Cellucor P6 Ripped Thermogenic Testosterone Booster & Fat Burner Review

Cellucor P6 Ripped Thermogenic Testosterone Booster & Fat Burner Review First Look:

What we are looking at here could well be the answer to all of our problems and aspirations.

This is both a testosterone booster and fat burner product.

At present the best option is to take both a separate testosterone booster such as Testo Fuel and a fat burner like Instant Knockout because these are the best two products on the market.

This supplement from Cellucor could put an end to that and provide everything we need in one convenient package.

That’s the theory anyway. The problem is that sometimes the ‘all-in-one’ convenient products don’t always perform to expectations.

Most ladies with amazing hair will tell you Wash & Go is not as effective as having separate shampoo and conditioner.

Who am I to argue with that?! Well, I won’t if I am honest, hath no fury that a woman scorned.

Annnd, if we look, historically products from Cellucor have never scored particularly highly with us.

They’re generally a bit mediocre and lack the performance of other supplements.

I hope this is going to be different as it could be what we are looking for.

Vitamin D – A great Testosterone boosting vitamin that must be taken advantage of to trigger further production of Testosterone in your body.

However, there are two types of Vitamin D. There’s calciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) – we are only interested in cholecalciferol which is D3; this is the type our skin synthesizes from the sun and becomes a hormone which results in the increases in our testosterone.

Research by the US Library of Medicine has shown that testosterone productions are increased with Vitamin D3 supplementation.

Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) – Studies have shown that treatment with Ashwagandha root extract resulted in a higher level of testosterone and a concomitant increase in serum levels of LH among infertile men having sub-optimal testosterone levels.

It’s difficult to see if the same result would be found with guys who do not have any fertility issues. So the question is, are you infertile?

If you’ve been banging your missus (or even your mistress, we shouldn’t be even talking if you have smashed your sister) unprotected and have miraculously not had a sprog you probably are infertile…sorry to break that to you, bro.

However, you are probably in look because only 12% of men throughout the whole world are infertile, and even then, that is a generous estimate by the World Health Authority.

Fenugreek – Fenugreek is a proven ingredient as found in our benchmark testosterone boosting product; Testofuel.

Research shows that a fenugreek seed extract can reduce daily fat intake in overweight men when taken by mouth at a dose of 392 mg three times daily for 2-6 weeks.

Ovine Placenta Powder – I cannot find any journals or scientific studies to prove that this will increase testosterone.

The only information which relates to testosterone was on websites advocating this product which seems a bit one sided.

Otherwise it seems if you are a well financed housewife there are plenty of London health clinics that will happily take many of your British pounds in exchange to rub a sheep placenta on your face.

Nettle Root – Good for reducing inflammation and an enlarged prostate but has no effect on testosterone.

Agaricus Bisporus – White button mushrooms to you and me, these are seen to be a aromatase inhibitor, therefore they reduce the production of estrogen which can maintain a higher testosterone level. If a man suffers from too much estrogen they can get bitch tits – puffy nipples.

Caffeine – This can assist with endurance, tested athletes saw an edge from caffeine in scientific studies. In some trials, the stimulant boosted athletes’ speed. In others, it helped them last longer before they spent all their energy.

Caffeine also raises the metabolism which means you burn more calories. Some studies show that it can curb soreness after exercise, too. This means you could get back to your training sooner and training means more calories burnt. This is present in all 3 of our Top Fat Burners.

Caffeine Anhydrous is the purest form so always look for that.

Forslean (Coleus forskohlii) – Forskolin is a chemical found in the roots of the plant Plectranthus barbatus.

This plant has been used since ancient times to treat heart disorders such as high blood pressure and chest pain (angina), as well as respiratory disorders such as asthma, it can also assist with reducing fat mass in obese people.

However, no reliable scientific information that shows Coleus forskohlii extracts taken by mouth are effective.

Capsicum (Cayenne) – Known to boost metabolism, cayenne causes the body to produce extra heat and burn more calories for fuel. This is found in our favorite fat burner Instant Knockout.

The advice is to take 4 pills daily which provides a wholly adequate, yet not ground breaking 2530.08mg

This is a mediocre daily dose when compared with the best fat burners which tend to offer in excess of 3000mg.

Effects & Benefits:

There are only 2 ingredients that would directly stimulate testosterone production.

D3 and Fenugreek are found in Testo Fuel which is a great start.

Now, there’s a few additionals that can offer some benefit.

Nettle root is an anti-inflammatory, too much inflammation can inhibit testosterone production.

Ashwagandha seems to increase testosterone levels in men who are infertile, so if you are one of the 12% globally this could benefit you.

Agaricus Bisporus appears to inhibit the rise of estrogen which in turn protects testosterone levels.

There’s also Caffeine and Cayenne Peppers, both of which are known and reliable fat burning ingredients.

These are both found in Instant Knockout.

It costs $99.99 for perceived convenience.

Just having 2 effective fat burning ingredients and 2 directly testosterone stimulating ingredients is hardly ground breaking.

This is also a proprietary blend. That means of the 2530mg we do not know the proportion of each included ingredient.

Then there’s the other ingredients. While some can provide benefit they are secondary ingredients.

The best fat burners and testosterone boosters are laden with ingredients that will boost your metabolism, energy and fat burning potential.

It is the same in respect to the best testosterone boosters as well. All the ingredients are massively beneficial in stimulation your own natural testosterone production.

This does it, but just a little bit.

It seems like a wasted opportunity considering it omits so many, effective and proven ingredients.

Cellucor P6 Ripped Thermogenic Testosterone Booster & Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

As I suspected, this isn’t the answer to both burning fat and increasing testosterone.

Because it only offers half measures (if that!) of the required ingredients for optimal performance.

As a result this really isn’t the product we were hoping for. You will get substantially better results from taking the two separate supplements. I’m afraid there are no corners to be cut on this one, just like your training regime and diet.

This also contains a proprietary blend which is a massive scam.

With the real lack of proven ingredients there are much better fat burners available, you can read about  here.

There are much better testosterone boosters, you can read more of them, here.
