My PhD Woman Body Sculpt Fat Burner Review
My PhD Woman Body Sculpt Fat Burner Review First Look:
I over indulged last night on the rose blush wine.
For some reason, it seems to affect me the least the following day, that isn’t to say I am feeling completely normal now.
I am the king of procrastination, and today it is even worse.
I am actually halfway through taping up my hallway and covering the floors with a sticky transparent plastic so I do not get paint all over the new carpets.
This is the final space in the house to paint since moving in almost a year ago, and I am sick of it. Still, that doesn’t seem to be any motivation to actually get off my arse and do the job.
So, here I am. And, I am here writing about this fat burner from PhD Woman.
I was in the store earlier today buying the usual hangover cure treats and soda, plus it is the Easter weekend so I had to buy some things for that too.
However, I saw this fat burner on the shelf which I hadn’t seen before so I thought I would give it a go.
Now, I know and fully appreciate that this is for women, however, that means nothing in reality, it is just a label, a good fat burner with good and effective ingredients is beneficial for both men and women.
So, leave your embarrassment in the car and buy it if the whole package stacks up.
So, here it is. A small white bottle with a bit of pink lettering.
It looks good in that simplistic and minimal way. It has a metal cap, which some how just adds a further amount of quality.
With lots of high calorie booze in me, plus the vegan pizza I sampled (a bit of a mistake if I am honest) I need something to help me burn extra calories along with my weights session later today.
This is exactly where an effective fat burner can help.
Fat burners can give you that edge whereby you burn the extra calories required which help toward creating that deficit which can lead to fat loss.
What can a fat burner really do?
You may well be surprised actually.
The idea that an effective fat burner just magically makes your waist smaller is far from the truth.
However, only the effective fat burners contain a number of ingredients in correct doses that work harmoniously and through a number of outcomes help you lose fat mass, not muscle.
Their benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Increase energy – This will help you be more active and stimulate you for effective workouts
- Thermogenic – These ingredients will increase the temperature of your core which increases calorie expenditure
- Appetite control – The ability to feel fuller and not to fall for sweet, calorie laden treats
As a result I tend to supplement my exercise regime with a fat burner supplement.
I have found Instant Knockout to offer the best results and as a result I try to use that daily.
Ingredients: The Science
Green Coffee Bean
Green coffee beans are coffee beans that have not yet been roasted.
These coffee beans contain a higher amount of the chemical chlorogenic acid.
For weight loss, chlorogenic acid in green coffee is thought to affect how the body handles blood sugar and metabolism.
This is found in our favorite fat burner, Instant Knockout. This has been found to be the most effective fat burner.

Dimethylaminoethanol DMAE
This compound can help with cognitive impairment, however, results from studies are a bit patchy.
This is not classified for use as a food additive in the USA. Has been marketed as DEANOL.

Caffeine
It stimulates the central nervous system (CNS), heart, muscles, and the centers that control blood pressure to give you an extra boost and hit that PB.
Caffeine Anhydrous is the purest form of caffeine so always look out for it.
This is found in 4 Gauge which is the best pre-workout.
It is also found in Instant Knockout which is the best fat burner available at present.

L-Tyrosine
Tyrosine is taken for depression, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), the inability to stay awake (narcolepsy), and improving alertness following sleep deprivation.
It is also used for stress, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS).

Phosphatidylserine
Supplementation could improve the memory functions of the elderly with memory complaints.

Alpha Lipoic Acid
Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant made by the body. It is found in every cell, where it helps turn glucose into energy. Antioxidants attack “free radicals,” waste products created when the body turns food into energy.
Free radicals cause harmful chemical reactions that can damage cells, making it harder for the body to fight off infections.

Green Tea
A well known to have many powerful health benefits. Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat.
One study found that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in people who were overweight and moderately obese.
Some researchers think that substances in green tea known as catechins are responsible for the herb’s fat-burning effect.
It has been shown to help lose almost 5% body weight over a three month period.
Green tea extract is found in many a good fat burning supplement.

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
Full of vitamins but not a great deal of human research to suggest that it can suppress appetite or lower blood sugar levels.
It may be the rabbits favorite meal but unless you fancy eating like a rabbit in the first place this isn’t going to do much for your fat loss.

Zingiber Officinale (Ginger)
Whilst tested in rats extract of Zingiber Officinale significantly increased in the relative weight of the testis, the serum testosterone level, testicular cholesterol level and epididymal a-glucosidase activity.
However, these rats were given 600mg per kilo of body weight daily. So that is a fuck load you would need.
Ginger has a great ability to reduce body weight without inhibiting pancreatic lipase level, or affecting bilirubin concentration, with positive effect on increasing peroxisomal catalase level and HDL-cholesterol.

