WATER
You need to consume enough water distributed over the course of each day to produce at least 4 clear pee’s per day.
Until you reach this point of the minimum 4 clear pee’s you need to gradually increase your plain water intake. If your tap water doesn’t taste particularly nice get a water filter or drink bottled water that is more pleasant, the latter will be much more expensive to your wallet and the environment though!
Start to replace your other drinks with water, if you do like a hot drink try a caffeine free herbal tea and have mouthfuls of water every 15 – 30 minutes, this is much more beneficial that swallowing most of your water in large quantities but fewer times per day where it will increase urination but not necessarily hydration.
Little and often is the best strategy.
