Betancourt Nutrition Lean Juice Fat Burner Review

Betancourt Nutrition Lean Juice Fat Burner Review First Look:

I cycle in to work most days as it is a great way to help with fat loss.

I also feel much better for it physically and mentally. It helps me wake up in the morning and invigorates me at the end of the day when I am normally tired and ‘over’ being at work.

My daily commute is only 14 miles combined and covers mainly flat terrain following a river from the small village on the edge of the city right in to the heart of the city center where the office is located.

All-in-all I would feel lost if I didn’t get this stint of cardio in each week.

However, not all goes to plan.

I have arrived this morning looking forward to grabbing a shower and cracking on with work to only realize I have arrived with no trousers…this means I am sat at my desk in ‘cycling’ clothes until the shops open, then, embarrassingly I will have to walk through the town dressed as a cyclist which isn’t glamorous.

However, alongside the cardio, the weights sessions I do I also use Instant Knockout fat burner to ensure I can keep the fat off and the muscle looking at least alright.

I was initially attracted to this fat burner from Betancourt because it is stimulant free.

I love a coffee, I drink loads per day so one small concern of mine is that I may be I am having too much caffeine, if there ever is such a thing.

So, while I sit here in shorts with my knees out at my desk and probably not smelling the best for my co-workers I will divulge in this fat burner called ‘Lean Juice’.

Ingredients

button-4

Garcinia Cambogia – Supposedly helps people lose weight, however, trials have been unsubstantiated or at least unimpressive.

Any tests run where there has been a glimmer of hope have been in stage 1 obese people.

Rhodiola rosea – Can protect against cognitive deficits, neuronal injury and oxidative stress, can also be used as a potential agent in treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. This is found in our favorite Nootropic.

Forslean (Coleus forskohlii) – Forskolin is a chemical found in the roots of the plant Plectranthus barbatus.

This plant has been used since ancient times to treat heart disorders such as high blood pressure and chest pain (angina), as well as respiratory disorders such as asthma, it can also assist with reducing fat mass in obese people.

However, no reliable scientific information that shows Coleus forskohlii extracts taken by mouth are effective.

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) – Full of vitamins but not a great deal of human research to suggest that it can suppress appetite or lower blood sugar levels.

Olive – Olive oil is widely used in many foods and its ability, like avocado, to reduce the bad (LDL) cholesterol is fairly well known. These are great to have in your diet.

While implicated in various fat burning effects (increased thyroid hormones and adrenaline) there does not appear to be any overall fat lost in trials.

Pterostilbene – Studies have shown that this is capable of enhancing cognitive functions.

Dose:

3 capsules per day.

We prefer at least 4 pills spread out across the course of the day to ensure our body has a constant supply of ingredients to process.

The daily dose of 1710mg is a low amount of combined ingredients.

In fact, this dose is not great when you consider some of the supplements we come across and doesn’t compare well with the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

Effects & Benefits:

This only has 6 ingredients.

Yet, of them all, the only real proven and beneficial ingredients appear to offer cognitive (brain function) improvements.

That means we have Rhodiola and Pterostilbene that are proven to help with our brain health, yet, everything else doesn’t have the concrete evidence to support any claims of fat loss or weight control.

Both of these ingredients are found in the best Nootropic available called Mind Lab Pro.

Negatives:

The daily dose is less of what we are used to seeing with the best fat burners.

However, the worst part is that fact that not one of these ingredients contained is proven to stimulate fat burn.

So, while it may be able to offer some cognitive benefits, it is not a full blown nootropic so you would be better off buying one of those rather than suffering the disappointment of this.

It certainly does not offer the fat burning performance we want nor is available in other fat burning supplements such as Instant Knockout.

Betancourt Nutrition Lean Juice Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

This does not help with fat loss.

It may not make you feel jittery after your 9th cup of coffee in the morning but it isn’t going to help you maintain a healthy and desired weight.

It may have some cognitive improving effects, but it is certainly not going to be optimal in that respect with just 2 ingredients there to help.

That does leave 4 ingredients to the side, with not one of them proven to burn more calories.

Unfortunately this is missing key ingredients that would really help with burning more calories such as:

  • B12
  • B6
  • Zinc
  • Magnesium
  • Green Coffee
  • Chromium
  • Caffeine
  • Chromium
  • Cayenne

Therefore, some other products such as those in our top 3 fat burners are more far more attractive propositions.
