NutraBio ThermoFuel V9 Women’s Formula Fat Burner First Look:

I am never too enthralled by supplements that lean towards one gender. I think they run the risk of losing out on potential sales and potential customers who may benefit from a great product are missing out because they think it is’t suitable for them.

Truth be-known, I have yet to discover a fat burner product that is not suitable for either gender.

NutraBio could literally lose the pink text and have it just white and this would be picked up by both men and women.

It looks good on the face of it, nothing crazy or silly. Just a professional looking product.


Ingredients: The Science

Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG) – Epidemiological studies have indicated that pronounced cardiovascular and metabolic health benefits can be obtained by regular consumption of 5-6 or more cups of green tea per day.

Furthermore, intervention studies using similar amounts of green tea, containing 200-300 mg of EGCG, have demonstrated its usefulness for maintaining cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Caffeine – Caffeine intake is associated with weight loss through thermogenesis and fat oxidation.

Green Tea – well known to have many powerful health benefits. Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat. One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese. Some researchers think that substances in green tea known as catechins are responsible for the herb’s fat-burning effect.

L-carnitine – Acetyl-L-carnitine helps the body produce energy.

It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement, and many other body processes.

It is a very popular supplement and widely proven to be active drugs for the therapy of symptoms associated with male aging.

Any fat loss tends to be associated with the extra energy provided by this compound which in turn increases exercise.

However, any other real fat reduction seems to be limited to elderly people. Although L-carnitine has been marketed as a weight loss supplement, scientific evidence is lacking.

N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine – Tyrosine is taken for depression, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), the inability to stay awake (narcolepsy), and improving alertness following sleep deprivation. It is also used for stress, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS).

Capsicum – Capsaicin is known to boost metabolism, causing the body to produce extra heat and burn more calories for fuel. This is found in our favorite fat burner Instant Knockout.

Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium) – At present, Citrus aurantium may be the best thermogenic substitute for ephedra. However, more studies are needed to establish this definitively.

Bitter orange is possibly unsafe when taken as a supplement for a medical purpose such as weight loss. Bitter orange, particularly when taken with stimulants such as caffeine or caffeine-containing herbs, increases the risk for high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack, stroke, and other severe side effects.
There are reports that bitter orange can trigger headaches, including migraine and cluster headaches, in some people.

Bitter orange can cause sensitivity to the sun. Wear sunblock outside, especially if you are light-skinned.

Theobromine – Theobromine can reduce sleepiness and in large quantities produces a jittery sensation.

Banaba (Lagerstroemia) – Not a great deal of research on this, however, it does seem to inhibit absorption of carbohydrates.

Dose:

There’s a 2 pill twice a day dose as per the instructions with this fat burner from NutraBio. We are served a solid 2954mg of ingredients per day.

A dose of 4 pills spread out evenly throughout the day is recommended to ensure a steady trickle of nutrients for your body to work with and is found with the best fat burners on the market.


Pros:

There are 4 and possibly 5 effective ingredients available here with this fat burner.

It is good to see cayenne peppers and caffeine as found with the best fat burner on the market today.

I am pleased that there is an appropriate amount of EGCG to be effective, on too many occasions vital ingredients are incorrectly dosed and just present as a tick box exercise.

With this adequate dose this supplement will be effective to a degree and help with weight loss goals.


Cons:

However, it ain’t all roses and strolling off in to the sunset, no sir.

Theobromine can cause jitters which would be multiplied with the caffeine.

Caffeine can also cause problems with Citrus Aurantium as there are risks of some pretty horrendous side effects.

While caffeine can have its benefits, this is dosed quite low compared to other fat burner supplements. Therefore it has the potential to cause some serious side effects but not be strong enough to be entirely effective if it were provided without the other ingredients it may have a negative effect with.

While there are positive signs from L-Carnitine and Banaba exhaustive scientific research is lacking somewhat.

Green Tea and Cayenne peppers are under-dosed compared to Instant Knockout which is a highly regarded product to strip fat.


NutraBio ThermoFuel V9 Women’s Formula Fat Burner Conclusion:

This fat burner supplement reads quite well. There’s a good number of proven ingredients present, a few others that while not entirely conclusive appear to be positive additions.

However, there’s also a couple of ingredients that may not react well when ingested together and this may cause unwanted side effects for some people.

Other excellent ingredients are also dosed low compared to the best products available.

Plus we have a nootropic element added too for no apparent reason.

Ingredients such as B12, B6, Zinc, Green Coffee and Glucomman to name a few should be present in any good fat burning supplement.

Therefore we end up with a product that has the hallmarks of something great but due to mismatched ingredients and under researched doses we are left with a mediocre product.

  1. They give me more apetite is that ok? I am supposed to take before meals? I do kickboxing every day one hour a day,, and i eat right but after I took this pill I knows I have more appetite 🤯and for how long we can take this pill? Thank you so much appreciated sincerely Cristina 😘

      Thanks for reaching out. It is interesting to hear your feedback.

      Have you just started the kickboxing? If you have just started participating in my high intensity exercise this will stimulate a greater appetite as you require more energy.

      Have you taken any body measurements such as weight and body fat using calipers before you started taking the supplements?

      Can you also see a difference at all in your body composition?

      If you are doing lots of exercise and eating the right foods you may gain more weight but this would most likely be muscle rather than fat.

      To establish if this product and your eating plus exercise regime is being effective you should take a note of your weight, fat (using fat calipers) and take some pictures of yourself. Then after a period of time you should make a comparison to see if you are making progress.

      One thing is for sure, when I cycle to work more often my appetite goes crazy but I can see a fat reduction around my stomach.

      If the supplement is not causing you any problems and you are see ing good results, you can keep taking it for as long as you like. If you are taking the two pills as per the instructions I would take them during the morning due to the caffeine content.
