REVIEWED: ALPHADROX Test Booster // Can This Top The Best?

ALPHADROX Testosterone Booster First Look:

Right then guys, it’s weights day today and I am back to lifting heavy – just a tip, do not revert to higher volume and less weights for your workout – fuck it! That shit is bad.

I feel so much better after pilling the lbs back on the bar.

However, due to rugby my body is aching like a bastard. It’s absolutely agony, just standing from my office chair and going to the bathroom needs to be meticulously planned to avoid wincing.

What I always love about weights night is that I also get to see what the best pre workout is too. Nothing better than being off (or not) your tits at 10pm on a week night.

What gets my goat about this testosterone booster is that there’s obviously so little thought that has gone in to marketing the product and just library images are used.

Poor show, old bean.

Take a look at our comparison chart to see which testosterone boosters offer the best results

Fenugreek Seed (Trigonella Foenum-Graecum) – It is claimed by researchers that fenugreek works to increase testosterone or androgen levels, which decrease as you age.

Vitamin B6 – Vitamin B6 helps testosterone levels by stimulating androgen (a steroid hormone that acts as a precursor for testosterone) receptors in your body, making your testes produce testosterone.

Magnesium – Research into magnesium supplementation also increased testosterone production in men.

Zinc – Studies show that this has a link with healthy testosterone production.

Tribulus – My only beef is that although Tribulus is touted as a wonder plant extract that helps strength gains and it was the secret drug of choice by Easten Bloc Olympic lifters in the Cold War (I think that was anabolic steroids actually judging by the women’s beards and square jawlines!) There is no evidence of any benefits from using Tribulus.

Horny Goat Weed – Epimedium, the suspected active component of horny goat weed, appears to act as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, similar to some drugs used for erectile dysfunction.

It does not, however, stimulate testosterone production.

2 pills per day which equates to a stupidly low 965mg per day.

That is low, real low.

Less than a third of the best testosterone boosters.

Benefits and Effects:

4 ingredients here are commonly found in the best testosterone boosters on the market and three of which are found in ZMA products as well.

They are all proven ingredients that are known, from studies, to increase testosterone levels by stimulating secretion.

They’re not in bad doses either.

There is a low daily dose, less than a third of what is found in a good, well researched testosterone booster.

It would also be better to see 4 pills per day so the dose is spread out more evenly allowing the body to receive a constant trickle throughout the day which should prevent a big surge and then troughs.

There;s also the naive use of Tribulus which has studies proving this has no effect on testosterone levels and Horny Goat Weed falls in to the same, lackluster camp.

Basics such as D3 and D-AA are nowhere to be seen here, if these were swapped with Horny Goat Weed and Tribulus we would have a much better result.

ALPHADROX Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion:

In my rampant quest for more muscle and strength I think I will leave this at the door.

Whilst there’s 4 good, solid ingredients here it is so disappointing to see an opportunity lost with the inclusion of 2 further poor, unqualified ingredients that will offer no benefit.

The tables could be turned so easily with the inclusion of 2 or more proven ingredients, not to mention a higher dose and a better dosing policy.

Let us not forget that this is almost $60! That’s scandalous.

Like the adage (and this old TV advert); why have cotton, when you can have silk..?