Dose:
Four pills to be taken daily. This is to be split in to two doses of two pills.
It is good to spread out the dose across the course of the day to ensure our body has a constant supply of ingredients to process rather than peaks and troughs.
If you get too much of certain ingredients, that what the body doesn’t need at the time will be wasted and you will not feel the benefit.
Therefore, if you have a massive dose of Magnesium for instance yet your body is still processing and utilizing Magnesium from a meal you’ve recently had it will only use what is required.
What the body doesn’t require at the time will let it pass. Thus, a higher chance of waste and less benefits.
It is better to have a continued trickle effect.
This results in a daily dose of 1300mg which is quite low when compared to competitors.

Pros:
A quick glance at the ingredients makes me think that the quality packaging and design is matched by the ingredients.
There’s some big hitters included which are found in the TOP 3 rated fat burners to date.
So, let’s not muck about and get down to the nitty gritty…
Green Coffee Bean contains chlorogenic acid which helps to stimulate the metabolism.
The higher the metabolic rate, the more calories are burned or used for energy.
The thermogenic properties in Green Coffee Bean help raise the body temperature which then burns more calories.
People often say that as you age, you metabolism slows. This is not necessarily correct.
As already mentioned, when we age, we tend to slow down our activity rate. We do less sport and less exercise because other lifestyle choices and responsibilities take priority.
As a result we tend to keep eating the same amounts as we have been used to as a calorie burning exercise machine but now with less calorie expenditure, we store the excess as fat.
Caffeine is so often found in fat burners and pre workout because of its highly proven benefits to not only increase alertness and fight fatigue, but also raise the metabolism which will burn those extra stubborn calories to get closer to the deficit.
Tyrosine is not quite as popular in fat burners, but certainly is present in many pre workout supplements.
This is because it can help you stay awake by fighting fatigue as well as help you concentrate.
You may wonder why this is important, however, if you’ve ever gotten home feeling tired and low, this can help you get motivated and focus on hitting the gym or going for that run.
Phosphatidylserine may also help with improving brain function, again, this can help you focus.
Green Tea is another great proven fat burning ingredient that is present in big hitters such as Instant Knockout.
This is because, like Green Coffee and Caffeine, it can raise the metabolism by creating heat. This is known as thermogenesis.
That extra heat causes the body to burn more calories.
Ginger has demonstrated in clinical tests that in massive amounts it could raise testosterone (women need testosterone too) and also reduce body weight.
So, as the studies show, this collection of ingredients can contribute to weight loss and increases of energy and concentration.
Remember, these are all studies referenced by scholarly or from reputable source, not Wikipedia for instance.
Alpha Lipoic Acid helps create energy and fights off free radicals.
Cons:
So, we have established that there’s a good number of effective ingredients with the studies and science proving that they are beneficial.
However, there’s also a number of other factors that come in to play. A few things that hold this fat burner supplement from PhD back…
Dandelion just doesn’t seem to offer any weight loss benefit according to the trials.
DMAE is very much in the same position. There’s really no concrete evidence that proves DMAE can improve cognitive function. It’s not even classified as a food additive.
It is also held back because it misses out on a number of other proven ingredients that would have offered a big contribution and offer better results.
Take a look at these ingredients below which would have been useful to be included.
These include:
- Zinc
- B12
- Glucomannan
- Chromium
- Vitamin C
- B6
- Cayenne
- Magnesium
With all of these ingredients missing it certainly does not offer close to the fat burning performance we want and is available in other fat burning supplements such as Instant Knockout.
The dose is quite low, too.
My PhD Woman Body Sculpt Fat Burner Review Conclusion:
This fat burner from PhD does provide some great ingredients with proven studies to demonstrate how they can raise your metabolic rate and in turn burn more calories.
There’s also ingredients present that can help with alertness, energy and brain function.
So, it all sounds great.
However, it could have been even greater.
It could have been a higher daily dose, it could have included more ingredients, ingredients that are widely available and shown to increase the metabolism further still.
This is part of the problem, it offers mediocre performance, it is not striving for the best.
Anything else worth adding to this review..?
This could have been a much better supplement if PhD had offered more.
As it stands, it is okay, but you’ll be longing for more and better results, which are available…
Yes, there are some other products such as those in our top 3 fat burners are more attractive propositions.
