My BodyTech PrimalJax Testosterone Booster Review
PrimalJax: Is this the best testosterone booster at Vitamin Shoppe?
Unfortunately there are very few reasons why you would buy this supplement.

My BodyTech PrimalJax Testosterone Booster Review First Look
My assessment weekend for the Army reserves has been booked in, this means I need to ensure my fitness is up to scratch.
Obviously there’s the running which I want to ensure I do the 1.5 miles in 10 minutes thirty, but also the other more functional exercises such as overhead lifts, jerry can carries etc.
Now, I am confident that I can reach the required standard, however, my only concerns are surrounding muscle recovery.
When I go for the assessment weekend I will be thirty four years old.
I have noticed that the recovery from intense exercise is much longer than it used to be, I noticed as I reached the age of thirty that my energy levels also reduced.
Muscle Recovery
So, anything that can help combat this feeling and help support muscle recovery is welcome.
Especially when I will be clambering over and around assault courses which is a change from just laying down and pushing a bar up and down repeatedly.
I have been preparing a bit by trying to get more cycling in to build up my cardiovascular performance but I notice the length of time it takes for my legs to stop aching after a bike ride then leg curls.
Much of this is down to a natural depletion of testosterone.
Avoiding a reduction in natural testosterone levels is important for overall health, not just building muscle and strength.
Ingredients: The Science
Maca Root
Maca appears to increase libido, although this is free of any connection with male hormones. [1]
As a result, there aren’t any studies showing that it has an effect on increasing testosterone. [2]
Grape Seed Extract (Vitis Vinifera)
Grape seed estract seems to have an effect on improving blood flow. [3]
However, there isn’t a connection with testosterone at all.
Bacopa monnieri
Bacopa is a great nutrient that is used for improving memory function. [4]
This is why it is included in the best nootropic available on the market.
In terms of testosterone, there is not a connection at all and it has no effect.
L-Arginine
Arginine may improve blood flow and increase nitric oxide. [5]
As a result it can help improve physical performance.
These are all beneficial. Yet, it has nothing to do with increasing testosterone levels.
Tribulus
L-Dopa (Macuna Pruriens)
Mucuna pruriens is a good ingredient to have in a testosterone booster.
This is because it has been shown to increase testosterone in fertile and infertile men. [7]
In addition it also improves fertility. [8]
Longjack (Eurycoma Longifolia, TongKat Ali)
Tongkat Ali has links to improving libido and erections. [9]
There’s also evidence that it can reduce cortisol. This is important because high levels of cortisol can decrease testosterone. [10]
Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium)
Tests on rats have demonstrated a positive correlation with increased testosterone. [11]
However, this is at doses around 900-1500mg per day.
Dose
2 capsules twice daily.
It is recommended that we spread our doses evenly across the day, as per the best testosterone booster on the market.
This way your body has a constant trickle of the ingredients to work with in order to stimulate testosterone and to ensure that if you get a large hit of ingredients it isn’t wasted if your body doesn’t require them.
A daily serving is 2550mg.
This is not too bad, there’s a lot of test boosters that offer way less than this. However, it is not the best.
Pros
There are eight individual ingredients present in Primaljax which gives this a good opportunity to be an effective test booster.
As long as each ingredient is effective and beneficial, we could be on to a winner that will help you improve your quality of life.
So, let’s take a look and see what is included and what benefits there this supplement from BodyTech can offer:
Macuna Pruriens can help increase testosterone in men, particularly if they are infertile. It also reduces stress. Too much stress can contribute to the inhibition of testosterone production.
Bacopa monnieri can help reduce anxiety and help improve cognitive function, this is why it is so common in nootropics such as MindLab Pro.
Longjack can help reduce stress, which can then help improve testosterone secretion.
Price
Primaljax is $24.99
That is cheap, but I wouldn’t even pay that!
Cons
There are more than a few issues with this supplement from primaljax that masquerades as a testosterone booster.
The main part being a lack of proven ingredients, and the second part being dose levels.
Okay, the overall daily dose is not hideously low, but with just three ingredients having proven abilities.
Let’s go over what the issues are…
Arginine requires 5g, yet this provides us with just 500mg, so 4.5g deficient. That’s not good.
Eurycoma is a popular ingredient found in lots of test boosters which I find baffling, that is because it has no real body of proof to demonstrate that it will increase T levels in humans.
Horny Goat Weed may help with erections, and limited evidence for it to increase testosterone.
Tribulus has been proven that this is not effective to increase natural levels of testosterone, most notably by studying its effects upon a group of Australian rugby players. This still doesn’t stop companies touting it about though.
Grape hasn’t been proven to offer any hormone benefit. It may have antioxidant benefits at best, but isn’t really contributing to test levels.
Maca seems to be a fairly popular ingredient in test T-boosters, but again, like the majority of ingredients included it has no body of evidence that can offer substantial proof that this is going to increase androgens.
My BodyTech PrimalJax Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion
Primaljax from BodyTech fails on a multitude of areas.
Mainly, the issues revolve around ineffective ingredients which, there are plenty.
With a full analysis of the ingredients we can see that only two will offer any health benefit, a further ingredient, Arginine could have potentially have increased blood flow if only the correct amount was included per dose.
Therefore, we have nothing more than a blend of ingredients that are not going to offer a great deal of benefit.
Take a look at what works to maximize your workouts.
