Superior Labs are another fairly unknown supplement company (to me at least) but seem to be a number 1 best seller on Amazon.

This could well be something to do with the mention of MIT, the British Journal of Sports Medicine and the University of Malaysia on the bottle to add a little bit of validation to the product. and so it should to back up the following claims:

In all honesty I was looking forward to trying this product and the mention of ‘cycle’ and ‘aromatization’ is normally associated with steroids so we must be on to a winner..!

First look

American based company that proudly manufactures their product in the USA too under GMP and FDA facilities and regulations.

The strange thing is their website although informative does look simple and something more associated with a self help group or a pyramid scheme with plenty of (stock) motivational images which did make me wonder if I was in the right place or not.

it is a bit odd.

However, products should not necessarily be judged by it’s cover and more about the ingredients and effects.

Ingredients: The Science

After reading the full packaging and feeling pretty confident in the product I take a look at the ingredients and the amount of product that I am about to ingest to maximize my gains and, if I am being honest I am a bit underwhelmed:

Tribulus Terrestris – one of the most marketed and highly touted testosterone boosters, this supplement has never been proven to be effective in this regard and time after time rears its ugly head.

Longjack (Eurycoma Longifolia) – is a pro-fertility agent and aphrodisiac that appears to have a large body of evidence supporting this role and some evidence suggesting it may be an anti-estrogen and pro-erectile agent.

Lack of evidence for testosterone boosting at all which does not bode too well.

Zinc – One of the best testosterone production.

Involved in reactions in the brain to create more luteinzing hormone (LH), the body can then produce more testosterone and growth hormone. There’s a healthy 20mg per serving.

Vitamin B6 – Vitamin B6 helps testosterone levels by stimulating androgen (a steroid hormone that acts as a precursor for testosterone) receptors in your body, making your testes produce testosterone.

What really is getting my goat though is the proprietary blend which actually accounts for the majority of the dose.

So everything they have been harping on about in the packaging which links the Eurypeptides to MIT, University of Malaysia and the British Sports Journal is actually in a blend that we do not know the actual amount it contains.

It really could be absolutely minimal, it could barely contain a trace.

On the plus point the Tribulus, Maca root and Nettle root is in the proprietary blend too which can only be a positive thing as they may only be trace amounts and the less the better.

However, you are paying for this and at a high price too which is scandalous.

Additionally, the actually daily dose is barely over 1000mg so compared to products such as TestoFuel which provides 3000mg of active and proven ingredients per day you really are getting a raw deal with TEST WORX.

Dose

Only 2 tablets per day, as mentioned in other reviews I am not a fan of such a low dosing throughout the day.

I prefer at least 4 in order to continually promote healthy testosterone levels throughout the day and you are getting a real low dose of ingredients which is good for nothing.

It also make me laugh that they suggest a ‘cycle’ of 5 days on and 2 off with a rest of a week between bottles.

This is utter marketing at its best…

Novices read about cycles on forums etc about steroids and then associate this product as being a legal steroid…it is nothing but a hook to get a sale.

Pros

There are a few good ingredient her which suggest that they have done their research, however, the ingredients are minimal and there is a proprietary blend which is a big no, no.

Realistically there were no full effects and my gains were what I would attribute to a solid workout plan.

Cons

As with many testosterone boosters on the market there are a fair few key ingredients that are missing.

Big hitting ingredients such as D-Aspartic Acid, Vitamin K2 and Vitamin D3 are paramount for testosterone production and TEST WORX omits them whilst charging almost $60 for a bottle!

Unbelievable really.

My Review Conclusion

I feel short changed and utterly fed a line of marketing BS with this, the association of well regarded faculties is a real low hit from SuperiorLabs and it has left a nasty taste in my mouth which means I would steer clear of all their products.

The fact it as been given a 1 mark is purely for the inclusion on Zinc and the B vitamins and if they were included within the proprietary blend I would have no hesitation in scoring a zero!

There’s much better products out there that will promote testosterone levels at a similar price just take a look at our top 3.
