My LES Labs Male Health Testosterone Booster Review
My LES Labs Male Health Testosterone Booster Review First Look
What direction are testosterone boosters heading?
More and more testosterone booster supplements are opening up to a wider audience.
This means they seem less likely to be targeting to bodybuilders.
This is no different. LES Labs have released a test booster called ‘MALE HEALTH’, and for good reason.
Modern research shows us that testosterone is beneficial for more than just muscle building.
It is important that men actually maintain a high and healthy level of testosterone.
That is because men suffer from the male version of the menopause, it is called the andropause.
The menopause effects women differently to men.
Changes relating to Andropause happen over a much longer period of time. This makes it almost unnoticeable.
Ingredients: The Science
So, let’s list through each ingredient and look at the associated studies:
Zinc
Studies proof that Zinc is able to increase natural testosterone levels.
Zinc also helps with the immune system and other bodily functions.
When a person sweats they lose Zinc, so it is important to top up your levels.
[Prasad AS, et al. Zinc status and serum testosterone levels of healthy adults. Nutrition. (1996)]
Eurycoma Longifolia (Longjack)
There are some claims that Longjack will increase testosterone levels.
Yet, there is very little evidence surrounding the claims.
There’s no human studies available proving Longjack is effective when taken orally.
[Bhat R, Karim AA. Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia Jack): a review on its ethnobotany and pharmacological importance. Fitoterapia. (2010)]
Citrulline
Citrulline can improve endurance exercise and is useful as a cardiovascular health supplement.
It can also reduce fatigue and increases nitric oxide production.
A dose of 6-8g is required.
[Bendahan D, et al. Citrulline/malate promotes aerobic energy production in human exercising muscle. Br J Sports Med. (2002)]
[Bescós R, et al. Acute administration of inorganic nitrate reduces VO(2peak) in endurance athletes. Med Sci Sports Exerc. (2011)]
Maca
Studies confirm that Maca does not increase testosterone levels.
[Gonzales GF, et al. Effect of Lepidium meyenii (MACA) on sexual desire and its absent relationship with serum testosterone levels in adult healthy men.Andrologia. (2002)]
Stinging Nettle
Stinging Nettle does not increase testosterone levels.
But Stinging Nettle does reduce inflammation. Too much inflammation inhibits testosterone production.
[Urtica dioica for treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia: a prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover study. Safarinejad MR. J Herb Pharmacother. 2005;5(4):1-11.]
Panax Ginseng
Studies in to Panax Ginseng have discovered that it may have a slight benefit on raising testosterone for infertile men.
[Youl Kang H, et al. Effects of ginseng ingestion on growth hormone, testosterone, cortisol, and insulin-like growth factor 1 responses to acute resistance exercise.J Strength Cond Res. (2002)]
How To Take Male Health
Take two pills every 24 hours.
It is better to spread the dose out over the course of the day.
This ensures our body has a constant supply of nutrients to work with.
This will end peaks and troughs.
If you supply your body with lots of the same nutrients at once it will pass what is not required.
Thus, a higher chance of waste and less benefits.
It is better to have a continued trickle effect.
This results in a daily dose of 715mg is less than a third of the best test boosters.
Pros
Only two included ingredients will help increase natural testosterone levels for you.
Zinc is able to maintain a healthy level of testosterone. Men who are deficient in Zinc have low testosterone levels.
Zinc can also be lost through sweating. If you do lots of exercise ensure your Zinc levels are topped up.
Panax Ginseng seems to help raise test levels slightly for infertile men.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Stinging Nettle does not increase testosterone, but it will help protect it.
Citrulline doesn’t increase testosterone either. It will help increase athletic performance.
So neither will improve testosterone levels but they are beneficial.

Cons
Two ingredients do not offer any benefit. Plus it is a low dose.
Maca has no evidence to support the theory that it increases testosterone.
Eurycoma has no human evidence to prove that it will increase testosterone. There are no human studies to prove that it is safe.
This dose is very low and will prove to be ineffective.

Unwanted Side Effects
Due to the lack of human studies regarding Longjack we are not sure of its safety.
Stinging Netlle may increase sweating.
What Improvements Could Be Made?
This needs to include more proven ingredients to improve performance. The dose needs to be increased too.
As it stands, just two ingredients are included that can help testosterone levels. So as a testosterone booster this needs more development.
Look at the ingredients listed below which would be of benefit:
- D3
- B12
- B6
- Magnesium
- DAA
- Vit. C
- Oyster
- Creatine
- K2
- Fenugreek
- Boron
These ingredients are included in the best testosterone boosters such as TestoFuel.
My LES Labs Male Health Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion
As a testosterone booster this needs more proven ingredients. It also needs a bigger dose.
This does include two further beneficial ingredients but even these the dose for Citrulline is so far off it will not have an effect.
Stinging Nettle can reduce inflammation.
Yet, this lacks over eight different proven ingredients which would elevate this product.
Any final words for this review..?
This doesn’t offer a solid number of proven ingredients to improve overall health. It is also dosed too low.
