The need for training diversity varies greatly among gym goers. Training diversity for its own sake is a mistake, often championed by naive personal trainers to encourage a constant stream of income or supplement companies to ensure your commitment at the gym is still strong and in turn so is your spending on their products.
If you constantly vary your routine it will destroy your gains as your training takes a wayward turn from lack of structure or consistency.
