I ended up getting really drunk last night.

There was a traffic accident not too far from my house in the village and this had caused a huge tailback of traffic.

So much so and with amazing weather we decided to ditch the car by the side of the road and walk in to the village and hit the pub.

We had food and drank plenty of wine, so this morning I had a fuzzy head on my cycle in to work.

However, I did at least cycle in to work, but I didn’t hit the gym as I had promised myself last night.

The issue is that good weather is so sparse and I know all to well that this early burst of spring sunshine can vanish all to easily leaving summer a washout.

Therefore, when the sun is here, it makes sense to get some of that vitamin D, especially when there’s a nice beer garden to take advantage of a mere few hundred yards from my front door.

So, with exercise and a nutrition plan in place, sometimes life leads you in a different direction from time to time, even with the best intentions.

This is exactly where an effective fat burner can help.

Fat burners can give you that edge whereby you burn the extra calories required which help toward creating that deficit which can lead to fat loss.

Especially if you cannot commit to a really good and consistent cardio regime.

This fat burner supplement looks like something that you would buy from a pharmacy or chemists or at least a health food store.

Apple Cider Vinegar

A study in Japan showed that obese people who took apple cider vinegar daily for 12 weeks lost a small amount of weight.

Once they stopped taking it the weight did return though.

Up to two pills to be taken in 24 hours.

It is good to spread out the dose across the course of the day to ensure our body has a constant supply of ingredients to process rather than peaks and troughs.

If you get too much of certain ingredients, that what the body doesn’t need at the time will be wasted and you will not feel the benefit.

Therefore, if you have a massive dose of Magnesium for instance yet your body is still processing and utilizing Magnesium from a meal you’ve recently had it will only use what is required.

What the body doesn’t require at the time will let it pass. Thus, a higher chance of waste and less benefits.

It is better to have a continued trickle effect.

This results in a daily dose of just over 423mg which is not high and not competitive.

So this is seen as a weight loss accelerator, and just by looking at a few of the ingredients this could be something special.

So, let’s have a quick run through them and see how they work.

Apple Cider has been shown in studies to help users lose weight, so this will be beneficial to weight loss at least.

Although we are not sure if this is weight loss or fat loss. There is a big difference.

Cayenne which raises the body temperature which your body tries to regulate. The body burns more calories trying to keep you cool.

This is known as thermogenesis. Thermogenics are a popular way to help increase calorie expenditure to get closer to that deficit when looking to cut fat.

As a result, it is included in fat burner supplements such as Instant Knockout.

Niacin helps your body release energy which can help you power through that workout.

Cocoa has weight loss benefits according to the studies.

Green Tea is a thermogenic and is able to help people lose up to 5% body weight when used consistently.

Chromium is found in the best fat burners because it helps your body use carbs and fats for energy.

Piper Nigrum is able to help your body absorb all of the nutrients that are found in this supplement.

Cons

We have to ask the question regarding the weight loss regarding Apple Cider Vinegar. You only show a reduction in weight when using it, but as soon as you stop, the weight returns.

To me this just sounds like a diuretic, so you pass water and lose water weight rather than cutting fat.

Not only is this just a short lived, temporary solution used to maybe shoe horn yourself in to a pair of jeans or a dress, it could leave you dehydrated which isn’t healthy.

Ribose does not have any scientific proof that it can improve or enhance athletic ability when taken.

Cinnamon can control sugar spikes for those who are diabetic butt here’s no weight loss proof. It can also be quite harmful in high doses, too.

Medicago Sativa as of yet has not been able to offer any substantial evidence that it is able to assist with expending more calories.

This supplement would also benefit from additional proven ingredients, too.

These include:

  • Zinc
  • Caffeine
  • Glucomannan
  • Magnesium
  • Green Coffee extract
  • Vitamin C
  • B vitamins
  • Fenugreek
  • Synephrine

Without any of these, this will not have the maximum effect on fat loss.

Then, let us not forget that this is a proprietary blend.

If you are not familiar with a proprietary blend, watch the video below of me in my old garage gym.

If you have skipped the video, a proprietary blend essentially means that although we know which ingredients are included in the supplement, we have no idea of the individual breakdown of each ingredient.

Legally, the supplement company could literally include just trace amounts per ingredient and the rest being a low cost filler.

Just to repeat that, this is completely legal.

There are many fat burners that have come on tot he market which include Apple Cider Vinegar.

The effects of Apple Cider Vinegar are quite puzzling…

While the science and research confirms that those who use Apple Cider Vinegar do lose weight, once they stop supplementing it returns. 

This is merely a temporary weight loss solution, and not particularly healthy or sustainable.

However, there are also other ingredients included in this product such as Cayenne and Green Tea which is actually able to contribute to fat loss, permanently.

That is because these are thermogenics which stimulates the metabolism, with a higher metabolism you will burn more calories than usual.

This will help towards reducing those fat cells.

There’s also a couple more ingredients that can help towards expending more calories, too.

However, these are all negated by the fact that this consists mainly of a proprietary blend which means we have no idea of how much of each individual ingredient is included.

Plus it is a low dose and there are a further three ingredients that have no proof of being effective.

Anything else worth adding to this review..?

The good and effective ingredients found in this are overshadowed by the proprietary blend and low dose.

For a supplement that contains more ingredients you are better off looking at what we rate highly for fat loss.
