. It gives us the energy and power required during situations that could be a matter of life and death.

Like when you kiss a girl right in front of her boyfriend and then turn around to see 5 of the biggest men who turn out to be his friends. Sprinting 100m in under 10 seconds becomes a reality not normally associated with a 300lbs fat man.

It works by opening up our airways and forcing oxygen laden blood to our muscles to give us the best chance of survival in when faced with danger.

However, having too much adrenaline while we are not in danger can cause a number of issues such as dizziness, irritability, restlessness and anxiety.

In which case we need to reduce this stress, one of the most effective ways to do this is through physical exercise.

We often see the cliche images of a barbell and the text stating “This is my therapy”.

Well, actually weight lifting is a great way to relieve stress and tension, not only that, but compound exercises (one’s that use more than one joint in their movement) such as bench press, deadlifts, squats and pull ups actually stimulate the release of growth hormone.

Cortisol

High levels of cortisol can have a negative effect on sex drive and also your blood pressure. It can also give your acne and make you more susceptible to obesity.

You would need to manage your stress as mentioned above to ensure healthy levels of cortisol as well as adrenaline.
