New research has emerged from the Department of Psychological Medicine at National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and claiming even more benefits for the humble cup of tea.it seems that a cup of tea each day can prevent dementia.

The study involved nearly 1000 elderly Chinese participants and discovered that a regular drink of tea reduced the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease by up to as much as 86% and overall reduced cognitive decline by 50%.
