South African Rugby Player Banned For Steroids
The disgraced player has been banned for 4 years after testing positive for anabolic steroids.
The Sharks hooker, Monde Hadebe, tested for 2 forbidden forms of steroid according to reports that are emerging from the South African Institute for Drug Free Sport (SAIDS).
Hadebe has recently sustained an injury whilst raining at Kings prior to the Super Rugby season and had yet to make an appearance in 2016. He had previously represented South Africa at U20 level.

Hadebe’s ban comes in the same season during which once-disgraced Springbok hooker Chiliboy who was banned 2 years previously whilst playing for Toulouse, France, is now back in the Super Rugby franchise and on tour with the Sharks as they prepare to play against the Hurricanes in Wellington, NZ.
Chiliboy had also tested positive for steroids which led to his 2 year ban, yet was cleared in April.
