However, other powerful ingredients, such as phosphatidylserine, are missing. Zen seems to use extra sedatives to compensate for this. Also, we think that the doses of ashwagandha and magnesium are too low.
One ingredient that’s not included, unfortunately, is L-Tyrosine. Tyrosine can help improve mental performance under stress.
Also, hops and passionflower have not been sufficiently studied for their effects, we feel.
Zen may not be the top stress supplement on the market. However, it is definitely decent and worth a look. Partly because it’s so reasonably priced.
