My Bodybuilding.com Signature Test Booster Review First Look:

Work was characteristically slow today. Barely a handful of people were n the office as we all tried to get our head around this seven day limbo between Christmas and new years day.

However, sick to death of decorations and eager to move forward with 2018 I decided to pack away my tree and fairy lights.

With change on the horizon and plenty of travelling about in 2018 I want to start the year right and with purpose.

This also means a change with my workout and fitness.

2017 meant there were plenty of distractions and hiccups, this was detrimental to my fitness journey that saw too many disruptions which meant I felt more like I was retreating than moving forward.

I want this to change dramatically in 2018, I also want to place more focus on the this website too, to take it to the next levels.

One thing that stuck out for me this year was the effectiveness that TestoFuel had on my lifting and recovery from when I tried a cycle of prohormones.

If I want to maintain a solid relationship with my gym and increase my lifting as well as improve my physique I will be utilizing a natural test booster.

Avoiding a reduction in natural testosterone levels is important for overall health, not just building muscle and strength.

A reduction in testosterone can lead to the following problems:

  • Loss of muscle mass
  • Loss of strength
  • Increased risk of osteoporosis
  • A change in mood and outlook on life
  • Irratibility
  • Increase of fat mass
  • Reduced energy levels
  • Loss of libido

There are some way to combat this, and resistance training or weightlifting is helpful, particularly if compound exercises are employed.

Seeing as I am interested in weight lifting and trying to increase my strength it is of a double concern that my testosterone levels are maintained at a high level.

As such, I normally use TestoFuel because it contains nine proven ingredients that are able to stimulate more testosterone production.

As a result I have seen some great results that would envy a younger version of myself.

I am always keen to see what other products can offer and if they can have such great effects as well, so with the introduction of this Signature Testosterone Booster from Bodybuilding.com I was keen to see what it/they could offer.

Let’s face it, with such an array of products offered for sale by Bodybuilding.com you would think they have the knowledge to know exactly what people want and need, so lets see if they have done their research.

Ingredients:

Calcium – Results show that training results in increased testosterone levels in athletes and that the increase is greater if accompanied by calcium supplementation.

However, calcium supplements are also known to increase artery plaque which in the long term can cause cardiovascular problems.

Read more about that, here.

Magnesium – Research into magnesium supplementation also increased testosterone production in men.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20352370

Zinc – An aphrodisiac and Testosterone Booster.

Zinc is also very important for the functioning of the enzyme, hormone, and immune systems. In very high doses, zinc can act as an aromatase inhibitor and reduce estrogen levels.

It is also a potent antioxidant and can provide benefits for prostate issues.

Fenugreek – Fenugreek is a proven ingredient as found in our benchmark testosterone boosting product; Testofuel.

Research shows that a fenugreek seed extract can reduce daily fat intake in overweight men when taken by mouth at a dose of 392 mg three times daily for 2-6 weeks.

Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) – Studies have shown that treatment with Ashwagandha root extract resulted in a higher level of testosterone and a concomitant increase in serum levels of LH among infertile men having sub-optimal testosterone levels.

It’s difficult to see if the same result would be found with guys who do not have any fertility issues. So the question is, are you infertile?

If you’ve been banging your missus (or even your mistress, we shouldn’t be even talking if you have smashed your sister) unprotected and have miraculously not had a sprog you probably are infertile…sorry to break that to you, bro.

However, you are probably in look because only 12% of men throughout the whole world are infertile, and even then, that is a generous estimate by the World Health Authority.

Dose:

The daily dose is up to three tablets which is not that good in terms of a dosing strategy…

It is recommended that we have at least 4 tablets spread evenly across the day, as per the best testosterone booster on the market.

This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.

A daily serving of three tablets is a medicore 1780mg.

Effects & Benefits:

Potentially each and every ingredient here can provide the stimulation required to increase natural test levels.

Three of the ingredients are included in my favorite test booster, TestoFuel.

That’s because Zinc, Magnesium and Fenugreek are proven to help your body produce more of its own testosterone.

Calcium is not found in TestoFuel, nor is Ashwagandha. The reasoning why, is covered below…

Negatives:

Calcium can increase natural T levels, yet Calcium is not without its downfall.

Too much of Calcium supplementation over time can increase artery plaque which then restricts the flow of blood potentially leading to a heart attack.

Ashwagandha has been proven in studies to increase natural testosterone levels, but only in men who are infertile.

Now, you may think the number of infertile men is quite high, and that’s not incorrect, but they do only make up about 12% of the global population according the World Health Organization.

So what is it missing that is required to provide an increase in natural testosterone secretion?

It could do with the inclusion of the following:

  • D3
  • B6
  • D-Aspartic Acid
  • Oyster extract
  • K2
  • C
  • E

Not only is this product missing a large number of other beneficial ingredients, but the actual daily dose is not high.

My Bodybuilding.com Signature Test Booster Review Conclusion:

As already mentioned I generally use TestoFuel which includes 9 effective and proven testosterone boosting ingredients.

TestoFuel has provided some great, noticeable results. Mainly my strength and muscular definition has increased in the past.

I have also used it as a post cycle therapy (PCT) after a cycle of prohormones and it managed to make me feel much better, increase my performance in the gym and get my libido returned to normal.

This product contains five ingredients that are proven to help increase natural T levels.

The problem is that long term Calcium supplementation can cause a build up of artery plaque, which can then lead to a stoke.

Then Ashwagandha is only effective if you fall into that 12% of the global male population that is infertile.

If you don’t, it’s just not going to work for you.

However, this natural test booster is missing an extremely large portfolio of beneficial ingredients that are proven to work and as a result, you should look to see which natural test boosters are going to provide beneficial results.

Take a look at what works to maximize your workouts.
