My Trim Nutrition Night Cutter Fat Burner Review

My Trim Nutrition Night Cutter Fat Burner Review First Look:

I have just performed the obligatory pull your shirt up when in front of a mirror to check the rig.

It is not amazing, to say the least. It is not quite as good as it was a few months away.

I can blame bad lighting, pale skin and everything, but it just isn’t great after this whole Christmas period.

So, with it being new years eve, and looking back, lots has happened.

I have moved house, moved cities, tried to keep playing rugby and failed, tried to enter the Army reserves and sort of failed on that (got my entrance test dates mixed up), tried to lift more weight than ever and sort of failed on that too.

In fact, while there’s been some great stuff going on, there’s been a great deal of occurrences that have taken away my focus.

So, after seeing my dismal torso in the mirror (bad light, bro) I am determined that in 2018 I will finally be more focused and hit those goals.

Now, normally I am quite well behaved and up until recently have managed to stick to a fairly strict regime of heavy weightlifting, cycling to work and back which consists of a 14 mile round trip plus trying to eat clean (weekends not included) as well as incorporate the correct supplements such as Instant Knockout which is a fat burner that includes proven ingredients for fat reduction.

This regime has been fragmented to say the least. I am cycling perhaps only for two days per week and my lunch of rice and tuna has dwindled as I have bought sandwiches and I have run out of Instant Knockout.

So, looking across the wide spectrum of supplements I found one that is associated with sleep.

Now, we all love sleep, don’t we?

So a fat cutter and a one that works while I am asleep sounds like heaven.

Also remember, we secrete the most growth hormone when we sleep too, this helps with our muscle building goals too.

Ingredients: The Science

Vitamin C – Possibly the worlds best known vitamin.

Studies show that those lacking Vitamin C oxidize 30% fat during and after exercise than those with adequate levels. Therefore, those who do not have enough vitamin C may not be able to lose fat quite as well.

Vitamin D – D3 is a great Testosterone boosting vitamin that must be taken advantage of to trigger further production of Testosterone in your body.

However, there are two types of Vitamin D. There’s calciferol (vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) – we are only interested in cholecalciferol which is D3; this is the type our skin synthesizes from the sun and becomes a hormone which results in the increases in our testosterone.

Research by the US Library of Medicine has shown that testosterone productions are increased with Vitamin D3 supplementation.

Vitamin D also increase insulin human growth hormone too.

There’s a plenty of articles I have written covering the benefits of D3 you can read about, herehere and here.

Magnesium – Research into magnesium supplementation also increased testosterone production in men.

No evidence for weight loss though.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20352370

L-Arginine – This is found in many pre workout supplements or products designed to make you more vascular.

L-Arginine opens up the blood vessels and arteries to assist with blood flow, nothing really to do with testosterone but may assist with any impotency issues that are not helping you attain that hot chick in the gym who is 15 years your junior.

However, you will require 5g per day alone!

Glutamine – It is generally touted as a Muscle Builder, but has not been proven to enhance muscle building in healthy individuals; only those suffering from physical trauma such as burns or muscular wounds (knife wounds) or in disease states in which muscle wasting occurs, such as AIDS.

Taking glutamine by mouth does not seem to improve athletic performance according to studies.

http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-878-glutamine.aspx?activeingredientid=878

Taurine – It has been touted that Taurine can help mental performance.

Early clinical research suggested that taurine, in combination with caffeine, glucuronolactone, and B vitamins, can improve attention and reasoning in adolescents, but does not improve memory.

However, there is insufficient evidence to prove this is always the case.

L-Theanine –  Beneficial for stress reduction, decreasing generalized anxiety, and reducing the severity of insomnia.

If caffeine is present too, IQ scores have known to increase – so grap a cup of coffee, quick.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17182482

5-HTP (Griffonia)– This chemical increases the synthesis of serotonin which helps against insomnia, binge eating and helps with your mood and well being.

Anyone who is or used to go clubbing to house music will know a thing or two about serotonin!

Dose:

12.5g to be mixed with water.

We prefer at least 4 pills or servings spread out across the course of the day to ensure our body has a constant supply of ingredients to process.

The daily dose of 12500mg is massive compared to many fat burners.

Pros:

Having high levels of vitamin C is clearly useful for fat loss and it seems that Chitosan may help those who have a calorie constricted diet lose a small amount of weight too.

This is good.

5 HTP helps release serotonin which can help prevent binge eating, it can also improve mood as well. Something I could do with at this time of year.

Theanine is good to help reduce stress, anxiety and insomnia, so this should help you get some sleep.

Vitamin D is great for increase insulin human growth hormone and testosterone which is brilliant for muscle building, plus higher levels of testosterone do help reduce fat.

Arginine is often included in fat burners due to it being able to dilate blood vessels and increase the rate of oxygen flow. However, 5000mg is required for this and is often included because it is great for exercise.

Magnesium is good to help increase testosterone levels.

Cons:

I think this product is slightly misleading, If I am honest.

There’s only two ingredients that can actually help with fat cutting or weight loss.

Okay, Magnesium and Vitamin D can help increase testosterone levels which then contribute to weight loss but I would prefer further ingredients that were directly associated with increased calorie expenditure.

Arginine is great for helping improve exercise performance which can help you burn more calories if you can squeeze out an extra rep, set or 100 yards on the treadmill, but not so useful when you are laying in bed.

Not only that, but that falls within a proprietary blend of just over 5000mg and we need at least 5000mg of Arginine to be effective. We have no idea how much is actually included.

Taurine and Glutamine are not proven to help with weight loss.

As already mentioned, this does contain a proprietary blend, as a result we have no idea how much of the five ingredients that fall within this blend are included. Legally, it could just be trace amounts and a lot of bulking agent.

As a fat burner, it is not going to be as effective as many of the other products on the market which offer a more complete ingredient profile such as Instant Knockout.

My Trim Nutrition Night Cutter Fat Burner Review Conclusion:

This does not offer much as a fat cutter supplement.

There’s just two direct ingredients included that offer or help to provide direct weight loss.

Both have their benefits according to the studies which is reassuring.

Yet, there’s a proprietary blend which hides the amount of each ingredient included within that blend.

A couple of ingredients that do not help with cutting fat and further ingredients that would be more beneficial in either a pre workout or a testosterone booster supplement.

Then the daily dose is not particularly high when compared to other fat burners, however, the fact that is that there are also other missing key ingredients that would really help with burning more calories such as:

  • B12
  • B6
  • Zinc
  • Glucomannan
  • Chromium
  • Cayenne
  • Green Tea
  • Green Coffee
  • Caffeine

Therefore, some other products such as those in our top 3 fat burners are more far more attractive propositions which hold no artery risk and are laden with proven ingredients.
