My Sheer Strength Labs Fat Burner For Women Review

My Sheer Strength Labs Fat Burner For Women Review

My Sheer Strength Labs Fat Burner For Women Review First Look:

I’ve just scrambled from my basement gym fully aware that it is now past 22:32 on a Tuesday evening.

I have work tomorrow, I have just done some leg curls and I have to cycle to work tomorrow so I can increase my cardiovascular capacity which seems really poor after spending an hour almost crying in one of those big indoor trampoline places located in the sketchier part of town.

I also want to shed a bit of fat. I’ve got a vacation looming on the horizon and due to horrendous weather recently I have neglected cycling to work.

It just isn’t pleasant arriving at work piss wet through, do leave your damp clothes in your bag to then get piss wet through on the way home just to have a dirty water drip all over your house.

Plus, it has also been snowing too, which makes it a very slow ride.

If there were drying areas at work, it would be okay, but there isn’t anything.

This is exactly where an effective fat burner can help.

Fat burners can give you that edge whereby you burn the extra calories required which help toward creating that deficit which can lead to fat loss.

Especially if you cannot commit to a really good cardio regime.

This fat burner from Sheer Strength Labs is marketed just at women, but I laugh in the face of that.

A fat burner will either be effective, or not. Regardless of how much pink is plastered over the bottle, it will not deter me taking it to the cashier…along with my tampons.

What can a fat burner really do?

You may well be surprised actually.

The idea that an effective fat burner just magically makes your waist smaller is far from the truth.

However, only the effective fat burners contain a number of ingredients in correct doses that work harmoniously and through a number of outcomes help you lose fat mass, not muscle.

Their benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Increase energy – This will help you be more active and stimulate you for effective workouts
  • Thermogenic – These ingredients will increase the temperature of your core which increases calorie expenditure
  • Appetite control – The ability to feel fuller and not to fall for sweet, calorie laden treats

As a result I tend to supplement my exercise regime with a fat burner supplement.

I have found Instant Knockout to offer the best results and as a result I try to use that daily.button-4

Ingredients: The Science

Early tests have found that Rhodiola may be able to fight off fatigue, anxiety also seems to have lessened.

This is found in our favorite Nootropic and also features in 4GAUGE.

Acetyl-L-carnitine helps the body produce energy. It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement, and many other body processes.

Men who were supplemented 2g per day showed an increase of Insulin like growth hormone when combined with exercise.

Very limited evidence to suggest any fat loss unless you are an elderly person.

5-HTP (Griffonia)

This chemical increases the synthesis of serotonin which helps against insomnia, binge eating and helps with your mood and well being.

Anyone who is or used to go clubbing to house music will know a thing or two about serotonin!

Cissus Quadrangularis

Due to the ability of cissus quadrangularis to act as a glucocorticoid antagonist, it has been proposed to possess anabolic activity; no studies have yet addressed this topic.

Anecdotes of cissus seem to precede much of the science on the topic.

The studies say that Theanine is great for reducing stress, reducing anxiety as well as helping alleviating insomnia.

If caffeine is present too, IQ scores have known to increase – so grap a cup of coffee, quick.

Dicaffeine Malate

Caffeine and Malic Acid bonded. Malic acid is found in apples and the two combined help prevent the crash once the caffeine has worn off.

This is found in Mr. Hyde Cutz but very little in terms of scientific studies to be found. In fact, there’s nothing more than user reports and anecdote rather than hard reported evidence of its effects.

Two pills to be taken daily.

It is good to spread out the dose across the course of the day to ensure our body has a constant supply of ingredients to process rather than peaks and troughs.

If you get too much of certain ingredients, that what the body doesn’t need at the time will be wasted and you will not feel the benefit.

Therefore, if you have a massive dose of Magnesium for instance yet your body is still processing and utilizing Magnesium from a meal you’ve recently had it will only use what is required.

What the body doesn’t require at the time will let it pass. Thus, a higher chance of waste and less benefits.

It is better to have a continued trickle effect.

This results in a daily dose of 1430mg which is low when compared to competitors.

In terms of hard evidence, this seems to hold more benefit as a nootropic that a proven fat burner.

There’s only six ingredients available and much of the proof surrounds the Theanine and Rhodiola, everything else gets a bit sketchy.

Let’s see why…

Rhodiola has demonstrated its ability to fight off fatigue and reduce feelings of anxiety.

Theanine can also increase IQ scores while reducing stress, anxiety and insomnia.

Griffonia helps the body release more serotonin, this is known as the happy chemical and can help reduce hunger.

When people take the drug Ecstasy, lots of serotonin is released from the brain and it makes people ‘loved up’ and happy. It also is the reason why hardened clubbers are generally thin as they haven’t eaten for about three days straight.

However, if you have ever been on an Ecstasy fueled bender you will know how terrible it feels once the drugs have worn off and you feel depressed.

This is because you have depleted your serotonin stores.

Carnitine is better suited in a pre workout as it can help increase blood flow.

However, there has been proof of fat loss in people, but this only seems to occur in the elderly.

Well, the problem here is twofold.

There’s a low daily dose but also a number of ingredients that have no real science behind the claims.

We could also say that the problems are threefold, too.

That is because, the main active ingredients are more about cognitive function rather than fat loss.

Carnitine can help weight loss but only in the elderly, and for its increased blood flow benefits, this is severely under-dosed.

It doesn’t help that we have these two ingredients at the helm, either.

Di-Caffeine Malate has no body of proof behind the claimed benefits. Strange.

Cissus is also severely lacking proof as well to confirm its anabolic benefits.

Then, there’s a number of ingredients that are missing, yet are proven to be beneficial.

These include:

  • Zinc
  • B12
  • Glucomannan
  • Chromium
  • Green Tea
  • Green Coffee extract
  • Vitamin C
  • B6
  • Caffeine
  • Cayenne
  • Magnesium
  • Synephrine

My Sheer Strength Labs Fat Burner For Women Review Conclusion:

When does a fat burner actually turn out to be more beneficial as a nootropic?

When it is dressed up in pink and marketed towards a female audience for some reason.

Sure, this has Griffonia but that alone is not going to work wonders on your fat cutting goals when there are plenty of other ingredients missing and found in more effective fat burner supplements.

Okay, Carnitine could be beneficial if you are 70 years old, but at that age it seems to be a struggle for people to hold weight.

Plus it is under dosed here to be of any blood flow benefit.

Anything else worth adding to this review..?

This could have been a much better supplement if Sheer Strength Labs had offered more, safe ingredients rather than laden this with items that have no solid body of proof.

Yes, there are some other products such as those in our top 3 fat burners are more attractive propositions.
