More Russian Weightlifters Suspended For Doping
Russia has had to enforce a hard lined stance on its athlete’s as many more are testing positive for doping in Beijing, London and Sochi.
Latest reports coming through are that the Russian Weightlifting Federation has suspended 6 athlete’s between 2 and 8 years.
Not just confined to weightlifting, but also a Judo champion has been suspended for 4 years in relation to doping violations.
The press releases are swiftly after Russia has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons recently, notwithstanding their rife football hooliganism recently reported in Marseilles, France for the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament which is casting a dark shadow over Russia’s hosting of the 2018 World Cup.
It is all looking very bleak for Russian sport of late.
