My Nutricost D-Aspartic Acid Testosterone Booster Review
My Nutricost D-Aspartic Acid Testosterone Booster Review First Look:
It is Christmas day, yes, it has literally just turned midnight here at TJ HQ.

I am not hungover as per usual on Christmas day, nope, am am here, writing this.
Having just hit the weights and completing a shoulder session earlier on Christmas eve I was pleased to be lifting the same weights that I was smashing up about a month ago, just before I was hit with the man flu and practically dialed by phlegm.
It is a frustrating time when your lifting capabilities reduce and you’re left fighting again for those past glories.
Thankfully, down to some hard work, anger and carefully chosen supplements I am not getting back to my prime.
I just have the issue with my groin to deal with now, and probably a visit to a physician if it does not clear up soon on its own accord, because anti-inflammatory tablets do not seem to be working at the moment.
So apart from my groin I do feel quite good and healthy.
Recently I have been plying myself with testosterone boosters to get that edge in the gym.
However, there is more to testosterone than just deadlifts and the shoulder press.
Avoiding a reduction in natural testosterone levels is important for overall health, not just building muscle and strength.
A reduction in testosterone can lead to the following problems:
- Loss of muscle mass
- Loss of strength
- Increased risk of osteoporosis
- A change in mood and outlook on life
- Irratibility
- Increase of fat mass
- Reduced energy levels
- Loss of libido
There are some way to combat this, and resistance training or weightlifting is helpful, particularly if compound exercises are employed.
Seeing as I am interested in weight lifting and trying to increase my strength it is of a double concern that my testosterone levels are maintained at a high level.
As such, I normally use TestoFuel because it contains nine proven ingredients that are able to stimulate more testosterone production.
As a result I have seen some great results that would envy a younger version of myself.
I am always keen to see what other products can offer and if they can have such great effects as well.
Ingredients: The Science
D-Aspartate, DAA
D-aspartic acid is one of two forms of the amino acid aspartic acid. The other form is L-aspartate. The benefits of D-AA are specific to it, and do not extend to aspartic acid or L-aspartate. D-AA can be used as a testosterone booster for infertile men, and by athletes as a temporary booster.
D-AA works in the central brain region to cause a release of hormones, such as luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and growth hormone. Importantly, unlike some pro-hormones and steroids, it does not raise estrogen levels.
A dose of 2000-3000mg is required.
Calcium is added to help with solubility, thus we get Calcium D-Aspartic Acid.

Dose:
4 capsules daily which amounts to 3000mg per day.
It is recommended that we have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best testosterone boosteron the market.
This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.
This is a strong amount and just over the required 3000mg as proven in tests.
Pros:
D-Aspartic Acid is a proven and reliable testosterone booster. It is found in all of the best testosterone boosting supplements.
It also includes the required and a bit more than the 3000mg daily recommended dose to be effective.
This pretty much tops the other supplements that are also solely DAA.
If you are infertile, the benefits are even greater still with increases of up to 60% and conceptions being increased by 26% not to mention up to a 100% increase in sperm count.
This is a perfect addition to your workout routine and other supplements you may be stacking.
Cons:
While S-AA is a great testosterone boosting ingredient, it misses out on other, proven and researched ingredients too, ingredients that are contained in the top 3 testosterone boosters which also contain big doses of DAA.
So while this has a a big and effective dose of DAA, more importantly it omits necessary ingredients such as D3, B6, K2, B12, Zinc, Magnesium, Oyster, Fenugreek etc.
So its failure to excel is based on its failure to include other ingredients.
My Nutricost D-Aspartic Acid Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion:
The main concern with this is the lack of supporting ingredients.
This will help stimulate testosterone production, there’s not doubt about that.
However, it won’t absolutely maximize its production due to other ingredients that are missing which are usually contained in better, more complete testosterone booster supplements.
As a result, this means you will have to stack this 4 capsules per day with another 4 or 6 further capsules for other supplements such as a ZMA, D3 and any others to make it as effective as those supplements that include everything and are effective for doing so.
